Our college is not too good.

Placements: The highest salary package offered in our course was 5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2.4 LPA. A top recruiting company of our course is Infineon. About 20% of the students from our course got an internship in companies like Bosch. A top role offered in our course is graduate engineer trainee.

I am satisfied with the good placement, infrastructure, facilities and surroundings.

Placements: Around 90% of the students got placed in B.Tech. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. The average salary package offered was 4 LPA. Top companies like Byju's, Autodesk and Mahindra visited our campus for recruitment. There are around 90% of students who got internships in top companies. Role offered is as an engineer.

This college doesn't meet students expectations.

Placements: This university is not that good for the engineering course, but it is great for management courses. The highest salary package offered for the mechanical engineering branch students is around 2 LPA. At least 8 CGPA is required to get better placements. They don't provide industrial training for students in the last year of engineering.

It is the best university, especially for the M.Sc chemistry department.

Placements: I am fresher in this university, and there are 60 admissions in M.Sc chemistry. I have no idea about the salaries offered and about recruiting companies for our course. In M.Sc chemistry, the fee for a complete two years course was 1.9 lacs. But our university provides scholarships to the students according to their percentage and other different quotas. I have no idea about internships.

Review of Bahra University.

Placements: Almost 78% of the students got placed. The salary offered is Rs. 10,000 per month. The college offers masters and pharmaceutical course. The highest salary offered is Rs. 25,000 per month. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 4,500 per month. The average salary offered ranges from Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 12,000 per month. Our university has good quality classrooms, Wi-Fi and good placements.

Placements: There are many placement companies which visit our university for the placements like Mahindra. There is also a placement cell in our university. Many types of roles are offered to students by many companies. But, only a few students get the job, and many of them don't get the placement.

Best university with the best placement.

Placements: M.Sc. chemistry students are placed in Sakata Inx limited. The package offered is Rs. 25,000 per month and 100% placement. All the students are placed in the company. Seventeen companies visited this year for the placement. The total 225 students were placed in the placement drive. Best university with best placements.

The experience of the college was not very bad, as I got the degree at last which is valid.

Placements: There was a very less number of companies which came for the placement drive. Most of the companies are IT based. There was not a single company for civil and mechanical. The percentage of the students placed from civil was 2-5 %. The salary package was between Rs.8,000-Rs.12,000 for a site engineer. In It, the department students got the package of Rs.15,000-Rs.20,000. There was a placement cell in the college which was not that useful for us where they were more focusing on IT sector jobs.

College with low standard.

Placements: Placements are not good. Most of the students are placed for technical support jobs. Some are just doing the internship. Highest package offered this year was 3 LPA. The lowest package was 1.4 LPA. They show that our seniors were placed, but most of them didn't get the offer letter. Few have some joining issues. For few students, the company they got selected was not good. This year, from MCA, two students were placed, in that one student just got selected for the internship.

Number 1 university in teaching in Himachal.

Placements: At Bahra University, placement records are very good. One can easily get placed if he or she is up to the mark. Around 50 to 60 companies visit each year for placement drives. The 2017 batch placement record was very good and around 110+ students got placed in different companies. The highest package offered was 6 lakhs per annum and the average package is 2.9 lakhs per annum.

My collage life is good. With studies, I enjoyed a lot and my CGPA is among the top five students.

Placements: Placement of the students is low and the companies which are coming for placement offer low salary packages. But there is a very good scope of placement in hospitality management. The average salary package is almost Rs. 18000 pm and I don't think it is good enough if the student is placed far from his home town. Companies which come for placements are Mahindra, Reliance, banks and some clothing companies like Tommy, etc. According to my knowledge, none of the students is placed for an internshi...

Bahra University- Makes you learn well. But don't give enough opprtunity to use that knowledge.

Placements: Placements in this university are almost null. They only know how to lure students and make them dream big. In spite of being the topper of my batch with a CGPA of 10 on a scale of 10, what I got in the name of placements was nothing. By chance, if some C class IT companies visit there, that too for the whole Rayat Bahra Group, only minimal students get placed. For eg. toppers of respective branches get the package of 1.5- 2 lakh p.a. So, investing a huge amount of money in this university is j...

Fully satisfied with the faculty.

Placements: The placement criteria is a bit different here from other colleges. Not many companies visit campus for placement purposes. Students are provided with packages of 3 lacs. Most of the students get enrolled in masters for higher education inside the campus or some try out too.

Fantastic placement record in 2016.

Placements: BU Solan has got one of the most friendly faculties and placement officers. Teachers are passionate and inhibit will to help students regarding their problems and projects. Placement officers are always available to get in touch with students in the times of need. Students experienced around 15-20 IT companies this placement year which offered packages ranging from 2.5 LPA to 6.5 LPA. Good campus and well connected to the national highway.

Placements: The university takes the pain to bring several companies for placement. A majority of IT companies come to recruit the students and the core Civil Engineering companies are very few. The placement of our batch was claimed to be 100% but only a few students went forward to join the companies as theY did not get the desired job.

The University does not have good faculty, they don't take any lectures especially in the second year i.e. 3rd and 4th semester. The fee charged for hostels is also high, and the campus selections are just nominal and people get jobs with pay of 12 to 15000. Don’t have any good library for Management studies. They focus heavily on fee etc., Suggest not to join MBA, as my ward studied MBA and struggled a lot to get into a job.
