The total tuition fee for PhD course is INR 1.8 lakh. Aspirants are required to pay the course fee after completion of all the selection rounds to confirm their seats. The selection for PhD course will be based on Bennett Research Aptitude Test (BRAT) followed by a personal interview round. BRAT is conducted by Bennett University and schedule for the same will be updated on the official website. In case, a candidate is unable to pay the fee within the specified time, his or her admission will stand cancelled.
Aspirants will also need to pay a registration fee to apply for admission. The application fee for each course is INR 1,500. Candidates can pay the registration fee via any of the online payment mode.
Q: What is the required grades for PhD coursework at Bennett University?
The minimum course credit requirement for PhD shall be 10 credits (four research methodology + six others aligned to research plan) for M.Tech qualified candidates. The course work should be done preferably within one semester or maximum two semesters. The credits requirements for students having MSc or equivalent qualification shall be 13 credits (four research methodology + nine others aligned to research plan).
The minimum overall CGPA requirement in course work shall be 7.5 on a 10 point scale for student to be accepted as scholar for PhD degree. If the CGPA of any student is below 7.00, at the end of any semester, his registration will be terminated with immediate effect. However, if his CGPA is 7.00 and above but less than 7.5, he may be asked to take more courses in order to enhance his CGPA to 7.5 or above, subject to the condition that this should be achieved within maximum duration allowed for the course work.
