Review of Chitkara University Himachal Pradesh.

Placements: Approximately 90% of students got placed. Some tech and non-tech companies give opportunities to students to do work with them like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Flipkart, Amazon, Code Quotient, Accenture, HCL, etc. Companies provide opportunities to work with them. Their work culture is really very good.

Infrastructure: There are two types of rooms available in the hostel. There are 4 seater rooms with air conditioners and attached washrooms. Another one has 4 seater rooms with coolers and common washrooms. Wi-Fi connections are there in every corner of the campus. The college has its own library with a capacity of 150-200 students.

Faculty: Faculty members are good. In the college, there are many extracurricular activities held. College gives many opportunities to explore your potential. The college slogan is to explore your potential. The college provides the best opportunities for students.

Great college for campus placements and college events.

Placements: The placements are pretty good at Chitkara University. The highest package offered in our batch was 36 LPA, and the average package was between 5-6 LPA. Almost everyone who was eligible was placed. Some of the popular companies were Razorpay, OYO, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, and many more. The roles included software developer, web developer, and sales.

Infrastructure: The hostel is decent at Chitkara University. There are 4 people per room in the hostel, and you are provided with Wi-Fi. The food is good on some days and not that good on others, but you can eat from the canteen if you don’t like mess food. There is one dispensary on campus in case you’re not well. There are many sports you can play, like cricket, badminton, and table tennis.

Faculty: The teachers are really helpful and have knowledge of the subjects they’re teaching. The curriculum teaches the technologies that are in demand so that the students are ready for the industry. The college examinations are not that difficult. If you have studied decently, you can still score good marks and get a good CGPA.

Other: I chose this course because the IT industry has more opportunities than any other field. You can go into roles like software developer, web developer, or non-tech roles like sales representative. About campus life, there are regular events like hackathons, DJ nights, and standup comedy throughout the year.

Best infrastructure and placements .

Placements: College provides lots of opportunities for placements. Companies like HCL, Curefit, Concentrix recruit from our course with an average package of 6 LPA. Students have to score above 7 CGPA to get good placement offers. Internships are also provided in good companies according to the interests of the students.

Infrastructure: Campus is lush green and beautiful. Classrooms are fully ventilated and labs are well-equipped. Hygiene is well maintained in our classes and labs. Food of the mess is also good and reasonable in price. Hostels are located within the campus which is a good thing. Campus life is good overall.

Faculty: Our course is comprehensive and practical. Teachers are friendly and available to help anytime. Industrial visits are also organised regularly in our course. All the teachers are well qualified and skilled in teaching. Exams are not very difficult, textbooks are enough for preparation.

Other: All the festivals are celebrated here.

I am totally satisfied with Chitkara University as this is one of the best universities.

Placements: In recent years, about 92% of the students were placed by campus placement drives. The highest package was 35 LPA and the average package was 6 LPA. Microsoft, Adobe, and nearby max students got opportunities, and most students got placements in companies like Infosys, Microsoft, IBM, etc. The roles were Full Stack Development and Software Development. .

Infrastructure: Every classroom is well-equipped with AC and Wi-Fi all the time. There is electricity 24x7 on the campus. In the library, we can find everything, and there is a good environment to study there. The hostels are fully comfortable with 24x7 electricity, water, laundry facilities, and hygienic and healthy meals. A dispensary is available for every student 24x7 for medical needs.

Faculty: The faculty at Chitkara University is highly qualified and helpful. Their teaching behavior is different from other colleges, and they take care of their students. Yes, the course we are pursuing is highly relevant, and we can surely say they are making us ready for the industry. If you study and prepare notes, it is very easy to clear exams on the first attempt.

Other: Chitkara University hosts different fests, and keeping in mind the studies and fests, they balance everything. Someone choosing any course here won't regret it, as this campus is away from the hustle and bustle and provides a clean environment.

Placements: About 90% of students are placed in our university. The highest package offered was 50 lakhs, the lowest was 5 lakhs, and the average package is 6-7 lakhs. Top recruiters include Amazon, Infosys, and many more. About 85% of students got internships, and the top roles are data analyst and web developer.

Infrastructure: Our department features modern classrooms equipped with audio-visual technology, smart boards, and comfortable seating arrangements. The hostel facilities are generally well-maintained, offering clean and comfortable rooms with basic amenities. Each room is furnished with essentials such as beds, study tables, and storage spaces. Common areas, including lounges and study rooms, provide spaces for socializing and group work.

Faculty: The faculty members are generally helpful, approachable, and dedicated to student success. Most teachers hold advanced degrees and have relevant industry experience, which enriches their teaching. Overall, the combination of qualified faculty, a relevant curriculum, and a supportive learning environment contributes positively to student outcomes.

CHITKARA Himachal Review

Placements: They claim 100 percent placement, but it's not true. I think approximately 60-70 percent get placed. The lowest package is around 3 LPA, and the highest is around 50 LPA. They get placed in companies like Infosys, IBM, Microsoft, Google, Adobe, and many other reputed companies.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, but the Wi-Fi sometimes does not work well. Some labs are also not good; the library is fine, and other facilities are also good. The hostel is average. The food in the mess is good for 3-4 days. Medical facilities are also available, and there is a club for sports as well.

Faculty: Exams are held every month. Some teachers are good, but most of them only force students to study for exams and focus on the old material, not practical applications. The curriculum is somewhat relevant. In this college, the only thing missing is a coding environment; there are students who are very good, but there's no environment to support that.

Other: I'm doing BE in CSE as I've had an interest in coding. I've been into tech for 5-6 years.
