Placements: The placements were not regular as proper placements are not done for the BA courses and the few seniors who got placements from the college job fair or spot placement cells are not well-paid as the roles offered were of some BPO companies, which hardly gave them 7000-10000 per month. The internship rates were 10% from the college, and 30% got from somewhere else, while the others went for further studies or sat back for appearing in the government exams.

Placements: After graduation, most of the students goes to other universities for higher studies. Some other students find jobs of government or public companies, and there are many ex-students of B.N. Mahavidyalaya working in top-ranked government jobs. However, there are some unsuccessful students here as well.

Placements: If you are in the IT or CSE branch, the placement might not be an issue. But, the students getting admitted to CE and AEIE have the worst experience as they have meek chances of getting placed on the campus as the core companies are a rarity over here, so the students from the core branches tend to join either IT-based firms, BPOs or finance-based firms.

Placements: Honestly, the placement is very poor in this college as not more than 2 or 3 companies visited the campus each year. Since no company visited in our final year which is until November 2017. In the last few years, TCS and Tech Mahindra visited the campus to recruit our seniors, but the percentage of placed students is quite low at around 20%. The campus is a part of University of Burdwan campus. The college has a lush green campus. The library is computerized. The library receives 20 national and 30 international journals. The college campus is pretty good. The lab facilities are also quiet decent despite the fact that some of the labs do not have air-conditioning. The faculty is a little uncooperative and does not give enough time to students after class in case of any doubt. The hostels are pathetic including the food and health conditions, do not have free Wi-Fi zone. This college is under the governance of The University of Burdwan which has produced some of the best scholars of India. The college infrastructure is awesome. It was fully functional labs for every department. Teachers are very co-operative. If you are opting to join this college you should stay in college hostel.
