For admission to a BSc course of DIT University, it is necessary that the aspirants fulfil the eligibility requirements. As per the official website, the common eligibility criteria is Class 12 or equivalent pass in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics (As per chosen specialisation) as mandatory subjects with at least 50% aggregate. In addition, student should have passed in English as well. The qualifying exam should have been passed from a recognised board.

Admission to the BTech course is based on the JEE Main score or Class 12 marks. After completion of the selection rounds, the university releases a merit list to announce the names of the shortlisted candidates. The shortlisted aspirants are called for counselling and document verification. It also offers direct admission to the Class 12 toppers (10% seats). Aspirants need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the university.

The CAT exam is always conducted on the last Sunday of November every year so the CAT 2024 exam is expected to be conducted on Nov 24, 2024. Official announcement of the CAT 2024 exam date will be made by the convening IIM on Jul 30, 2024. DIT University BTech is a four-year course divided into eight semesters at the UG level. The UG-level course is offered across different specialisations. The university admits candidates to the BTech courses based on JEE scores/merit in Class 12.Some of the specialisations in which the course is offered are Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology,  Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc. The university also offers lateral entry to BTech courses.
