Placement and infrastructure are good.

Placements: Around 60% of students from our course were placed last year. The highest package was 45 LPA. The average salary package was between 3-4 LPA. The lowest salary package was between 3-4 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Wipro, TCS, and Infosys. Most of the students secured internships. Top roles offered was a software engineer.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of DIT University is amazing. The buildings are good. There are many small grounds to sit and hang out. There are many cafes that provide hygienic food. Classrooms are clean. Library is really big and has textbooks for all the courses.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and highly educated, with years of experience. Most of them are IIT-qualified. They really teach us very well and help us. The difficulty of semester exams is high, but if we study hard, it is not that hard. So, we have to study hard. Pass percentage is about 70%.

DIT University - In a nutshell.

Placements: In our college, around 80% of students got jobs last year at on and off-campus companies. As far as I asked my seniors about it, the highest salary package offered is 58 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3.6 LPA. The average salary package offered is 8.2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Accenture, Yamaha Motors, Blinkit, Tekion, Palo Alto, Zomato, Adobe, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good. There are Wi-Fi routers in almost every room of the hostel. The mess is quite large. There are grounds for sports like basketball, table tennis, football, cricket net, etc. There are indoor games like chess, table tennis, etc. Talking about labs, there are plenty of workshops for manufacturing. We have a graphic lab, auditoriums, and chemistry labs. They have all necessary elements.

Faculty: Faculty members of our college are so far the best in Dehradun. They are extremely cooperative. They help in studies and even when providing marks, they try to give students maximum marks in internals as well as in written examinations. They teach in such a manner that is easy to understand and provide us with notes which are very helpful in the exam season.

Other: I personally chose this course as I was fond of computers, software, etc. I was always curious about how things work on just a code. The best thing about my course is the curriculum. I wish the library could be better and should contain more varieties of books. There are plenty of events in our college including the famous Youthopia which happens every year for 3 days. It is followed by several small events.

One can take if their list includes galgoia Amity etc

Placements: Placement is a little above average because it also calls mass recruitors, so does almost every called since it has a lesser amount of students compares to others so it is a little easy to crack good packages, go for it if your list contains colleges like lpu or galgotia

Infrastructure: Infrstructure is good, today it have 1200 students, so with this huge crowd( lesser students as compared to other colleges) Its totally filled if increased in future then it will feel short, less sports, no cricket, but only beautiful mountains all around

Faculty: Some teachers are very inexperienced, it looks like they are coming straight away completing their btech, anyways every student in any college learns more from other source rather than college notes, so take wisely, lesser sports, but better than, galgotia

Other: Weather is challenging being cold half of the year, now it has 1200 students which is less then any other college in and around that area, much better than college like lpu, galgotia

Faculty members are good and environment is lovely.

Placements: Placement is good, and companies are coming such as Wipro, Infosys, etc. The highest package is 54 lakhs, and the lowest is 12 lakhs. Sixty percent got internships in the companies. The college should improve the facilities provided to the students that help them to achieve their goals.

Infrastructure: Facilities are available in the hostel. Wi-Fi and labs are quite good. The classroom is also good, but the library is small. In the mess, the food is quite decent. There are restaurants available on the college campus. Medical facilities are also available. Sports facilities are not much.

Faculty: IITian faculty are very good. They are available anytime for help. They support us with any query. Semester exams are medium, but checking copies is not lenient. Yes, students are ready for industry because there are many clubs available that help students gain practical knowledge.

The Journey for excellence .

Placements: About 90% of students are placed in my college this year, and I also collected information from one of my seniors. They said that about 70% of students are placed in my class, and the rest go to master's or foreign degrees. As I know my senior, said that one of their seniors got 59 LPA in 2022, and the average package of students is 10.5 LPA to 15 LPA, based on the companies. As I know about internships, you have to do it on your own because, in that case, the college doesn't help you to get an internship but trains you for that.

Infrastructure: As I already mentioned, my course is B.Tech in Information Technology. I asked about the hostel and mess from my friends, and they said that it's almost good and has decent meals, but one thing is they don't provide non-veg food. If we talk about infrastructure, I would say that it's very good because I also visited the hostel 10-15 times with my friends, and there is no problem I have seen.

Faculty: Yes, the teachers were very helpful. Even after the class ended, they told us to come to their personal cabins for any doubt or problem solving. Yes, the curriculum is very relevant, and if we talk about being industry-ready, I can assure that they will be because I know their teaching style. In the university exam, the question paper is not too tough because if we read the last two years' question papers, we can easily pass the university exam.

Other: I chose this course because it comes under engineering and information technology, and we can use this technology to do such good things in our surroundings. This is already a better course, especially at our DIT University. If we talk about fests, there are different fests that are ongoing in our college, such as the SE and Fashion Show. On the last day, there is a Star Night in which different Bollywood singers come.

Genuine review of DIT University, Dehradun.

Placements: 50% placement rate is there. The highest package was around 40 LPA. The lowest was around 2–4 LPA. The companies are Paloalto, TCS and HCL. The internship facility is not good here and too many internships are there. You pay and you get an internship. The mass recruitment of students is there.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The full campus has Wi-Fi facility, classrooms are basic without air conditioning, and the library is good with all the facilities like Wi-Fi, PCs, books, etc. The hostel's facilities are decent, as are the rooms. But mess quality is not good.

Faculty: Faculty members are mostly from IIT, IIIT, and NIT. Some faculty members are good enough and some just do the formality. Yes course curriculum is relevant students all over Skills are developed by all the subjects. The difficulty level of exams is easy to moderate. There are two exams per semester: one is midsem and other is endsem. 80% of the students pass.
