Chitkara University - View of an average hostel student.

Placements: Around 60-70% of students get placed every year. The highest salary package offered was 1.1 CPA in 2023 by Amazon. The lowest salary package offered is around 3 LPA - 4 LPA. The average salary package offered is 8 LPA. There's not a high percentage of students getting paid internships, but most of them secure good jobs.

Infrastructure: There is clean and good infrastructure. It is a small but spacious university. We have clean classrooms. The class strength is 60 students, barely filling 3 rows completely. Our classrooms are huge. The hostel food is not up to the mark, but it is eatable. Sports facilities are available like basketball, badminton, etc.

Faculty: Irregular exam timings in not preferred by most of the students. There is no proper time for conducting exams. They happen randomly within the semester. Exams are not very difficult. The rest depends upon your level of preparation. Most of the students pass exams.Teachers are audible. They are just fine.

Other: Artificial intelligence is in boom and will provide many good job opportunities in the future, due to this reason, I opted for this course and also due to my genuine interest in coding. Due to the high student intake, the college crowd is not that good. The rest of you should know with whom to spend your time in college. Fests are the best over here, students enjoy the most during these fests. Popular personalities are invited. There is nothing in the college surroundings.

Placements: Our batch achieved 100% placements, with companies like Razorpay, Juspay, and Palo Alto offering roles. The highest package was 65 LPA, while the lowest package stood at 4.65 LPA, ensuring a wide range of opportunities for all students. Additionally, 95% of students secured internships with reputed organizations such as Axio, GeekyAnts, Alet Enterprise, and MAQ Software. These internships provided practical exposure and significantly contributed to making students industry-ready.

Infrastructure: The course offers high-speed Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, air-conditioned classrooms with projectors, and a comprehensive library. The hostel provides classrooms, hygienic food, 24/7 medical facilities, and sports amenities like cricket, football, and badminton.

Faculty: The faculty is highly qualified, knowledgeable, and approachable, ensuring effective learning. The curriculum is well-designed, and relevant, and focuses on industry readiness with practical exposure. Semester exams are moderately challenging but fair, with a high pass percentage of around 95%.

Other: Reason for choosing the course: Practical focus and strong placement record. Best aspects: Industry-relevant curriculum, excellent faculty, and 100% placement rate. Areas for improvement: More hands-on projects and updated lab equipment. Events and fests: Regular tech fests, cultural events, and hackathons. Campus crowd: Diverse and collaborative student community.

Placements: Only 10-15 % student were placed in our course Highest package 12-15 lpa Lowest package 3-4 lpa offered Tcs, airtel and some new startups 10-15% students got internship in tcs and some new startups Data analytics , web developer , website testing

Infrastructure: Wifi is avalable but not working Labs are small Computers are not working Library is very messy Class room are so small ac's are not working Hostel food is average Hostel guards are to rude Mess food is worst Only infra structure in good in this campus

Faculty: Teachers are qualifies but not helpful for students Poor teaching quality Course curriculum is not relevant in my opinion it is not make the student industry ready Msts are easy but the final papers are very tough Pass percentage is 40-45% but it is not sufficient

Other: Nothing is best in this course No fest for day scholars

I think this is the best university in Punjab.

Placements: Almost 70% of students got placed. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, JP Morgan, Oyo, and Zomato. Technical and management roles are offered. The highest salary package offered is 52 LPA. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA. Many students got internships in finance companies.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The university looks very good and clean. Hostels are very clean. Rooms are very good. The hostel food is also good Classrooms of the university are good and well-maintained. Overall it is good. Strictness is high. This campus is very well maintained.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and qualified. They have great knowledge of their subjects. They are supportive and give many instructions to students. They are very friendly. The teaching style is very good. They are very mature in their fields.

Other: There are more than 50 courses, and all are good. The annual fest named Rangreez is good.

Good Faculty, Decent Facilities, and Scope for Industry Readiness.

Placements: As far as I know, Chitkara University placements are very good; above 85%+ students got placed this year, and companies offer varying packages depending upon your skills. Also, the internship percentage is quite impressive. In the 6th semester, companies start to visit the college and give a decent stipend for interns.

Infrastructure: The department offers spacious classrooms, Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, and a resource-rich library. Hostels are decent, with basic amenities. Mess food is average but hygienic; the canteen provides snacks. Medical facilities are accessible, and sports grounds are well-maintained.

Faculty: The faculty is knowledgeable, approachable, and supportive. The curriculum balances theory and practical, making it moderately industry-relevant but needing an update. Exams are fair yet challenging; consistent study is key. The pass percentage ranges from 80-90%.

Placements are good here in comparison to other private colleges .

Placements: Our college provides good placements every year. Many big companies recruit from our college regularly, including MNCs. Companies take a written test and interview before selecting the students. Internships are also provided by the college. So placements are good in our course, with an average package of 4 LPA.

Infrastructure: Hostels are affordable, and all facilities are available like laundry, gyms, etc. Wi-Fi is available for students and faculty members. Classrooms are fully ventilated. The overall infrastructure of our course is good. Food of mess is also good, according to me. Sports facilities are available.

Faculty: Our course is well designed and it gives practical knowledge about industry. Teachers are well qualified and experienced. They are available to help anytime and they support students. Exams are not very difficult. Mentors are also very good in our course. Overall, the teaching quality is good.

Other: The campus is surrounded by beautiful villages.
