It needs some improvements to get its earlier reputation as the best university in South Odisha.
Placements: Our college has no placements. There are no training and placement cells. Students have to try for off-campus or pool-campus placements at other nearby colleges. The average salary offered is Rs.15,000 to Rs.25,000 per month.
Infrastructure: The department of biotechnology doesn't have its building. Labs are decent. The CIC building is also owned by the department of biotechnology, which has excellent labs for animal and plant tissue culture. It's still in the setup process. The hostel, canteen, mess food, and Wi-Fi are not good. There are few opportunities for sports.
Faculty: Our teachers are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive. They organise seminars, workshops, and industrial tours. The examination schedule is very uneven since it's a government college. Exams might be conducted late.
Other: The M.Sc. in Biotechnology (DBT-Supported) program provides a monthly stipend of Rs.5,000, and their fees are also less at Rs.8,000 per semester compared to other students' fees of Rs.40000 per year. The campus is very average. One might not get all the facilities. Festivals are not organised.

This college is good if you are a visionary.
Placements: I don't know to be exact, but two or three students have cleared GATE exam. Two of my seniors are doing projects under our HOD. No top Recruitment companies are coming to our university, but students are applying for jobs in several companies TCS, TATA, WIPRO etc. For their future life.
Infrastructure: The facilities in classroom, Physics department has toilet, aqua guard, libraries, open space, Wi-Fi (not working now but it works), good infrastructure, computer Lab and Optics lab etc.
Facilities in gents' hostel include toilet, aqua guard, common room, open space, Wi-Fi, good infrastructure, sports equipment etc. Basically, the quality of the facilities in my hostel is very good. Canteen meals are okay according to the price.
There is a medical inside of our university & that's a good thing. Numerous sports are available (chess, football and cricket etc.)
Faculty: The teaching quality is very good in the physics department. The exams are not so difficult, if you study regularly and attend the lectures. The pass percentage I guess is 80% above.
Other: I like Physics so I chose this course. It's widely acceptable at any field of work life after student's life. The teachers here could be more like in Cambridge. They should be able to teach more efficiently in the classroom. Extra-curricular activities are good in this college.

Other: Good facilities available in chemistry and also good class room and practical facilities available. The dept. has 32 seat for pg. courses and 8 seat for MPhil course. The college is present near the Gopalpur beach .the calm and quit environment and green campus gives good environment for study. Good hostel facilities available each student have single room in the hostel and ,daily bus available to nearest market and the buses drops at the hostel type of common facilities available in the campus like ATM ,bank shopping complex etc.

It's such a nice department because of faculty & placement. And infrastructure is also good.
Placements: Almost 50 to 70% of students are placed every year. And the highest package is 6 lac per annum and the lowest package is 3 lac per annum. The top recruiting companies are Tech Mahindra and VVDN technologies. And the roles offered are Software engineer, Antenna designer and Electronics engineer.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is awesome. And in our department, a laboratory is available. And on our college campus, Wi-Fi facilities are available. And we have a big library where we can sit and read peacefully. And also we can borrow some books. Our hostel is also good and maintained neat and clean. And the mess food is also good and we get free medical facilities there. And every year, a sports competition is organised and we get to participate in it.
Faculty: Our department teachers are so helpful in nature. They are PhD qualified and they help us with studying. And they teach us very well. And yes, this course curriculum is relevant and it makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams are not difficult. During the semesters, the exams are conducted very strictly. The pass percentage is very high.
Other: I chose this course because I can make a career in both the hardware and software industries. And I also get to build up my knowledge here. And events and fests are well organised here. And we also get scholarships. And extracurricular activities are organised every year. We participate and we enjoy ourselves a lot here.

I am satisfied with the college because they provide good placements and facilities.
Placements: Above 60% of the students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 2.8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.5 LPA. Recruiting companies of our college were pharmaceutical companies such as MacLeod's Pharma and Hetero Pharma. Assistant officer and production manager in pharmaceutical companies were the roles offered.
Infrastructure: There were 35 classroom facilities. Laboratories had state-of-art, and we had computer centres with high-speed internet connectivity. There was a seminar room, conference room, an auditorium room and a fully automated library. The entire campus was Wi-Fi enabled. The sports facilities in the college include a large playground. The recent canteens were the hub of out of class discussion and exchange of information. It served clean and hygienic foods like snacks, drinks and lunch at subsided rates. There was a medical room in the college which provides first aid. An allopathic doctor was available for consolation.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were very helpful in all aspects. They were highly qualified and knowledgeable persons. Teaching quality was very helpful for students because they behave friendly with us. The classroom teaching was very attractive for all the students. The course curriculum was relevant and helped us to be ready for companies.
Other: I opted for this course because it helps in many pharmaceutical companies. Organic chemistry is the best thing in our course and can be improved. Many events were organised by our university. So the campus was very crowded. Scholarships were also provided, and extracurricular activities were held.

Glorious college with great faculty and facility.
Placements: Many of the seniors were well placed on various government jobs such as B.Ed D.El.Ed. About 80% of our college students get placement every year. The company came to our college and take some children to placement than their respective companies and give high salaries.
Infrastructure: The building of our college is well developed. There are different rooms for lab, classroom, library, sports, and game. The food items of the college is very delicious. The hostel life is enjoyable. The rooms were always Cleaned by sweeper of our hostel.
Faculty: The teachers of our autonomous college is very interested. The ratio of students to faculty is 60 ratio 1. The teachers were very interesting persons. They explain the concepts with daily life situations. That's why most of our children love all the teachers of our college.

Students opting for hostel facility have to pay an hostel fee. The total hostel fee is a sum of multiple components such as admission, maintenance, mess, caution, etc. Some of the fee components such as hostel caution money and mess advance are refundable. All other components are non-refundable.

Berhampur University provides scholarships via different agencies. The university offers scholarship through Medhabruti, Govt. of Odisha, Higher Education Department, Prerana Scholarship and UGC PG Merit Scholarship. Candidates need to complete BPharm degree with at least 50% aggregate to apply for Berhampur University MPharm course. There is a 5% relaxation in the aggregate for SC/ ST aspirants. One must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission.
