Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra - Lalpur Extension Center Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,Ranchi

Placements: Only 3 students out of 200 students from our batch got placed. I didn't remember the salary package offered to the students properly. The salary offered was Rs. 18,000 per month. Top recruiting companies like Aircel and Godrej & Boyce visited our campus for our course placements. Our college does not provide an internship.

Placements: For placements in this college for BBA course, companies were not available during our tenure. At the end of this course, if you want some exposure by doing some job, you have to apply on your own with your references or vacancies. For the bachelor's course, it is hard to find placements anywhere.

Placements: Around 20% of students are placed till now in different companies like TCS, SAP LABS, ONIX CAPITALS, etc. and one or two more companies are yet to declare the result. The highest package is 4.8 LPA and the lowest is 1.93 LPA as of now. Some of my friends got jobs in the trading sector, while some in the technical sector. Average package is around 3 LPA. Till now no student has got offer for internship from any of the companies. Most of the students will do Master's degree.

Placements: 20 student got placed. Package around 2 Lacs per annum Top recruiting company is TCS Around 20 percent of students got internship from Wipro and TCS the highest package offered is around 2.2 LPA Average package offered is around 1.5 LPA the lowest package offered is around 1 LPA.

Placements: Not so decent placement. Only a few companies like tcs and wipro will come for placements. But if one is good enough he/she can surely gain a good advantage from this place. The highest CTC offered was 3 LPA by tcs and there was no avg because only 10-15 of us got placed and most of us opted out from the placement process.

Placements: No placement in college especially for BCA students in 2017 pass out batch. Good placement in 2016 pass out batch. TCS, Wipro was there for placement purposes. There are placement issues especially in extension center, Lalpur, Ranchi. There are placements for B.Tech, MBA and M.Tech branch.

Placements: The placements are good of this college for undergraduation in management. There is a placement cell which takes all posibile steps to ensure placements. Mainly jobs from banking sector are given. The average salary lies between 4-5 LPA which is good keeping according to the fee structure of the college.

Placements: There is a good placement record, though sitting for placement is optional. Still, chances are high for getting placed. The companies like Amazon, Google, Axis Bank, etc., come for placement along with HEC, Oil India, etc. The highest package in the year 2017 offered was 8 LPA.

Placements: I'm from year 15 to 18th batch. Doing BBA from its Lalpur extension campus. There is no placement provided for this course in this college, however you can get job offer from outside the college, for example- I have got selected as customer service officer but I'll go for MBA not for Indigo Airlines.

Placements: Placement was good. About 75% of students got placed with an average of 3 lakh per annum and the highest of 6 lakh. Companies that visited our college are Mahindra Finance, Vodafone, Pantaloons, Axis Bank, Tech Mahindra and many more. Roles that they offered were HR executive, finance, sales executive, management trainee etc.

Placements: In BBA placement is not a big deal, anyway, all of my batch mates were preparing for higher studies. Graduating from a big brand is the best deal you can get for a good higher education. BIT is having a good placement department which can perform above our expectation. Moreover, the legacy of Birla helps us for placements.

Placements: Our college provides good placements in any course. The placement percentage is 70% to 80%. The salary package offered in BCA and BBA is 2 LPA to 3 LPA. Top recruiters are Deloitte, Infosys, Amazon, etc.

Placements: BIT Mesra is one of the most prestigious colleges in the state of Jharkhand, but it got most of the reputation and fame due to its B.Tech course, which is pretty evident with its BBA and BCA courses. Companies don't visit our college for placements typically for courses like BBA, etc. Even companies which visit also want students to have an excellent academic record.
