DPSRU - A short review of my college.
Placements: The college provides good placements in the field of pharmacy. The teachers on campus also help students get placements. Companies like Cipla and Mankind offer placements to students. The placement level of the college is good.
Infrastructure: The campus is a little small. The lecture theaters are good and have air conditioning. The university labs are also very good, and students can do research whenever they want, as all the lab equipment and chemicals are available.
Faculty: The faculty is very helpful and provides all possible assistance to students, even if it's not their department. They try to provide all the help they can. Exams occur regularly, with two sessional exams followed by one end-of-semester exam.

Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) - Batch of 2026

My honest views on Pharmacy College DIPSAR.
Placements: About 35-45% of students secure placements during campus recruitment drives, with average salary packages ranging from INR 5-6 lakh per annum. The top recruiting companies are Ozone Pharmaceuticals, Cipla, Lupin, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, Clarivate, and Sun Pharma. Internships are relatively high, as they are often mandatory. Top professional roles offered include Regulatory Affairs Officer, Production Executive, Drug Manufacturing, Quality Control, Sales and Marketing, and Hospital Pharmacy.
Infrastructure: DPSRU boasts a well-stocked library with a vast collection of academic and research books, journals, and digital resources. The university has state-of-the-art laboratories equipped with the latest instruments. The campus supports advanced research through specialized research centers and labs that cater to M.Pharm and Ph.D. students. The university offers hostel facilities for both male and female students, with WiFi and other basic amenities available. The mess food is good, but you may have to compromise on taste.
Faculty: The faculty have expertise in their subjects and the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and understandable way. They show enthusiasm for their subjects and help students pursue their passions. They are supportive and easily accessible to assist with any matter. The difficulty level of exams is moderate, testing both theoretical knowledge and practical understanding separately.
Other: Talking about campus life, the institute has a vibrant student community, contributing to a lively campus environment. There are various extracurricular societies, including Raag (music society), Malang (dance society), Umeed (NGO), Rotaract, and Paridrishya (photography society). Personally, I chose this college for my interest in the medical field, drug manufacturing, and research, all of which are well supported by this college. The campus provides a safe environment with guards at the gates and surveillance cameras, ensuring a secure atmosphere for students.

M.Pharm. in Drug Regulatory Affairs - Batch of 2025

3Placements2Infrastructure3Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
Good college for good students.
Placements: Currently, I'm in the 1st year of MPHARM, hence I don't have that much knowledge about placement, but our seniors have been placed in many good companies with an average of 6 LPA package. If you are hardworking and willing to do something in the future, pursuing a course in this college is good, plus you have to be very active in participating in several things.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of DPSRU is not that good as it is a government college. The hostel rooms are just okayish and up to the mark. There is a shortage of rooms in the hostel, hence students have to rent rooms and live there. Currently, new buildings are being made for the new courses, thus maybe in the future, there will be more facilities available.
Faculty: There is one big drawback of this college: the faculty of this college is not involved with the students as they need to be. There are only a few seminars or events done in college that are beneficial for the students. Thus, you have to involve yourself to gain benefits.

Overall satisfied because of very good academic values and low fees.
Placements: The placement record for B.Pharm. graduates is quite good, with 30-40% of students securing placements during campus recruitment drives. The main areas of placement are market research and data analysis, with average salary packages ranging from INR 5-6 lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies include ZS Associates, IQVIA, Sun Pharma, Zone Pharmaceuticals, Mankind Pharma, Cipla, and Lupin. The percentage of students who got internships during their B.Pharm. program is quite high, and the college's reputation is a major reason for this success. The top roles offered to B.Pharm. graduates are Drug Safety Associate, Pharmacist, Clinical Research Associate (CRA), Production Executive, and Quality Control/Quality Assurance Officer.
Infrastructure: The university has a good library with free Wi-Fi access. It also has laboratories for fields like pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacology, and pharmaceutics. The university has sports facilities and ongoing construction for research facilities. A part of the university infrastructure is still under development in preparation for introducing nursing courses in future years.
Faculty: DIPSAR faculty members are experienced and have expertise in their subject matter. They are approachable and supportive, going beyond academic instruction to mentor students in their personal and professional growth. The administration ensures that students' needs are met, maintaining a positive relationship between staff and students. Semester exams at DIPSAR are often considered moderately difficult to challenging, and the passing percentage is around 50% separately in both theory and practical.
Other: I attended this college and really enjoyed my time there. The academics were top-notch, and the institute also boasts a diverse and energetic student body, which contributed to a lively campus environment. The college had engaging extracurricular activities with a variety of societies, including Pridrashiya for photography, Raag for music, and Malang for dance.

