Satisfied with the faculty, at least.
Placements: One batch consists of 150 students. I took admission here in 2023. The course fee is either 3,50,000 or 7,00,000, depending on the type of seat you have: semi-government or completely management seat, respectively. The major part of the fee is tuition and hostel fees.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the overall campus is good. The roads are good, and the buildings have been painted recently. In the hostel, we have single occupancy rooms, and we can request the college authorities for an AC if needed, and they can provide it.
Faculty: The faculty is very kind, dedicated, and supportive of all the students. Tests are conducted very regularly, and they are very thorough. Students, in pairs of two, have been allotted mentors for the entire course whom they can contact in case of any type of problem.
Other: Not many cultural or sports events are conducted.

    GMC Amritsar MBBS journey.
Placements: Placements depend on NEET PG scores after MBBS and the type of course they wish to opt for in their MD. Even in this college, the average stipend is Rs. 60,000 per month after MBBS in MD. Also, the salary packages vary depending on the branch of study that students opt for.
Infrastructure: We have a spacious library, labs, and lecture theatre. Hostel has all the necessities but the hygiene and sanitation are average. Hostels are very old and need to be repaired. College is 100 years old still some old things are not changed. Canteen and mess food are good here.
Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful and qualified with good hold over their subjects. Course curriculum is based upon the NMC guidelines and comes under BFUHS University. Semester exams are good to assess students' progress in studies but are often difficult to pass because of passing criteria.
Other: The best thing about our course is it prepares students for the current health scenario and problems faced by people in rural areas too. The role of a doctor is a savior. Fest and events of our college are the best ones with full pomp and exposure. Campus surroundings and infrastructure are best.

All over, it's a good college.
Placements: Our batch (2019) had a group of 250 students. As medicos, we don't get placements via companies but need to build our CV to work in hospitals after completing a compulsory and rotatory internship in various departments at the same hospital. All students who pass the final year get into internships. The stipend we receive during internships in all government colleges of Punjab is a mere 15,000.
Infrastructure: Being a government college and hospital, the infrastructure is lacking. Although they have constructed two new hostels, one for girls (the smaller one) and another for boys, the overall condition of the college infrastructure is manageable but definitely needs improvement.
Faculty: The faculty is well-educated and well-versed, but during our batch, there was some confusion due to curriculum changes by the NMC. However, this issue has been resolved, and classes are now more clinically oriented. Some teachers are helpful, while the majority tend to be less so.
Other: I chose this course because I was inclined towards Biology from the start. Although I never realized how vast and difficult it would be, it's worth it. I wish there were more facilities at the government college hostels and better utilization and transparency regarding the allocated funds.

    Gian Sagar Medical College.
Placements: MBBS is a course which gives job security. You will get many job opportunities and nice income sources, with many options to work on. This college is a hub of job opportunities and provides opportunities to grow in your field. Almost all students get placed in hospitals around India and, in fact, worldwide. The starting salary just after MBBS is about 70k to a max of 120k. Also, the income depends upon the experience of a doctor, so I can’t tell much about that. All the students in MBBS get internships. Students after MBBS are recruited as JR.
Infrastructure: Best infrastructure. The hospital and college are both well-built and have best-in-class infrastructure, providing a good learning experience. Fully equipped labs and lecture halls. Clean hostels are there with regular cleaning staff. Classrooms are fully AC and Wi-Fi equipped.
Faculty: Good academic record. Work according to NMC guidelines. Best teaching staff and testing methods. Regular tests not only prepare you for your university exams but for your competitive exams as well. There are yearly exams; these all come under Baba Farid University of Health Sciences.

Absolutely satisfied with this college because of the good faculty, environment, and placement.
Placements: In our college for the MBBS course, after 4 years, there is an internship in which you are given shifts in the hospital to work with doctors, and they pay you a monthly stipend of 15,000. People here are asking to increase the stipend, so we are hoping that it will be done soon.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is average, and basic hygiene is kept. But in the first year, you don't get a room; they give you a dorm in which you have to adjust with 16-20 people. Also, they don't provide you with an almirah and beds; you need to bring your own. But no need to worry, they are working on it and will be done with it soon.
Faculty: No doubt this college is prestigious, and it is also a very old college. All the faculty members are super supportive; they clear all your doubts. There is also a committee for anti-ragging, as it is strictly prohibited in this college, so you can call anytime and seek their help if needed. This is a plus point for girls.
Other: The events and fests conducted here are so energetic. There is a fest named Aura every year; it is a 5-day fest in which you will see competitions, flash mobs, comedy nights, and star nights. Also, there is a sports meet every year, and there are lots of extracurricular activities like the gym, swimming pool, and many more.

The real truth about our college.
Placements: There are no specific placements offered by the college. However, students can secure positions in government colleges, hospitals, or private institutions. All students get internship opportunities, and they can pursue careers as MDs in medicine, surgeons, obstetricians, or pediatricians.
Infrastructure: The college has a library, four lecture theatres, one skill lab, and different departments for each subject. The hostel conditions are average, and the food in the mess is also average—neither very good nor very bad.
Faculty: Some teachers are very helpful, while others can be arrogant, but they still assist in any situation. MBBS students benefit from their studies, as it helps them in treating patients. Terms are conducted every three months, and most students pass.
Other: It was my childhood dream to study here, and the best part is that we can treat patients. Recently, our college held a fest named Endorphin.
