Good infrastructure and average campus life.

Placements: I'm a BBA student, and I don't think my college provides placement in this course. It does provide really good placements in B.Tech. As a first-year student, I don't know much about the exact percentage of students getting internships or jobs, but I believe in working on ourselves instead of expecting from college.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty and infrastructure.

Placements: There are 30% of students placed. And the highest package is 24 lacs per annum and the lowest package is 6 to 10 lacs per annum. Top companies are Microsoft, Byju's, ITC, TCS, IDFC Bank, HDFC Bank, and many more companies that are visiting to recruit students. Top roles offered are data analyst, web developer, and many more. Above 7 CGPA students get easily placed compared to below 7 CGPA students. But sometimes luck and talent also work, so CGPA does not matter in many companies.

My experience in DAV University .

Placements: There are a lot of good companies, and lots of students are placed from here with 4-5 lakhs average package per annum. The syllabus of the course is mighty good, and they focus on the practical knowledge more than theory knowledge. 60–70% of students are placed.

I would recommend joining this college.

Placements: Placements are average in our college. Around 50-60 out of 100 students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered ranges between 6 LPA - 7 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Walmart, etc.

It is a good college with good environment.

Placements: Course in which I enrolled there is no option of placements so don't know about it. In other courses there is the highest package of 17 Lacs to 20 Lacs in MBA or B Tech and minimum package is 4 Lacs. No all students get placements. Placements are very rare.

I am fully satisfied with the facilities at our university.

Placements: The percentage of students who get placed in our course is 40%. The highest salary package is 5 LPA and the lowest is 0.5 LPA. Internships are given to 30% of students, which is good for their future and their studies. They get very good placements.

The college is academically good.

Placements: Out of 26 students in our class, 4 students got placed in different companies. Only 10-12 students appeared for interviews or screening rounds as most of us wanted to study further. Placements have a few pros and cons. If you are an average student, you get placed. If you are fortunate, then the company tend some strings, and you won't even have to appear for the last semester of your degree. You can get placed immediately. It gives you exposure even if you are not interested in a job at that ti...

In DAV University, teaching faculty members work very hard.

Placements: About 20% of the students from our course got placed. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 8,000 per month, while the average salary offered was Rs. 12,000 per month. DAV University is better for placements for MBA students, but B.Com students are not allowed to attend placements. Teaching staff members offer the best placements for students, and they provide valuable guidance to all students as per their ability.

The years I spent there for my graduation were amazing, but a bit dissatisfied with the placements.

Placements: The placements for Science students are not that impressive and you don't get that much opportunity to explore around. But that of MBA students is better. One may apply for internships in between the semesters and you may get recommendations also for that.

I am absolutely satisfied because of good faculty and course curriculum was appropriate.

Placements: I am a student of 2016-20 batch. I opted for Agriculture course. During our final year we got many opportunities for placement by different companies but since I was determined to pursue for my master's degree so I did not appear in any of the placements. Some of my classmates got placed as well.

It is a beautiful college with good facilities and a high level of teaching.

Placements: As our college was established 4 years back, the placement rate is very low. About 30% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 3.2 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.8 LPA. Companies which visited our college for placements are LG, Patanjali, Extramarks and Samsung. Only 10% of the students get internships in companies.

Good option if you don't have much expectations.

Placements: No placement opportunity for B.Sc. or M.Sc. courses. Despite of having so many colleges and schools under them there are no efforts to place the eligible students there. For other courses scene is no different but better. You have to be on your own.

I am satisfied with the faculty members, facilities, and infrastructure.

Placements: Placements were good for our batch and senior batch. Almost 73% of the students got placed in our batch. The highest salary package offered was 4 to 5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA approximately. Roles were like a supervisor, production, designer, maintenance, etc., were offered to students.

The college provides good faculty and infrastructure.

Placements: Placements here are good. The university assures 100% placements. The average salary packages start from 3-5 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA, and it was offered by Byju's. Companies like DMart, Metro, Red Carpet, Perfetti Van Melle, HDFC, Axis Bank, visit the university for internship and placement purpose.

I am not much satisfied with the college.

Placements: As DAV University is still in its development stage, there is still a great lack of core placement companies. Companies like Byju's and Clicklabs offered 7 LPA to 10 LPA in November 2018. While other local IT companies like Seasia, Vinsol, Optimus, Trantor, etc., which are mostly based in Chandigarh, marked their presence. The average salary package offered was 2.5 LPA to 3.5 LPA. I'm satisfied with facilities but not much with placements.

Placements: Placements provided in the college are not 100%, but around 70-80% of our seniors got placed in reputed companies as various organisations visit the college in search of talented candidates. Companies like Indian Oil, Samsung, Airtel, and ITC visit the campus for recruitment. However, the salary packages offered by them are not very high because the students don't have the work experience. But, the salary packages might vary depending on the knowledge of the students. By the time, the salary pac...

Dissatisfied with placements. The infrastructure was good, and the teachers were highly qualified.

Placements: DAV does not offer 100% placements, but many reputed companies visit the campus for placements and summer internships. Companies like Hero Cycles, Reliance Jio, and Samsung visited the campus for recruitment. The starting salary package offered by the companies was not high, but it increases as per the performance of the worker. A placement cell was available on the campus which was helpful to students for their placements.