Review of Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University.
Placements: They have no college placement. They have MPHARM placement, not UG placement; lots of companies are coming but not UG only PG course; they have not Diploma placement, not Bachelor placement; they have only master placement; or their packages are also medium, not so much good.
Infrastructure: They have AC available. Wi-Fi and libraries are also good but not good facilities, and they are very small campuses; they do not have a large campus. They have a good infrastructure lab; all instruments are available in labs; they have good experience teaching staff.
Faculty: Faculty are very experienced for specific subjects; they have 10 years of experience to study, and they have a medium-level exam. There are sessionals, which is very easy, but finals are tough, but if you study, you will easily pass in every subject.
Other: They have good teaching staff, but they have no campus grounds for extracurricular activities.

Good college for paramedical, if NEET is not qualified.
Placements: After B.Pharma it requires around 70-80% in every semester exam for a good placement. The highest salary package was 300k and the lowest was around 100k. Dr. Reddy's, Apollo, and Sun Pharma are the top recruiters. After doing B.Pharma, the salary package is less so it's around 20,000 per month. Students after B.Pharma are not interested in doing jobs and all so they do MPHARM or MBA, but after B.Pharma, the placement rate is around 60-70%. After pursuing B.Pharma, I'll do MBA from NIPER.
Infrastructure: Every classroom has AC and clean areas. The library is rich in books, magazines and journals. Hostel food is typical below-average food quality and the canteen has some choices but not that good. For college students, the physiotherapy outdoor is free and they don't have any sports areas, not even an indoor one.
Faculty: Teachers and faculty members are well experienced and skilled and dedicated as well. They have a good qualification and all have more than PHDs and have research papers published in various journals. After pursuing this course, you'll get the drug license, which will help you get a shop opened and the medical field after COVID-19 is anyway important and valid. Semester exams are easy as the passing percentage is 35%.
Other: I always wanted to go in the medical field and help others so after not qualifying the NEET exam, I got straight admission in B.Pharma in this college. The best thing about my course is you can help people in their medical need. If there was a good internship and field review, then it would be much better. Fest is not there on our campus or college; there's only an exhibition-type thing that is held during pharmacy week in November every year.

A:

Although 88% on the GPAT is a good score, entrance to Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University's MBA programme may not be assured with that score alone. Should the competition change, an 88% GPAT might be adequate this year, even though it wasn't in past years. Go to the DPSRU website and look for the official MBA cutoff scores from the prior year.

Q:   Is it worth pursuing D.Pharma at DPSRU?

A:
{Source: D.Pharma students & alumni}

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary of the key points:

* Placement Scenario: Unfortunately, most students reported that there are no or negligible on-campus placements for D.Pharma students. However, they encouraged students to explore off-campus opportunities, citing that the college's reputation and the image of DPSRU can lead to high chances of securing a job in a company or hospital.
* Teaching Quality: Most reviewers praised the teaching staff, saying they are well-qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive. Some mentioned that faculty members make students feel comfortable, while others noted that some may lack motivation or enthusiasm.
* Infrastructure: While the overall infrastructure seems decent, some reviewers pointed out issues with hostel conditions, particularly regarding mess food and infrastructure. Others appreciated the availability of modern facilities, such as air-conditioned classrooms and Wi-Fi connectivity.
* Course Curriculum: Some students felt that the current curriculum might not directly prepare students for industry demands, but internships (which are mandatory) helped bridge this gap.

Considering these points, whether pursuing D.Pharma at DPSRU is worth it ultimately depends on individual goals and priorities. For those interested in pharmaceutical industries and willing to explore off-campus opportunities, DPSRU might still offer valuable learning experiences. However, prospective students should carefully weigh the pros and cons before making an informed decision.
