PhD is a minimum of three-year and a maximum of six-year programme. Bennett University offers PhD in 10 specialisations at doctoral level. PhD course entails specified coursework and credit requirements for different specialisations, publications and research thesis. The thesis would be the report of research work characterised by either the discovery of new facts or the new interpretation of known facts and theory, or an independent design and development, or the development any new instrument or technology. The university conducts its own entrance exam for shortlisting candidates for PhD courses.

Candidates with bachelor's degree with honours and a rigorous research report in the major or relevant area of study and 75% marks of 8.0 CGPA on a 10 point scale in the relevant programme can apply for any of the PhD specialisations.

Q: What is Bennett University PhD fees?
The total tuition fee for PhD course is INR 1.8 lakh. Aspirants are required to pay the course fee after completion of all the selection rounds to confirm their seats. The selection for PhD course will be based on Bennett Research Aptitude Test (BRAT) followed by a personal interview round. BRAT is conducted by Bennett University and schedule for the same will be updated on the official website. However, if his CGPA is 7.00 and above but less than 7.5, he may be asked to take more courses in order to enhance his CGPA to 7.5 or above, subject to the condition that this should be achieved within maximum duration allowed for the course work.
