Q:   Is it worth pursuing BPT at DPSRU?

    A:
    {Source: BPT students & alumni}

Here's a summary of the key points:

    Pros:
    * Good Infrastructure: The college has well-maintained buildings, labs, and lecture theaters.
    * Excellent Faculty: Most students agree that the faculty members are highly qualified, experienced, and skilled in their domains.
    * Clinical Exposure: Students get ample opportunity for clinical postings in top-notch hospitals in Delhi.
    * Relevant Curriculum: The course syllabus is tailored to prepare students for the industry, covering essential topics such as yoga, communication skills, and technology.
    * High-Quality Library: The college has a vast collection of books and resources available to students.
    * Scholarship Opportunities: Eligible students can apply for scholarships.

    Cons:
    * No Placement Cell: Unlike other programs, there is no dedicated placement cell for BPT graduates.
    * Limited Job Prospects: As most students move on to pursue higher education or start their own practices, there are limited job opportunities directly after graduation.
    * Average Accommodation: While the hostel rooms are decent, some students find the food quality to be subpar.
    * Limited Sports Facilities: Unfortunately, the college doesn't offer recreational sports facilities.

Overall, while DPSRU offers a good environment for learning and growth, it may not be ideal for students seeking direct job prospects immediately after graduation. Students opting for BPT should consider their career goals carefully and plan accordingly.

    University is absolutely amazing .
Placements: Almost all students get placed in reputed hospitals after completing BPT from Delhi Pharmaceutical Science and Research University. The highest package is around 5-7 LPA. The average package is around 3-5 LPA, and the lowest package is around 3-4 LPA. Top recruiting hospitals are Max Hospital, Apollo Hospital, Fortis Hospital, and government hospitals too, after clearing the exam. Almost 100% of the students who are pursuing BPT from this college get internships easily in any hospital, both government and private. The top roles offered when we join a hospital include becoming a Jr. Physiotherapist.
Infrastructure: We have an OPD in our college, where patient flow is good enough to help us learn clinicals. We have a library in our university. Also, we have drinking water and a Wi-Fi connection. Labs are also there, which are very clean and equipped with all kinds of necessary equipment. Hostel facilities are provided by the university, which has both girls' and boys' hostels on the campus itself. The hostel has its own mess facility, drinking water, washrooms, bathrooms, and a Wi-Fi connection. The hostel has almost all the required facilities.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, knowledgeable, highly educated, and well-qualified. The quality of teaching is very good. This course makes students well-prepared for the hospital. Semester exams are difficult compared to other colleges. The passing percentage is around 90%.
Other: I chose this course because it was my dream course that I wanted to pursue. The best thing about the course is that we become doctors after completing the course, and we become well-qualified physiotherapists who can work in the field. The things that should be improved are that it should have an attached hospital, and the number of faculty members for teaching should be increased. Events held in our university include Navratri Celebration, Janmashtami Celebration, Diwali Celebration, Holi Celebration, and many more. Fests are also held in college. The campus crowd is very large. Scholarships are also provided.

Everything is good in this college except for hostel and mess facilities.
Placements: I am in the second year of Bachelor in physiotherapy in which the college provides practice sessions in college OPD. After 3 years or in the end of third year, college provides internship program for the remaining 1 year in various hospitals like Safdarjung, AIIMS, etc.
Infrastructure: If we talk about college infrastructure, it is pretty good including various labs for practical knowledge. There are some labs which are under renovation currently for better establishment of new technologies. Hostel rooms are fine but food served is not good in taste as well as in hygiene.
Faculty: During the entire semester, teachers teach us according to them, but at the end, for better results, you have to read it thoroughly from the books by yourself. Semester exams are held after two sessional which occurs in the gap of one month gap between second sessional. Semester exams are of around 10 days.

