Fees for SC and ST categories are Rs 20,000 which includes stipend.
Placements: About 85% of students are placed in our course. The lowest salary package offered is 3.3 LPA. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahendra, etc., recruit students from CSE branch. Top role offered is software developer. This college is best for CSE, etc. All students get placed but other branches placement rate is low.
Infrastructure: Hostel facility is good as I stayed for 6 months. Three students are allowed to stay in one room in 1st year. Every room has a separate bathroom. The food in the canteen is very good. Separate 2 cars are assigned for hospital facility.
Faculty: Teachers are friendly. They teach well and I am satisfied. The course curriculum is industry-oriented, so it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are very tough if we do not study properly. Exams are conducted very strictly. Exam is conducted by BPUT Rourkela College.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in the IT field. Events like Utopia and DJ Night are organised by students.

GIET is excellent. Review Based on my experience.
Placements: Our college gives a 90% placement guarantee. The highest salary package offered is 33 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. The top most visited companies for the placement process are Tata, Wipro, Accenture, Paytm, etc. Around 100 % of students secured internships every year. This college provides its college internship program.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is beautiful and excellent. Facilities our college provides are good. Free Wi-Fi is available anywhere inside campus including library, classrooms, and lab. Library and lab classrooms are air-conditioned. Hostel facility is decent but medical and sports facilities are good.
Faculty: Faculty members of our course are well-educated and qualified in a good manner. Extracurricular activities are also good. Their teaching style is good and different from anyone and teach using a projector and PPT. They also provide notes. Semester exams are fully easy. Around 90% of students easily pass.

The college has an average placement; it's not good.
Placements: Placements are poor. Only two to three companies visit our college. Last year, 15-20 students got jobs. Cipla and Sunpharma visit our college. The highest package offered was 3.2 Lacs per annum, and the lowest package offered was 1.8 Lacs per annum. 12 students got selected in GPAT entrance.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi and CCTV are available all over the campus. There is one ladies' hostel inside the campus and a boys' hostel outside the campus. The library is good. There are cricket grounds, a volleyball court, and a badminton court on the campus. The classrooms and labs are spacious, with all the necessary chemicals and apparatus.
Faculty: Teachers are good; they are helpful, quite experienced, and highly educated. They prepare us for the industry well. The course is very vast and challenging. The University BPUT conducts two semesters in a year, and each semester has two internals conducted by the college.

It is good for tech branches.
Placements: In our integrated M.Sc. Course, placements opportunities are very low because few companies are hiring students who are pursuing this course. Due to a post-graduate course, we have to do other courses to pursue some job and for this, we have to study more.
Infrastructure: To be honest for a government-funded college they can be better in their infrastructure and hostel infrastructure. But they are not paying a little attention to the terrifying college infrastructure. It had been not renovated for about 7 years or more.
Faculty: The academic session of our college is so good and here they give priority to attendance. Professors are also cooperative and they are very open to their students. But some of them are opposite to them as I described before rather than everything is good.
Other: Fests and events are breathtaking here.

Opportunity and skills matters.
Placements: According to our knowledge, approximately 70% of students are placed every year in the Computer Science and Engineering branch. The average salary package offered in our college is approximately 3.5 LPA. It is in the 3rd-position college in Odisha.
Infrastructure: It has a very good infrastructure and hostel facility. It has different buildings for different branches of the college. Hostel and mess quality are also good as they are at cheap prices. Different badminton and volleyball courts are also available inside the college.
Faculty: Faculty members are very top-notch because they all have completed their master's degrees from IITs and NITs. The curriculum followed here is somewhat outdated. But it is all-sufficient student welfare and placements.
Other: It has only 1 fest which is held in March every year. But it has many club which are very active.

IGIT is the best engineering college.
Placements: Approximately 50% students get placed in companies like Adani Group, L&T, TRL, Collins Aerospace, Visa Steel, JK Paper, Dalmia Cement, AMNS, MSP Steel, Mahaveer Ferro Alloy, and software firms like TCS and Tech Mahindra. The salary package is 7.5 LPA, and 2.5 is the lowest. The average is 4.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The facilities include Library, smart classrooms, Wi-Fi, playground, auditorium, primary hospital with ambulance, ATM, etc. The hostel facility is available for both boys and girls with proper food in the canteen. We get hostels on the basis of merit, but sufficient rooms are not available for all students in the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, but the way of teaching is not appropriate. Along with that, they need to properly study before teaching in class so that they can easily teach students. The course is not sufficient to make students ready for industry performance. Exam level is moderate.
Other: I am interested in this course because want to know about machines, mechanism as well as engineering study.
