Step 3: Counselling
Shortlisted candidates must attend the counselling process as per the time scheduled by the respective entrance exam authority or the BPUT, whichever is applicable depending on the course. Seats are allotted based on the rank secured in the entrance exams, cutoff past academic performance, and preferred choices. Candidates have to pay a counselling fee of INR 200.
- For Orissa State Candidate: Parents of the candidate must be permanent resident of Orissa. To claim benefit under this category, a candidate shall furnish at the time of counselling a permanent residence certificate, in prescribed form (Appendix-I) from a Revenue Officer
- Women Candidates: 30% of the seats in all the categories are reserved for women candidates in all Govt. engineering colleges and State quota seats
- Other Reservation: 12.5% of seats in B.Arch. course are reserved for diploma holders in Architecture in CET, Bhubaneswar.
Step 4: Final Admission
Selected candidates must report to the college and complete the admission formalities to secure their seat at Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Orissa.
