Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra - Deoghar Extension Center Scholarships and Funding
BIT GP BIRLA SCHOLARSHIP -
The following categories of BIT GP Birla Scholarship/ Assistantship will be available to the students of all campuses during SP 2023:
(A) BIT GP Birla Scholarship:
BIT GP Birla Scholarship will be provided to the meritorious students solely based on their academic performance in MO 2022 without any consideration of their family income. A limited number of scholarships is available under this category. The Scholarship Committee will decide the cut-off for this category based on the available fund. Attempt will be made to distribute the scholarship uniformly among various programmes and across students of all batches.
(B) BIT GP Birla Scholarship for B.Tech. and B.Arch. based on AIR in JEE:
(Main) As mentioned in the advertisement for admission in B.Tech. and B.Arch. programmes, candidates who have secured prescribed All India Ranks in JEE (Main) are eligible to receive the scholarship under this category.

The Institute is providing different kind of financial assistance / scholarship to the students of various UG programme, such as- Meritorious scholarship (based on AIR in JEE-Main for all categories)
Institute also provides Fee waiver in tuition fee for staff wards.
Following Scholarship is provided to students -
G.P. Birla Scholarship, Jharkhand E-kalyan and National Scholarship .
G.P. Birla Scholarship of around Rs.Twenty Five Lakhs is provided to meritorius students in session 2022-23. Jharkhand E-Kalyan Scholarship of around Rs. Fifteen Lakhs is provided in session 2022-23. Scholarships provided by other organizations were around Rs. Five Lakhs for session 2022-23.

Placements: In our college, an average 60% of students are placed every year in my course. The highest package offered in our college is 51 lacs per annum, and the lowest is 4 lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies were TCS, Infosys, Accenture, and Google last year. It is important to do an internship for the students.
Placements: Approximately 80% of students secured jobs. The highest package offered was 51 LPA, while the average stood at 11 LPA and the lowest at 4 LPA. The top recruiters were Microsoft and Amazon. Most of them got internships. Graduates often take roles such as Software Developer, Electronics Engineer, and Data Analyst.
Placements: Almost all the students get placed from Deoghar campus of BIT. It is off-campus but training and placement cell managers well the recruiters there. Wipro, TCS, Goldman, tata, tata steel and many more companies come to recruit. Internship is also good here. 70% students have chance to get internships.
Placements: Good placements. The highest package is 51 LPA, and the average package is about 6-7 LPA. This college BIRLA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, MESRA is very good for a bright future for students. The students who got admission to this college will never regret it because it is a reputed college across this country.
Placements: College placements are likely to be good. The students become eligible as soon as they meet the company’s job criteria. Companies like Microsoft and other mass recruiters visit the college for recruitments. The highest Package offered in this course was 54 LPA by Microsoft. Almost 70-80% candidates are placed every year.
Placements: 70% of students were placed in my course, but sometimes it may be less. 51 LPA is the highest package offered in my course. TCS, Infosys, Accenture, and Cognizant are the companies. 50% of students got internships, and some students are doing paid internships.
