Good in this place there is no great option like this.
Placements: There are average placements. The majority of placements take place in NVS and private schools, but after COVID, there is no direct placement and students work in different schools. The average package of the students is 30,000/-. However, the majority of students are looking for government jobs.

It is one of the best universities in Bihar.
Placements: Almost 5-10% of students got placed in our course. This course is mainly government job oriented. It is a mixture of a liberal course and a professional course. We can easily become a teacher in any school.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. Wi-Fi is available on our campus. It also provides a big library with adequate books. Hostel facilities are good. The food quality is decent. Medical facilities are available. Playground is also available for different sports like football, cricket, basketball, badminton, and kabaddi.
Faculty: Our teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are not very tough. We can pass easily if we study well. The pass percentage is 85-100%.
Other: This course has value for the money. It also gives students two degrees in a short period. Events and fests are not very good.

Review of CUSB - Central University of South Bihar.
Placements: Currently, the placements for B.A. B.Ed., B.Sc. B.Ed., are very low as only 2-3 students out of 100 got placed in good private schools, that too around two years ago. After that, no placement is observed. Since the university is new, it's taking time to manage these things.
Infrastructure: As of now, there are two smart classes for the students of the education department, and they work absolutely fine. The classrooms of CUSB are good. In addition, the university owns a huge central library and a reference library with around thousands of books, current newspapers, magazines, books for competitive exams etc. It provides propers learner-friendly environment with air-conditioning facilities. The hostel rooms are in good condition, and proper hygiene is maintained with much care. Food in the mess is slightly disappointing, and one needs to visit college canteen much often to get food. University students have their medical cards, and they are treated free of cost by the doctor of university. University Campus has a lot of free space, and the construction process is still going on, so a lot more is yet to be observed about its infrastructure.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, well qualified, and helpful. They tend to help those students who seek their help irrespective of the time frame. The exams are conducted on time according to academic calendar schedule. The curriculum is good but needs some improvement. Semester exams are not very tough. One can easily pass if studied properly.
Other: I opted for this course because I wanted to pursue B.Ed after 12th, and this university offers B.A. and B.Ed courses as well. The best thing about this course is that it offers a wide range of subjects which help in holistic development and enrich students' knowledge. The administration needs to be improved because it does not work effectively. This university has a Bihar crowd, and nowadays, most of the undergraduate students are from Gaya only, i.e., the native place of the university. I am a resident of Bihar, but this university should expand its scale so that students from various parts of India come here, which will help students to understand different people and their cultures.

It is an average university, because there are minimum placements.
Placements: Placements are not good, and only 10% of students are placed. The average salary offered ranges from Rs 10,000 per month to Rs 15,000 per month. Local schools visit our campus for recruitment, and all offers are for teaching.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Smart classes are available for study. Every building provides Wi-Fi, and its speed is high. Laboratories are available for practical. Sports are also provided. Hostel facility is good, but the food quality is not good.
Faculty: Professors are very helpful and knowledgeable. Our course curriculum is good. Students should have a practical approach, so this course curriculum needs some changes. Semester exams are easy to pass. The question level is moderate, and one can pass the exam easily if they study well.
Other: I chose this course, because I want to be a teacher. This course provides me the opportunity to become a teacher after 12th. This syllabus is very vast as students have to study 9 papers, so I wish to reduce some. Fests are held, and scholarships are also provided.

Our university is very good, and students should take admission in it.
Placements: As this university is new and currently it is in a growing phase. So, the placements are average. In B.A. and B.Ed there are 60 students, but only 4-5 students are placed in private schools.
Infrastructure: Our university has good infrastructure and hostel facilities. They have smart classes, a library, high-speed Wi-Fi, computer laboratories, science laboratories, a media center, and a sports ground. They are also going to add some other facilities very soon.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, well qualified, and helpful. The exams are conducted on time. The curriculum is also good, but needs some improvement. The semester exams are not very tough. One can easily pass, if they study properly.

I am not satisfied because of its teachers, placements record, and environment.
Placements: In this college, placements were not good. Students had to find their way on their own. Very few i.e 1-2 students got placed, because of the efforts of this university's placements cell. No one was placed in our batch. Few students got placed but all the effort was their own, it may improve in the future.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was good and will improve, because it was still under construction. Basic facilities like library, medical, hostel, and classrooms were good enough. The computer facilities were good, and the classrooms provides air-conditioned. The food quality was average.
Faculty: There was a great disparity among teachers. Some were good and some were not good. This university has also a good track record for placing teachers through back doors. This university had also lost a few court cases in this matter. Semester exams were very easy.
Other: This college was value for money, because it was centrally funded and students can do the course at a very reasonable fee. Co-curricular had very limited scope till now.

Q:   Is B.A. B.Ed at Central University of South Bihar worth the investment?

    A:
    {Source: B.A. B.Ed students & alumni}

Is B.A. B.Ed at Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) worth the investment?

Based on student reviews and feedback, here's what you need to know:

    Positive Aspects:

    * Good Infrastructure: CUSB has modern classrooms equipped with audio-visual materials, a well-stocked library, and high-speed internet access.
    * Well-Qualified Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable, helpful, and highly qualified, providing a good learning experience.
    * Holistic Development: The course focuses on holistic development, offering a wide range of subjects and helping students develop their skills and knowledge.
    * Value for Money: Being a centrally-funded institution, the fees are reasonable compared to other institutions offering similar programs.
    * Campus Life: The campus has plenty of open spaces, playgrounds, and recreational facilities, making it a pleasant environment for students.

    Challenges:

    * Placement Record: While some students have reported getting placements, the overall placement rate is relatively low (around 10%). Many students rely on self-efforts to secure employment.
    * Limited Internship Opportunities: Although internships are mandatory, many students report that these opportunities are limited and unpaid.
    * Teaching Profession-Oriented: The course is primarily geared towards producing teachers, which might limit career prospects outside of the education sector.
    * Food Quality: Student reviews suggest that the food quality in the hostel is average, leaving room for improvement.

    Conclusion:
While CUSB offers several strengths, including good infrastructure and faculty, the placement record and limited internship opportunities might be concerns for prospective students. Additionally, the course being heavily focused on producing teachers might limit career options beyond the education sector. Considering these factors, whether the programme is "worth the investment" ultimately depends on individual goals and priorities. If you're willing to put in extra effort to secure employment and adapt to the teaching profession-oriented focus, CUSB could be a suitable choice.
