Review of B.Com from Doon University.
Placements: The percentage of students that got placed in our course for the year 2021 was approximately 90% and the highest placement in our B.Com was 4,50,000 rupees per annum. The college has a very good reputation in the market and because of this many companies come here for placements.
Infrastructure: The facilities and the infrastructure of our college are good. We are provided with all the amenities in a hostel with attached washrooms and tv facilities made available. The college also has a big mess with good quality food being served.
Faculty: The semester exams are not that difficult to crack however, studying for just 2 hours a day for the entire year will do the work of clearing the exams with a decent score in academics. The faculty members of Doon University are nice, they have good knowledge in their domain.

    Doon university review for students.
Placements: Those who scored above 60% in 12th and 10th were placed in the course. The highest package in the course is INR 4 lacs, the average package is INR 3 lacs, and the minimum package is INR 2 lacs. Whoever scores above 80% in every semester gets an internship. The top roles offered in this course are manager and manager assistant.
Infrastructure: Classrooms with smart classes and premium-quality furniture are there. Free Wi-Fi for students on campus. well-defined labs with all the required equipment. The library has a collection of 40,000 books, including novels and journals. Every student has a separate room with attached washrooms.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, having Ph.D. degrees. Teaching technique and quality are very impressive. The curriculum is relevant for this course. Yes, this course makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate or simple at this college. The passing percentage is 40.

    Doon university reviews.
Placements: In the course B.Com. (Hons), there are 60 seats and there are no placements for B.Com. students at the university. There are no internship programs for B.Com. students; only MBA students are given internships and packages. Some personality development classes are available for B.Com. Students in the last year of the course or a few certificate courses are there.
Infrastructure: If we talk about the facilities and infrastructure of the university, it was amazing. The university is spread over a very large area; there is a proper Wi-Fi facility and the labs are also good. The classrooms are also neat and clean. A library is also there, which is named the central library, which gives all the books and self-study materials. The hostel facilities are also good. If there are any problems, quick action is taken by the council. The canteen facilities are good. The availability of food in the mess is also good. Sports facilities are also good. Different clubs are there and tournaments happen every semester.
Faculty: Teachers are good and well qualified but the teaching quality is not that good and knowledgeable; only theoretical knowledge is given; there is no practical study for B.Com. students; there is no honors degree in any specific subjects; all the subjects are studied; the semester exam is not that difficult because only that much appears in the exam; what the teacher taught in the classroom is below 8 CGPA; there is no honors degree given by the university.
Other: The best thing about the course B.Com. (Hons) is completing a degree in average time. The faculty members are good but there are strict rules about the classes and attendance and there is also a lack of practical knowledge. Festivals are there because they are organised by the student council, and the campus has very good greenery and a very peaceful environment.

It is an average university with an average placement cell.
Placements: The placement cell is not that good. Only 20% of our batchmates got placed. During our placements, only 3 or 4 companies came to our college, and they were average. Our university doesn't provide any internships to students. We need to find them by ourselves. The highest salary offered is around Rs. 25000 per month to Rs. 30000 per month, the average is Rs. 15000 per month, and the lowest is Rs. 10000 per month to Rs. 15000 per month. Companies like SK Padaudia came for recruitment.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the university is great. The campus of Doon University is the best campus amongst colleges in Dehradun as it is located in the beautiful Doon Valley. Facilities provided, like labs, Wi-Fi, and classrooms, are average as it is a public university. The hostel is worth it because it's affordable and it's located on the campus, which creates ease for students. Rooms and bathrooms are hygienic. The mess food is average. The hostel does not have massive restrictions like other hostels, which is something we students like. Students living in the hostel can play any kind of sports after their classes or whenever they are free. The hostel doesn't provide any medical facilities, and we have to take care of it by ourselves.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, but our university is not good in terms of the study environment. There is no study pressure, and students are unconcerned about it. This course was introduced 3 or 4 years ago. It's better to pursue this course at a better college than Doon University. It doesn't make students industry-ready. Semester exams are not that difficult. If you study, you can score well. The pass percentage is 75%.
Other: I chose this course because it was the only government college in Uttarakhand providing this course at that time. The best thing about this course is that it teaches us about various aspects of the commerce field. We should learn more about the practical aspects rather than the theoretical aspects. In a span of 3 years, only one fest took place. Everything was shut down due to COVID. The quality of their festivals and events is average. The management is not that good. If you like co-circular activities, don't come to this college. The crowd is average. The campus is beautiful.

Soon university is a good place for learning. The number of students in every class is low
Placements: The highest package offered is 14lpa with the lowest being 4. From my class of 50 students, about 8 people were offered internship by Times Of India There were also many companies coming to our university for placement program like Amazon, Decathlon.
Infrastructure: All the basic facilities are available and are in working condition. Some of the buildings are very eye catching. Male and female hostels are available with a single room provided for each student. Wifi for students is available in hostels and all the other buildings
Faculty: The faculty is friendly. The strength of students in every course is low compared to other colleges so the professors are able to pay special attention to the students. There are two exams in every semester with assignments for every subject. The university also allows flexibility in the section of extra courses. Many language courses are available.

Our college is good for language courses.
Placements: Almost 30% of students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. The top recruiting company is Amazon. Top roles offered are HR and manager. Our college provides only a few placements for B.Com students. Students should complete their masters to get good jobs.
Infrastructure: Our college has a huge campus, and students can play games anytime. Labs and classrooms are in good condition. The infrastructure of the hostel is good. The food served in the hostel is not good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and good. Few teachers are not good. The pass percentage of our college is 98%. Semester exams are moderate. We have two exams each semester. One exam is conducted for 30 marks, and the other exam is conducted for 20 marks. Our teachers conduct assignments for 20 marks.
Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in it. After covid, events are not organised in our college. Our college conducts a department fest.
