CEPT Exam Pattern 2024: Know Marking Scheme & Exam Duration

CEPT exam pattern for Bachelor of Interior Design course is such that aspirants need to appear for an aptitude test. However, candidates need to note that CEPT admission in Bachelor of Interior Design is a three tiered process and candidates need to clear these three stages in order to be shortlisted for admission in Bachelor of Interior Design course offered at CEPT University.

Stage 1: Scrutiny of eligibility

Stage 2: CEPT entrance exam (aptitude test)

Stage 3: Preparation of merit list

The aptitude test for CEPT admissions comprises of two modules. Questions asked in Module 1 will be related to drawing based on visual perception and Module 2 will have multiple choice questions (MCQs).

CEPT Exam Pattern for Bachelor of Interior Design

Module 1: Drawing based on Visual Perception

Questions in this module will be drawing based on the theme of:

• Perception
• Observation
• Creativity
• Imagination
• Analysis

Module 2: MCQs

Questions in this module will from topics like:

• Logical Reasoning
• Basic Principles of Maths and Science
• Social and Cultural Awareness
• Design Awareness
• Problem Solving
• English Communication

It may be noted that CEPT University admissions 2020 for Bachelor of Interior Design programme will be done on the basis of a candidate’s HSC score and performance in CEPT entrance exam.

Note: Candidates are informed that GUJCET/ JEE/ NATA scores will note be considered in the evaluation process. CEPT merit list will be prepared on the basis of an aspirant’s HSC score and aptitude test performance only.
To secure admission in CEPT University, candidates need to appear in all the admission stages conducted by CEPT University in order to be included in the merit list.
