M.Sc. in Mathematics - Batch of 2023
5
5Placements5Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Overall, the best University for an M.Sc. in Mathematics Course.
Placements: Almost 70% of the students got placed in the college. Half of the students chose to pursue their Masters. The college offered a lot of work. Several companies like Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Google, and some other IT companies visited the university for recruitment. The average salary was about Rs. 15 LPA. 66% of students get employment opportunities. The top roles offered are Statistician, Actuary, and more.
Infrastructure: The resources are the best, with well-spaced classrooms. The library is also good. Some of the departments do not have Wi-Fi, and the laboratories are good enough to keep up with both practical and theoretical information. There are many games and sports available, such as judo, wrestling, table tennis, chess, badminton, volleyball, basketball, soccer, cricket, kabaddi, cross country, and cycling.
Faculty: The teachers in our college are very knowledgeable, qualified, and helpful to every student. They helped students achieve so much in their lives. This curriculum was highly relevant and reasonable. I liked the way teachers worked because they had good manners. The semester exam is easy to score high on, and the pass rate is 67%.

M.Sc. in Chemistry - Batch of 2024
5
5Placements5Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Overall best University for M.Sc. In Chemistry Course.
Placements: The college has a good reputation with employers, and more than 80% of students are placed each year. The highest package available is 21 LPA, and the typical package size is 14 LPA. 79% of students receive job prospects. Some of the top recruiters include SGS India, Intertek, and Bureau Veritas. My course offers careers such as Quality Control Analyst and Formulation Chemist.
Infrastructure: The university has a good infrastructure for courses. The classrooms are equipped with mixed technology, and there are large computer labs with software licenses. The two-story library has some good books but is lacking in textbooks. The hostel is well located inside the campus, but only the two top students in each batch can stay there. The food is good, but the menu is pretty much the same every week.
Faculty: All of the professors are PhDs with extensive knowledge in their subjects. The teaching methods are very different from other universities I've attended. The curriculum is solid and prepares students for careers, but there is still room for improvement. The courses are challenging but not overly difficult. The pass rate is over 70%.

Master of Physical Education (M.P.Ed.) - Batch of 2023

Great opportunity and support.
Placements: The top recruiters who pay the highest package are generally private companies that own gyms and other types of training centers. The highest package was offered for 3 lacs per annum. Mostly 70% of the students get placed; the maximum placement happens in elementary school.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good; we have gyms where we practice, and other than that, we have yoga rooms. There are a few programs wherein industry trainers come, and we also visit through college. The hostel is very good, clean, and hygienic, and food is provided in the mess.
Faculty: The teachers are very resourceful; they have enriched our experience and knowledge and share it with us, trying to inculcate that passion in us through their interactive way of teaching. Generally, the passing rate has been above 80%, and the semester pattern is followed.

M.A. in English - Batch of 2024

5Placements5Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Overall best University for M.A. in English Course.
Placements: Almost 92% of all students are offered placements, with an average pay of 16 LPA. Byju's, Vedantu, and Unacademy provide quantitative tours. CUP placement head assists students greatly in finding suitable positions in the best organizations. Placements in CUP are at an all-time high in 2022.
Infrastructure: The university provides a good amount of practical expertise. Classrooms are outfitted with modern amenities to help you generate new ideas and express yourself. There is complete freedom to express your opinions and ideas. The library has sophisticated facilities. The staff is extremely helpful and caring.
Faculty: Central University of Punjab professors are excellent and assist students at every stage of their study. Each faculty member teaches to the best of their abilities in their respective courses. Faculty members clear all your doubts. The course curriculum is appropriate. The semester exam is not particularly challenging; the paper is of medium difficulty. The pass rate is 66%.

M.Sc. in Geography - Batch of 2024
5
5Placements5Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Overall the best university for M.Sc. in geography course.
Placements: The average salary package offered is around 7 LPA - 15 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 22 LPA. Each year, around 77% of the batch is placed. Companies such as ESRI India, AECOM, and Arcadis visit the university for placements. An admissions committee controls all of these activities. Almost 76% of students get job prospects. Top programs include Urban Planner and Cartographer, among others.
Infrastructure: Our campus is located distant from the city, especially in Punjab. Every campus has Wi-Fi. The infrastructure of the college is very interesting. The hostel on campus is open to both boys and girls. These include classrooms, libraries, and hallways. The hotel amenities are excellent, however, the food served to students is super. Students can also access medical and sports amenities here.
Faculty: Our faculty members are world-class and extremely competent. The teaching method is effective. I did not acquire any technological skills. Their teaching expertise is invaluable, and they are all gifted and hardworking. We encounter numerous challenges owing to a lack of resources. Semester tests are moderate, with a pass rate of 73%.

M.A. in Sociology - Batch of 2025
3.2
2Placements3Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
Satisfied with the faculty, placements not good.
Placements: Professors are highly skilled and well-educated in their domains and provide a good opportunity for research and field knowledge. The placement cell is not that much established in this university, but the research field is above average, and chances of getting your paper published are also possible in most cases.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and the hostel facilities are very average. The rooms are shared between four people of different departments. The washroom facilities are also decent; workers clean them at least once every day. Food in the mess is like your regular home-cooked food, but the canteens are not available here near the hostel. You have to walk a lot to get basic groceries also.
Faculty: Faculty members are very knowledgeable and helpful also, but the exam curriculum is more like that we had in schools. Regular surprise tests, assignments, mid-term exams, and end-term exams. Even moral exams are a part of the curriculum here. Access to reading and books is good.
Other: Fests are less, but you'll find diversity in the crowd here.
