NIRF 2024 Rankings are out. As per the latest NIRF 2024 rankings, CEPT University Ahmedabad ranks #6 under the category 'Architecture and Planning'.

UCEED registration 2025 with a late fee is ended for CEPT University Ahmedabad admission to the B.Des course. The UCEED 2025 exam is scheduled for Jan 19, 2025.

A few more updates are given below:

The MAT 2024 registration process for the December session is ongoing for PBT and CBT Phase 2 exams; the last dates are Dec 7 and Dec 15, 2024, respectively. Further, MAT 2024 CBT Phase 1, PBT, and CBT Phase 2 exams will be scheduled on Dec 7, Dec 14, and Dec 22, 2024, respectively.
The CAT 2024 answer key has been released for admission to the MBA/PGDM courses. Candidates can download the answer key by using their login credentials on the official website. The CAT 2024 result is expected to be released by Dec 20, 2024.
CMAT 2025 registrations are open for admission to the MBA, PGDM, and MMS courses; the last date to apply is Dec 13, 2024. The CMAT 2025 exam will be held on Jan 25, 2025.

Overall best university for a Master's in Urban Design course.

Placements: CEPT University is one of the best colleges for designing courses. Every year, about 70-80% of the students get a campus placement in our university. Our average offer ranges from 10 LPA to 25 LPA. Key recruiters are Studio Symbiosis, SWA, Morphosis, HCP Design, Morphogenesis, etc. They offer high-quality services for Transportation Planner, Urban Designer, and more.

Infrastructure: CEPT University boasts advanced technological facilities. The library is of an outstanding class and one of the best in the country. There are so many books to choose from, and everything is included. The hostels are within walking distance of the campus, and students often choose hostels over rented apartments.

Faculty: The instructors were very qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable enough. Good teaching is the best, and teachers are happy to answer our questions. This curriculum is appropriate because the students were trained to be entrepreneurs. There is also a workshop where we explore new ideas and can execute them afterwards. Semester exams are easy. The pass rate is 74%.

Placements: The highest and average salary packages offered by recruiters are 22 LPA and 3.6 LPA. All our students got placed in various companies depending on their skills and interests. Infrastructure: Our college supports various courses in different disciplines. The overall infrastructure of our college is really good. We are served with hygienic and tasty food. There are certain restrictions on the movement of students in and out of the campus. Also, all the medical facilities are available within the campus.

Placements: CEPT University is one of the best college for the designing courses. Every year around 60-70% of the students get on campus placement at our college. Average package offered for our was between 5 to 7 LPA. Various corporate and government bodies visits this college for the on campus placements. Students also gets internship at this college with handsome stipend.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure available for our structural design course was well maintained and developed at this college. All the necessary facilities were available for the students in the college campus. Wi-Fi, labs, library, canteen, classrooms, halls, sports complex, hostel, medical etc. Facilities were available for the college students.

Faculty: Faculty of the CEPT University was highly qualified and knowledgeable for our course. Professors of this college were helpful and supportive to the students. Their way of teaching was good and makes the student understand all the concepts. Course curriculum followed in the college was relevant and makes the students industry ready. Placements: Our university stands for good placement records. Nearly 99% of students got placed in 2024. Our students found placements in various disciplines based on their passion, skills, and interests. The highest salary package offered by recruiters is 13.5 Lacs per annum.

Infrastructure: The laboratories are well maintained with maximum number of systems. Air conditioned classrooms with smart classes and projectors. As there is a open auditorium present at the centre of our college. There is a big spacious library present within our college.

Faculty: Our teachers were highly intellectual and supportive. They were experienced upto 10 years. They were highly qualified one. They were highly helpful while building projects. Because of their excellence in academic performance we got good University results.

My experience at CEPT University.

Placements: The university has a placement committee. The placement depends on the department, as the faculty of planning has 5 departments, namely urban planning, urban design, urban infrastructure, urban housing, and urban transport planning. The majority of companies prefer planners. May it be infrastructure, housing or transport. The university has a common CV template for students. 70% of the students are placed per department.

Infrastructure: The university campus is located over 12 acres of land and is well-equipped with all basic amenities, such as IT services, smart classrooms, labs, a cafeteria, a library, a hall, a conference hall, an auditorium, Wi-Fi, etc. The college has a good infrastructure. The library is a repository of wonderful books and a lot of useful resources. The Wi-Fi network is wonderful. Classrooms and labs are extremely well-equipped. The University has hostel facilities for both girls and boys. The University provides hostel facilities with basic amenities such as mess, TV, common room, water purifiers, laundry service, security & surveillance systems, etc.

Faculty: Being at the postgraduate level, the lectures are more qualitative than quantitative. The faculty is mostly Ph.D. holders for theory classes. And with a minimum experience of 5 years of professional practice. There is one faculty member per 12 students. And a programme chair who looks up to the whole batch. With a teaching assistant for the help of the faculty. The course curriculum is specific to Indian sites and projects. And it makes us ready for the professional work. The exam structure is more about understanding the concept. So mostly we have open book exams. And assignment. Jury reviews are the final output we produce. And then the portfolio submission of the studio work. The course, in its initial stages of the semester, is purely research-based.

Other: Extracurricular activities are organized by the college every now and then in the form of seminars organized for every subject. A crowd at the college is great in many ways. I got to explore my hidden talent and I met new people and made new contacts.
