It is the most decorative institution in Assam.

Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are not good in this institution. There is one girls' hostel and one boys' hostel. The girls' hostel is good as compared to the boys' hostel. The hostel fee is comparatively high in this institution.

Faculty: Teachers are good in this institution. They are very helpful whenever students asked them questions. The available faculty members have to do overwork. So, the energy of teaching is not the same in every class. This course is good, but there is a lack of facilities in the mathematics department. One teacher has to take 2-3 classes in a day so the energy of teaching is average. One batch includes 40-45 students. Students get on average 8.5-grade points every semester.

Other: I have a mathematics background so I chose the B.Sc course at this institution. Our batch enjoyed this a lot during this course. The varsity week is very good and enjoyable. Students organise some seminars on mathematics and freshman social in our department. Students make a beautiful and meaningful wall magazine called PrantaBindu.
