I would like to rate BBD University 6 out of 10.

Placements: Placements are high from sales and marketing companies only. Placements in core companies are very low because of the lack of practical knowledge among students. Except some, most of the teachers are underrated and provide only theoretical knowledge which is not helpful for any job. The college lacks providing personality development to the students, which also affects their placements. Students also lack discipline.

I am not satisfied with college.

Placements: Placement of the college was average not most of the students get placed in the campus. There is an edge in the IT branch for placements. Most of student getting their placements from out side the campus. There is no internship from college.

A good university, but not the best university in Lucknow.

Placements: Placements in college were not satisfactory at all. Companies that visit the campus are of average status and not students' dream companies. Many students even deny applying for placements. The average salary offered to us was Rs. 15,000 per month only which nowadays is unsatisfying.

Our college teaches us how to live life and how to become successful.

Placements: Placements in the college are quite good. Many companies visited the campus for placements. Mostly, management and engineering students get placed, and other students do not get many placements compared to them. I am from the law background, so I didn't get the opportunity to get placed as no law company, or a legal firm visited the campus for a long time.

I am not satisfied with the college. Students take coaching or do MBA after the course.

Placements: As far as placements are considered, they are not good for core engineering courses like civil, mechanical, electrical, etc., because only one company has visited for placements, i.e. BL Kashyap. Around 1,000 students from various colleges applied for the placement drive of that company, and less than 50 students got placed. Besides this, the college charges Rs. 8,000 every year additionally, in the name of providing placement training which is simply a waste of time and it should be done free o...

Mixed emotions. Good infrastructure but bad placement scenario.

Placements: Placement scenario at BBD (talking about School of pharmacy) is pathetic. You cannot expect a decent package offered? By this college. Out of a batch of 30-40 students, 3 - 4 got placed, in MACLEOD'S ( which was the only company visited ) in production, quality control and quality assurance. Now, talking about the highest and the lowest salary offered, My seniors were offered just rs 13000 - 17000rs per month. Which is a great disappointment after spending 4 tough years in this college. Good college, but it is not satisfactory.

Placements: There are no placements for the civil department students. Companies don't visit the college for placements. Only for IT department and computer science, companies visit the campus for placements. Companies have stopped coming to the campus for placements from past 3 or 4 years. For civil engineers, placements are not guaranteed.

Dissatisfied with the placement opportunities because it is almost zero. The infrastructure is poor.

Placements: The placement opportunities are less in this university. One has to get himself/herself registered in different programs. There are no internship programs held in the college. The students have to apply themselves for different internship programs.

Dissatisfied because of faculty and the placement they provided for our batch.

Placements: Only a few numbered like 2-3 local companies visited the campus for BCA students and selected a couple of students only. The teachers do not provide any pre-placement assistant at all, and we are unaware of what will be asked in the placement paper. Moreover, the highest package they are offering for a BCA is 1.5 LPA.

Average college but good experience.

Placements: The placements are good, but not excellent. 50% of the students got placed, but mechanical and civil engineering placements are not good. The maximum salary is 20 LPA and minimum is 2 LPA. Wipro, Tata Consultancy, Infosys and many companies come to the placement cell of the university is good.

The infrastructure is good on the campus. The exposure is less, and the syllabus is outdated.

Placements: Regarding the placements, the training and the placement cell is active, but unable to attract the good industries. The maximum companies, who visited the college were startups. TCS is one of the main recruiters here, but the number of finally placed students in TCS is too low. Overall, as far as the placement is concerned, the average salary is offered here is about 1.5 LPA to 2 LPA. Overall, I'll give it 2 out of 5 stars.

A short time story of my postgraduation days.

Placements: The university did not organise placements. The university does not call a single industry for placement. This is the worst thing that had happened. No single industry comes for placement. It has a big-name in Uttar Pradesh, but get no placement. The new universities also organise some kind of job carnival.

Placements: Roughly 15 students got placed out of 120 students from our branch and batch. The lowest salary of Rs.18,000 per month and the highest salary of Rs. 25,000 per month are offered in our college. TCS, Infosys and some more companies visited our college for placements. Placements: The placement is good. But the students are in bulk and the companies taking the students are less. The highest salary offered is 3.5 lac and the lowest salary offered is 1.8 lac. They don't provide any extra training for the placements or internship.

Dissatisfied because of no placements and no support from the college's end.

Placements: No placements at all. You cannot expect a company to come to your college for a drive, because the placement cell is not at all supportive. The worst experience ever had in terms of placement. The placement cell of the college is so bad that even when we apply for a drive anyhow, they cancel our application giving some reasons.

It was good to study there. The faculty members are very co operative. The college has no ragging zone. It was awesome spending my life's 4 yrs over there. The placement records for IT,CS,EC,EE is best but not good for CE. The college atmosphere is good. It has spacious auditorium, park, mall, cricket ground, gym etc.
