Review of Birla Institute of Technology and Science.
Placements: As a Pharmacy Student, BITS Pilani ranks in the top 3 for pharmacy according to NIRF. So it's good. But irrespective of the branch, the college holds the same for every degree. Whether you are of any branch, you study under the same roof. Depending on the CGPA, companies recruit the students, and almost all the companies which recruit are the best ones. Overall, Placement and alumni are great as heard from the seniors.
Infrastructure: There are various classrooms depending on the strength of students in one class or time. Separate classrooms for lecture and tutorial sections. Hostels give the proper hostel-like feeling, with each hostel having its own garden-like area and some indoor and outdoor sports. Wi-Fi is in each corner of the campus. Some old structures, but renovations are in progress.
Faculty: The difficulty of the semester depends on the study done by you. There is a system of relative grading for CGPA. One of the best things is that you have to make your own timetable with the available time for you at which you are flexible, with the required condition that must be fulfilled, such as every course assigned to you should fit into the timetable. Teaching quality is good.
Other: Events and festivals are one of the biggest fests in India. They give you an opportunity to learn and interact with other people.

It is slightly expensive, but it is worth every penny.
Placements: Placements are extremely good in all sectors, and a lot of opportunities pave your way if you are a BIT student. The previous semester has been a boom for BITS Hyderabad placements. The highest domestic salary package offered is 52 LPA by Google India to Janani Padmananan to a girl student. The average salary package offered was 5.5 LPA in 2015. The average salary package offered was 9.2 LPA in the 2016 first semester. The branch-specific average package has not been disclosed yet. Students who score less than 6 CGPA get an average salary package of 5.5 LPA. Students who score CGPA between 6 and 7 get an average salary package of 6.5 LPA. Students who score CGPA between 7 and 8 get an average salary package of 7.6 LPA. Students who score greater than 8 CGPA get an average salary package of 8.2 LPA.
Infrastructure: The campus life is an extremely jolly one which is the best four years in the life of any BIT student. The gender ratio is extremely good and balanced. The infrastructure is world-class, from a huge student activity center to all sports grounds, other extremely good academic buildings, and labs. The campus culture is cheerful. There are many clubs and societies so that you can join and explore your talent in every field.
Faculty: Faculty members are extremely knowledgeable. They come from all over India and abroad from very good colleges like IITs, BITS, and other prestigious colleges from around the world. They help you in every way possible, and you can work under them for the projects they are taking and gain a lot of experience.
Other: The fee structure is relatively on the expensive side, owing to BITS is a private institute. The infrastructure and opportunities provided to every student are worth all the money you spend. The fee per semester is almost 1.5 lacs, including your hostel and mess expenses. Students can add Rs. 20,000 per semester as their personal expense. In total, it becomes 3.4 lacs per year. However, you can avail a scholarship easily at BITS. There is a merit scholarship for the people who are in the top scorers of a batch. Merit cum need scholarships are very easy to get if your family income is less than 10 lacs. You can get an 80% scholarship if your CGPA is 8.5. Even the people with 6.5 CGPA get a 20% scholarship. Loans are easy to get, and there are various schemes from different banks to get you a loan.

Value for money. BITS PILANI - IT'S MAGIC.
Placements: Around 95% students got placed. Generally, students prefer to go for higher studies from India and from abroad. Average package is around 6.5 Lacs for core and for non-core it is 9-10 Lacs, the highest is 14 Lacs approximately. Profiles include consultancy, IT sector, finance. Practice school are a part of Bits in which internships are offered to the students.
Infrastructure: The Campus is huge and very beautiful. Library is very big and it is very easy to find the necessary books when needed. Labs are well-equipped. Classrooms in NABs are air conditioned. The quality of mess food is good. One can use BITS SSMS app for mess menu, it changes after certain days. There are food outlets also like ANC (All Night Canteen) which stays opens till 2am, Looters, Amul parlour, Food ministry, connaught etc. Redis is also there, if one has missed mess, then they can go to redis. Every bhawan (Hostel) has its own redis. Medical Centre is available inside the campus. For sports, Gym G and SAC (Student activities centre) are there. You can play badminton, table tennis, squash, lawn tennis, and many more games. Each bhawan has its own playground and common rooms.
Faculty: Each department has highly qualified and well experienced professors. We have Ph.D. scholars as Teaching assistants in labs. Grading system is very tough here in BITS. Apart from your course subjects, you can do minor courses in finance, Data Science, etc., and to fulfill course requirements you have to do some more courses like Huels, Deals, Opels. Professors teach using powerpoint slides and be prepare for surprise quizzes.

BITS is a good college, and you can go for it.
Placements: In B. Pharma, most students prefer to go for higher studies, but due to Covid-19, many of them sat for placements and got placed. The average salary package offered would be around 6 LPA. Most of the companies which come for other branches were open for our degree also. Everyone who wanted to get internships got it. But this year, very few PPOs were offered overall in all branches. Top roles offered are in IT and consulting.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available in our college are great. Many food options are available. Sports and medicinal facilities are also available. Faculty members are helpful and provide the right guidance in every problem. The library is accessible to all with books of all genres. Acad block has air-conditioners, so students generally study in the library during summer-time.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are awesome. This course provides basic knowledge in building a career in pharma. Students are free to choose among various opportunities which they get. Sometimes B.Pharma students may land a job in IT or consultancy or a bank. BITS makes students ready for tough situations.
Other: BITS has magic. There is nothing to improve. Extracurricular activities are also well organised.

    BITS Pilani- it's magic!
Placements: Around 70% students in the batch got placed in non-core sectors like finance, IT and consulting. Packages are low for core pharma companies and very few come placements. Also, the roles they offer are more of analytics for both B. Pharma and M. Pharma. Average package for non-core is around 9-11 LPA, while for core it's generally low around 4.5-6 LPA. 2nd year internships are compulsorily offered by the institute to all as Practice school-1. While students search for the internships by their own in 1st and 3rd year. Companies come to hire students for 3rd year internships in generally IT and finance sectors.
Infrastructure: There's no flaw in the infrastructure and the facilities offered. Library, sports, labs everything is great. Apart form mess, there are various food outlets within and outside the campus. Mess food is okay, and the menu is available on the SSMS app. Other than that, ppl can have food at ANC, Connaught, IC, Looters and the redis outside the hostels.
Faculty: Courses are flexible, enabling you to even do a minor in finance, physics or arts/humanities depending upon the open electives you chose beginning from the 3rd year. Even within pharma, if people want to move towards the bio line, they can opt for courses offered by Dept. Of biology, or can purely do the courses from the Dept. Of Pharmacy. Choice is all theirs, and everyone gets to follow what they truly like, and which is gonna help them lead a directional academic life after graduation.
Other: The quality of fest is amazing, putting into so much efforts for what speakers, singers, comedians and sportsmen to invite in the annual technical, cultural and sports events. Clubs and departments are enough to keep the non-academic life busy, and they are for all the activities, just name them. Both merit-cum and merit-cum-need scholarships are provided for the students based on the GPA.
