If you are interested in research, then this is the best field for you.
Placements: None of the students from our batch got placed in any company. All we did is that appeared in various all India exams like GATE, CAT and secured good percentile in both. Many of us also prepare for government job exams like CHSL, RRB and CGL. Many of the students cracked those exams are doing a job there.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility is very good. A mess and hostel charges are also very low compared to other colleges. There is no Wi-Fi facility throughout the campus. Wi-Fi facility is available in the department and library. Lab and other facilities are excellent here.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very friendly and helpful. They are very good in academics as well as have good achievements in research. The course curriculum does not make you industry-ready. To become industry-ready, you need to do M.Tech, which seems quite easy after studying here.
Other: The campus life is a little boring for those who want some enjoyment at the weekend as the location is not good. SVMCM scholarships are available for students.

It is a good university, but there are no placements.
Placements: There are no placements at all in our department, and our college provides very poor campus placements. Placements were conducted around 7 years ago, and after that, placements have not been conducted at all. Our university does not invite companies and also doesn't provide internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Classrooms, Wi-Fi facility and library resources are very good, but the lab facility is not very good. Labs and practical facilities are not provided well here. However, the hostel facility is good, and the mess fee is less. The quality of the food served in the mess is very good.
Faculty: Professors here are well qualified, knowledgeable and student-friendly, but the student to teacher ratio is very low. The number of faculty members available here is very less. The course curriculum is good, but it is not designed properly. It is not flexible enough, so it must be properly arranged as per semesters.
Other: I wish that our college must provide placements for our course.

Review of BCKV - Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya.
Placements: Above 85% of the students from this course were placed. Students who got a rank of 5,000 in WBJEE joined in this course. The highest salary offered here is 10 lacs per month. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month and the average salary package offered is Rs. 40,000 per month. FCI, tractor manufacturing companies, etc., are the top recruiters for our college. The top role offered in our course is machine modifier. Students who want to study PhD further all got internships.
Infrastructure: Our college provides practical field and lab. Our college has a Wi-Fi facility, very good classrooms and Asia's 2nd biggest library. Agricultural engineering students get the conveyance of a different hostel, not like other courses here. The quality of the food available is not very good, and it's very costly for maximum students. There is a canteen, medical facility, sports, games and everything on this huge campus.
Faculty: Our college has good professors, and teachers are very helpful. They are very familiar, and most of them are PhD holders and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is nice. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes the students completely industry-ready. It is an awesome place to study this course.
Other: I got good marks in WBJEE, so I chose this course. The best thing about this course you will get a job after doing this course. All events, fest and extracurricular activities are conducted here. National and state-level scholarships are available. The campus surroundings are nice and calm. The connectivity of the campus is well. The campus crowd include nearly 7,000 students.

Review of the agriculture engineering course in BCKV.
Placements: Placements in our college were very good earlier. Various banking firms visited the campus, and they hired a lot of students from our college. Various other companies also offered placement opportunities to the students. But the placement cell is closed now, and they aren't offering any placement opportunities now.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi facility available for students, but it is available for teachers. Classrooms are very good. The library is huge and helpful. The medical facility is also available here. There is a lot of scope for games and sports. The quality of the food served here is not that good.
Faculty: Faculty members in the college are very good. They are very much helpful. Most of the faculty members are PhD holders. The course curriculum is very much helpful. The practical classes are very much effective. Overall, our faculty members are good enough.
Other: It's a great place to flourish yourself. Different kinds of cultural activities are held here. The annual function of this university is known as Social, and it's filled with funfilled events. The campus is huge and is spread over 50 acres. One can take bus or tempo from Kachrapara Railway Station to reach here.