Good but a bit expensive (according to government college) college.
Placements: Being in 1st year, as per my knowledge, I don't think there is placement assistance for BPT passed-out students by the college. But I also believe students do get jobs on their own. They get jobs in hospitals, private practices. In internships, the students go to hospitals like RML, Guru Gobind, etc. Hospital postings start from 3rd year. From 2nd year, students start working in the OPD of the college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Classrooms are spacious, there is no internet provided to students in college, but we do get free Wi-Fi in the hostel. The library is too good. There is no shortage of books, we can issue books for 30 days. Hence, it helps students who cannot afford pricey books.
Faculty: The qualifications of most of the professors are top-notch. Almost all are Ph.D. holders. Even one is an MBA and CFA also. Teachers are quite helpful as well as strict. The curriculum is relevant to the best of my knowledge. As from 2nd year, OPD postings start. Yes, they make students industry-ready. Exams are difficult according to me. A total of 6 exams happen in a year: 2 sessionals, then one semester in 6 months. The best of 2 sessionals is counted. Students do fail in anatomy exams as they take it slightly.
Other: I want to help people as well as I want to earn good, which is possible by this course. Truly speaking, extensive knowledge of the human body makes me feel awesome. A stipend for internship should be provided to students, it will motivate them a lot. There is no official fest and freshers provided by the college, but students do organize them on their own. There are clubs like sports, photography, drama, singing. The Rotaract Club is there for exposure. Umeed NGO is also there, which helps in building the CV.

Academics at it's best"because faculty members are highly qualified.
Placements: 99% approximately in B.Pharma. But 90% go for higher studies. There are no placements for BPT, and the highest package ranges from 7-10lakhs for undergrad and 10-12 Lacs for postgrad 99% got interned wherever they as the university has a wide range of connections professionally.
Infrastructure: Library! Good and calm! Departments for pharmacy are great! OPD is not that big for BPT students, but patient diversity is good. No Wi-Fi! Labs are available for every subject. A canteen is available, which is average. And No sports facilities and No games facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are way more highly qualified and skilled at teaching. The course of the subject is relevant without crazy text, which the student does not require in the future. About being industry ready. There are subjects like yoga, communication skills, coding, and tech preparing students for industries. Sem exams are tough.

It is a great university, but it could be perfect.
Placements: There's no placement cell for a bachelor of physiotherapy at the university. The university provides enough opportunities for clinical posting by directing us to top-notch hospitals in Delhi. We have received enough exposure.
Infrastructure: The lecture theatre is huge, spacious, and well-maintained. It's equipped with all the modern equipment, like motion sensor, air conditioner, whiteboard with projector, blackboard, and emporium. The seats and desk are comfortable and huge. The corridor and lecture theatre have local Wi-Fi, but it is unavailable on the campus. The library is huge and fully air-conditioned with a wide array of books. There's total discipline and decorum maintained at the same time. There are two separate hostels for males and females, with usually two people per room. There are approximately 5 to 7 washrooms on either end of the corridor. So there is no rush during the morning routine.
Faculty: Faculty members are great and highly educated, coming from top universities and clinical settings. The faculty excel in their domain and manage most situations. Every batch is formed into groups of 3 to 4 people, directed under a specific mentor. We have a dynamic spectrum of the subject, preparing us tactically to help deal with every clinical situation. A semester consists of 6 months with three examinations, that are sessional 1, sessional 2, and semester.

I am not satisfied but it's best for B. Pharma and you will get lots of placements.
Placements: There is no placement for BPT and no salary packages are offered. There are no recruiting companies for BPT. Internships are offered in various hospitals nearby. Basically, we do not have any placements for the BPT but the college may allot you some hospitals for clinical practice or for your internship.
Infrastructure: In our college, the classes are good. We have sensors everywhere, but projectors and Wi-Fi are not available. Food is below average for hostelers. The canteen is quite good. Medical facilities are average and sports ground is not available. There is a swimming pool but now it is closed and the same with the sports complex.
Faculty: Teaching is quite good however some teachers are just for salary and have no teaching skills at all. The level of the exam is medium and 50% is the pass percentage. The teachers are irregular on their attendance. However, there is strict rule of attendance for students. There should also be rules for teachers as well.
Other: I got BPT by my choice. However, you can opt for a scholarship if you are eligible. Events will not be there just small competitions will be there. Overall, it is good for B.Pharma.
