Totally dissatisfied because of 80% teachers are following orders whether they are right or wrong

Placements: Last-year placements were a little low compared to previous years. More than 70% of the students were placed. The highest package was 5 LPA on the campus. They don't allow students to take internship outside, but they run their own training session in the college. The companies that visited our college are Wipro, TCS, Accenture, Airtel, Cognizant, etc.

Nice to opt if going for a private college.

Placements: The placements are good as compared to other colleges. Approx 3-4 LPA is the average package. You can't expect more from a private college. The highest is approx 15 LPA. Many good companies visit for placement, like Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Idea, etc. The placement opportunities from CS branch are the maximum but for others, it's hard. For mechanical, it has a company named JBM which assured us for placement. The college is mainly famous for CS branch. MBA from here will give the same average a...

Dissatisfied because of faculty and management.

Placements: Placement is good. Top companies visit for placement. They provide a good package. The highest package is 3.45 lacs PA. Infosys, Wipro and Cognizant visit in the first round. If you got selected in these companies you can't sit in round B companies. Overall, placement is good.

If students really want to study they can achieve great heights over here. Facilities are very bad.

Placements: They have a 90-95% placement record. That's what they said, but we don't know the reality. We just hope for the best. Other students hope that they will get a package of around 6-7 lakh but that's not true. Our seniors told that 3-4 lakh is the maximum package here. I know this is a bit disappointing, but we hope for the best.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the faculty and infrastructure.

Placements: The placement is really good but it mainly depends on the student to be eligible for that and the knowledge he has. Many big companies come to recruit and give an average package of 4,00,000. Computer science students' placement is very good. The college provides a school of life-long learning, which helps students to enhance their skills and English speaking.

Good faculty and education but bad administration and support.

Placements: No placement in core companies for students of mechanical, civil and others, except CS. All companies are either from the IT field or marketing. Waste of money, time and effort if you look for other opportunities outside of your campus after receiving your degree.

Not a really good option for studying economic (Hons.). University is good for professional courses.

Placements: Placements in economics (Hons.) are not very good. Though, many companies visits the campus including Infosys, RBS, TCS, etc. but hardly 2-3 students from our course get placed. Also, not many students apply for placements since the average salary package offered is about 3 lakhs per annum which is quite low. So, students prefer to go for Indian economic services, jobs in public sector units, etc. Exposure is given to various sectors like industry, agriculture, etc. through internships.

A good college for those who want to pursue B.Tech with an average fee structure.

Placements: Placement assistance is quite good. The companies arriving to the university are well recognised big brands like Infosys, Wipro, etc. and are offering a good package. The faculty members helps you out in every possible manner. From first to the last semester, aptitude is very well taught.

If you have a better option then don't come to Galgotias University.

Placements: The placement is not good for mechanical students because very few core companies (mechanical companies) come to the campus. The university management is very helpful and trying to place many students.Currently, the university has tieups with JBM Group for better placements and for better education facilities in practical (industrial workshops). The campus is very good in computer science (B.tech in CS or IT) placements approx 80 to 90% of students were placed previous year but only a few of mec...

Placements: Placement is kind of good. All of my senior batch students got campus placement with an average annual package of 3.5 lakhs. In 2016 the batch which got placed, they got placed only in two days. 1045 students out of 1500 student (approximately) got placed on the very first day.

Come at your own risk in this university. No placements.

Placements: There is no scope for placement for my course through my college. But it's providing a very good facility for the engineering department. But I don't see any well placed student through this university. If anyone wants to make his or her career in engineering then he or she can join this college. It will provide you a good placement.

Placements: Placements were pretty decent. The average package received was around 3.0-3.5 lakhs and was offered by mass recruiters like Cognizant, Wipro and Infosys. The highest and lowest packages offered were 2.0 lakhs and 6.0 lakhs respectively. Also, the statistics mentioned that almost 100% of the students got placed. Placements: Placements were pretty ordinary and were not out of the box, the average packages offered were like that of any other private college, i.e. 3.5 lpa. The highest package was around 15 lpa, and the least being 2.5 lpa. College is 'okay'. Keep that in mind before getting in here so that you don't march forward with a feeling of regret, thereafter. Placement scenario is quite straight and simple. Don't hope for the big names to invest in you but you will definitely find mass recruiters to provide you with a way. Well, you can always aim for the best once you dive into the service sector.

If I talk about IT lab it is good, some keyboards are not good but in majority they are good, all PCs are working and air-conditioned labs.

Annual fee is Rs. 128000 but they demanded Rs. 10000 more in the name of faculty member’s salary. It is open robbery.
