Not satisfied with the faculty, and there is no placement cell as well.
Placements: 40 students were selected. No package was offered since the placement cell is the worst. If a person gets an MBA degree from a reputed college, then there are good chances of getting hired by good companies. Very few teachers help students with whom they don't share a good rapport. The administration is very biased.
Infrastructure: First of all, there was no hostel when I joined. But the college has recently started one at the beginning of 2024. Since I had my house nearby, I didn't have to live in the hostel and am not aware of the facilities. But I have heard from students that it isn't that good. First of all, there is no canteen, and students don't have access to Wi-Fi.
Faculty: A few of the teachers were good, knowledgeable, and helpful. But honestly, most of the teachers are very biased. You will not be industry-ready after completing your MBA here since they provide you with only basic knowledge; there isn't much practical learning. Semester exams are just too hectic. First, they have CIAs, 3 times in 6 months, and then the final semester exam. In between, the university burdens students with back-to-back presentations and projects. Everything gets too tiring for a student to handle, and there isn't much help from the teachers.
Other: An MBA is something that has always had hype. People believe that right after getting an MBA degree, they'll get a job. But that is not the case today. Skills are very important these days. Even if you have an MBA degree but lack practical knowledge and skills, it's very hard to get a job.

Infrastructure is decent but the hostel facility is not provided for the MBA students as of now.
Placements: About 50% of the students were placed in our course, according to me. The highest package was 2 LPA, the lowest package was 1 LPA, and the average package was 50,000 PA. These are the approximate packages offered in our course. The companies that recruited were ITC, Tata, Jio, and Airtel. About 20% of students got internships at JK Bank, Airtel, and HDFC. The roles offered were marketing manager and executive manager.
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure was good. Classrooms were decent, and the library was also well-managed. The computer labs were also great. The library is pretty, with a nice environment. But we didn't have Wi-Fi available on our campus. There was no hostel facility provided, but the medical facilities and sports activities were good. Students would participate in all these activities and enjoy them.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers were helpful enough and were well-qualified. The quality of teaching was also nice. The course is relevant and makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams were all implied-question-based, which made the exams pretty tough. The pass percentage is 50%.
Other: I chose this course for better opportunities. The best thing about my course is that it provided me with a platform to gain confidence in myself. Hostel facilities should be provided for the students who come from far-flung areas to study. Yes, my university is involved in all these activities.

Placements and teaching staff are very good but lack in infrastructure.
Placements: Placements in our university are at par than any other institutions in the valley. The management tries every possible measure to ensure placements for students every year. Many companies like HDFC, ITC, etc., visit our campus for placements, and the stipend they provide are at par.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our university is very poor as they operate in rented buildings. The college is building a new building in a new area, and that will be completed soon. Hostel rooms are okay. The university has Wi-Fi facility available. The food served in the canteen is good. I faced issues regarding the infrastructure of the university.
Faculty: Faculty members in the university are highly qualified. They are very helpful to students. They used teaching methods like case studies, assignments, project, powerpoint presentation, etc. The course curriculum was beneficial. The college provides the best teaching staff compared to any other institution.

Satisfied with Central University of Kashmir despite they face all odds.
Placements: The placement cell in our university is very active and every year provides an opportunity for the students to get placed in reputed companies. More than 80% of my seniors from Management department are currently working with top corporate hubs. The average salary in the last campus placement was 25000-35000. The companies which visited our campus were Decathlon sports India, ITC, HDFC Bank among others. The roles which were offered ranged from HR managers to Financial analysts, From Operational managers to marketing managers. The internship which our university provides is treat to have. Almost all students were blessed with internships with reputed corporates. The average stipend was 10000.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at present is very poor because university is temporarily functioning from rented buildings but enough efforts are being to shift this university to the site where it will have it's permanent campus. But yes at present the university offers free MHRD Wi-Fi, good library, Essential medical facilities. The library despite all odds is functioning very good. Hostel rooms are good with added advantages of Wi-Fi and indoor sports facilities. But yes at present we are facing infrastructure related problems.
Faculty: The faculty in our university are guided by huge intellect with great academic knowledge at their disposal. The teaching quality remains very good and efforts are made to keep the pedagogy as relevant as it could be. Teaching method is combination of case-methods, Active learning, Presentations, Assignments. The student to faculty ratio is 1:15. Yes our university offers industrial tours as a part of curriculum. The curriculum was very useful and exposes the student to the current happenings, relevant issues, Pragmatic things.
