{Source: LL.B. students & alumni}

Here's a summary of what current students and alumni have to say:

Pros:
* Good infrastructure with well-maintained buildings, libraries, and hostels (Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, and good furniture)
* Well-educated and qualified faculty members who provide quality teaching
* Scholarships provided by the state government
* Opportunity to participate in seminars, guest faculty lectures, and workshops
* Library with a wide range of books and resources
* Supportive teaching staff willing to help students outside class hours
* Campus life is peaceful due to its location amidst greenery
* Many students have been successful in getting placed in judiciary roles after completing their LL.B.

Cons:
* Limited internship opportunities within the university
* No campus placements for law students
* High competition and challenging semester exams
* Some faculty members may not prioritize teaching due to personal reasons
* Limited extra-curricular activities and events
* Hostel maintenance could be improved

Based on these reviews, pursuing LL.B. at DDU GKP seems like a good option for those who are serious about their studies and want to develop a strong foundation in law. However, students should be aware of the challenges they might face during their academic journey and plan accordingly. Ultimately, whether or not it's "worth" pursuing LL.B. here depends on individual goals and priorities.

Our university has good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: The recent changes have provided students with a platform to demonstrate their abilities and talents. It helps to become self-sufficient when applying for any internship based on our qualifications.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is excellent. It has a well-ventilated building with all kinds of useful facilities. We have a personal library, individual classrooms for every semester, separate offices, a personal seminar hall, an equipped meeting room, a massive lobby, and a huge garden in front of our building. Everything provided is remarkable. Hostels are allotted for students with average food and water supplies. They encourage students to enroll in various games and competitions to show their abilities individually or in groups.
Faculty: New teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. They have the ability to clear the doubts of students. Guest professors are more talented than our professors at Department of Law because new professors know how to manage the changes happening.
Other: Our university is making efforts to make B.A. LL.B. a full-time course by providing a well-equipped building for students. It has been helpful lately because the B.A. LL.B. has now become a professional program instead of being recognised as a part of Department of Law. Scholarships are offered on the basis of categories. We get state government scholarships and central government scholarships. We organise every event with great enthusiasm. Students also participate in every competition and extracurricular activity organised by the university.

I am dissatisfied with the B.A. LL.B. faculty members.
Placements: It does not offer us any sort of placements. Internship opportunities are not provided here. All the students are expected to do it on their own. They do not organise any insightful seminar sessions for the students to learn from. Moot courts are not available for us.
Infrastructure: In spite of paying such a huge amount of fees, we do not have any access to the library facility. Students of our batch are not allowed to issue books or materials from the library. The infrastructure of classrooms is very poor, with unhygienic washroom conditions. There is no Wi-Fi facility on the campus as all work is recorded on paper but not implemented. The hostel facility is not up to mark. Healthy food is not provided in a mess. However, the medical facilities are to an extent admirable, as well as the sports section.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are not knowledgeable. Most of the teachers have poor speaking skills with poor English proficiency. Classes are not conducted on a regular basis, and the syllabus is not completed by the teachers. Students are expected to do it all by themselves. They don't make the students industry-ready. The difficulty level of the exams is average. The pass percentage is 36%.
Other: I have chosen this course because I am pursuing this course in order to become a judicial officer, as it has much scope in the outer field. The teaching faculty must be improved in order to mold and shape the students in a better way for the future. However, they provide us with ample opportunities to take part in curricular activities that allow us to know our strengths and weaknesses.

Review on Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University.
Placements: My batch is 2019-2024 and I have done B.A. and LL.B. In law and government universities, there is no such thing as placement. Most classmates either opted for litigation or went to preparation for the judiciary. Students do internships in firms and under a practicing lawyer.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was more or less of the generic type. The law department is a two-story building. Some have smart boards, and others have green boards. There is a department library that is titles filled and an air-conditioned facility is also available in the library. I didn't opt for a hostel but I frequently visited there so yes, the food's average. Sports are not provided to law students; they are provided to sports students.
Faculty: The teachers were helpful and well-qualified. Out of 15 permanent faculty, all were professors and assistant professors, and some guest faculty were also there. But I didn't like some teacher's pedagogy. This course doesn't make us industry-ready. Semester examinations are at a moderate level. The passing percentage is 33 percent.
Other: I chose this course because my father is an advocate and I am interested in the judicial field. The food court is the best thing about my course. Our course would be better if separate buildings and separate teachers were present for only B.A. and LL.B. No extracurricular activities are done in my department except Constitution Day, which is celebrated with all enthusiasm.
