Remuna Degree College is better than other semi-government colleges.

Placements: No placements. The placement structure of this college is not good. In my batch, 47 students were enrolled, and none of them got any placements. Some students were offered internships, but this was not known to many students. Every student should be aware of the internship program and its benefits.

Infrastructure: The classrooms and library are good, but the library should have self-help books. There is no Wi-Fi in our college for student use. There is a hall where many events take place, which is a good thing I like about the college. I was not living in the hostel, so I don't know about the food.

Faculty: The teachers were helpful and qualified, but they don't make students industry-ready. Teachers should have proper knowledge about their subjects. The teaching quality is average. Semester exams were somewhat difficult; 85% passed and 15% failed, but they later cleared.

Other: I have a keen interest in business and economics, which is why I chose this course. Practical knowledge should be given to students on the stock market, economy, and marketing. Accounting should be taught practically on the system to prepare students for accountant jobs. Events were well organized.

Due to recent syllabus changes and education policies, a fourth year has been added. So, the Computer Science Honors course is switching from a 3-year program to a 4-year program. Infrastructure: The college provides many facilities, including smart classrooms and Wi-Fi. The teachers and faculty members are approachable and friendly, making it easy to ask questions and clarify doubts. There are labs, a library, a study hall, and many other resources for education and skill enhancement.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They have a good sense of humor and explain complex topics effectively. They are supportive and helpful in various ways. Semester exams are moderately difficult, allowing average, good, and below-average students to perform well.

Other: I chose this course because it's my favorite, and I want to be a software developer. This college helps me develop my coding and other skills.

College life is no doubt very good and comfortable, and all faculties are supportive.

Placements: 30% of students were placed, with an average package of 3.3 LPA. Wipro and Tech Mahindra are the main recruiters. This college also offers MCA, BBA, and MBA, and companies do come to this college, but you have to grab the opportunity. I am not satisfied with the placement cell. The highest package is 5 LPA, and 60% above of students are getting placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is above average. It is also working on improving its infrastructure. It is a government college and will become a university in the next coming year, so no doubt the infrastructure will be good. The campus life is also very comfortable.

Faculty: Faculty members are supportive and teach very nice. Extracurricular activities like sports and other activities are also present. Exams are strict. The NCC in this college is also very good. The No. 1 NCC is in this college, and faculty members are well-talented.

Other: The NCC of this college is No. 1 NCC in all of Odisha. Naval NCC and Army NCC are also present.

Good college, but if you want placement, then don't come.

Placements: As the custard is not professional, there is not any placement cell in our college. After these academic curricula, most of the students prepare for government. As in the private sector, there is less chance to get a job. In my opinion, taking the same course from a central university is the best option.

Infrastructure: Average infrastructure. Wi-fi is not available for students. The computer lab is not good. There is a library, but all the imported books are not available here. There is not a dedicated reading room in the college. Classrooms are good, but not the best. Other facilities are also available, but only in some cases or for some students.

Faculty: Faculty members are good, but the number of net-cleared faculty in our whole college is less than 10. Most of them are in the college on a contractual basis, not permanent. Semester exams are not difficult; you have to read on a daily basis to clear the exam.
