Bharathiar University BCom Courses & Fees 2024: Placement, Admission, Eligibility & Scholarship

The affiliated colleges of Bharathiar University accepts the scores of Class 12 or equivalent examination to prepare the merit list for admission. The University does not conduct any entrance examination nor accepts the scores of any entrance test to offer admission to the BCom programme. Therefore, candidates can get direct admission at Bharathiar University for Bcom.

After pursuing BCom from Bharathiar University or any other BCom college in Tamil Nadu, candidates can work in various diverse sectors. Some top roles offered to the BCom graduates include accountant, auditor, manager, and chartered accountant. Some major recruiters who take part in the placement process are Wipro, TCS, IBM, Infosys etc. 

Candidates who have passed the Class 12 examination from a recognised Board and have obtained minimum 50% marks in the qualifying examination can get admission to the BCom programme offered at Bharathiar University.  

Bharathiar University offers a three-year BCom programme at the UG level. The admission to the programme is based on merit in Class 12. To be eligible to pursue BCom at Bharathiar University, a candidate must have passed Class 12 with a minimum aggregate score of 50%. Hence a candidate scoring less thant 50% in Class 12 is not eligible to apply for BCom at the university. Such candidate can still pursue a BCom at other universities/institutes. In case they fail to scure a seat for the regular BCom courses, they can check out the colleges offering online BCom courses.

Bharathiar University BCom fees 2024 ranges from INR 1,400 to INR 3.30 Lakhs according to the specialisations and the colleges offering the programme. Apart from the tuition fee, candidates are also required to pay the application fee, one-time admission fee and hostel fee (if any).
