    Review of Garden City University.
Placements: Our college provided good placements. Students who score more than 80% in all semesters get placements easily. There are only a few placement opportunities at our college.
Infrastructure: In a radius of 1 kilometer from campus, there are many hostels. The hostel is good. The hostel fee is expensive. The quality of the food in the hostel is not good. The library is good. Labs are available.
Faculty: Every six months, semester exams are conducted. Our teachers have 20-30 years of experience in the teaching field. They clarify our doubts and try to explain them with many examples.

    Our college has no placements.
Placements: They offered no support in placements. There was no proper guidance. They used to send us job roles with 5 years of experience, which made no sense. No big companies visited here.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are average. They are not that good. The labs are fine. The studio for journalism is also average and not great since it lacks more equipment.
Faculty: Teachers are not good. Faculty members are randomly selected, with no experience. The curriculum is not up-to-date.

A guide to my journey in GCU.
Placements: Only 10% of students secured placements with the highest salary package of 4 LPA and the lowest salary package of 2 LPA. There are no top recruiting companies. It is mandatory for every student to complete a 90-day internship, which must be arranged by themselves. The leading roles available are in journalism, as well as positions as junior editors and designers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good, with plenty of space and accessible classrooms and laboratories. We had full access to the library during college hours, as well as the food court and most other facilities. Since I was not in the hostel, I don't have firsthand experience, but I visited a friend's room once, and it was spacious and well-maintained. There are also various food options available.
Faculty: Teachers are very experienced and give us very good knowledge. The teaching quality is very professional. The course curriculum is very relevant and makes us ready for the outside world and industry. As we have a lot of hands-on experience that they give us and they also take IV every year. Semester exams are moderate level and not that difficult. The pass percentage is 70%.
Other: I chose this course because my main field of interest is journalism and second is psychology. The best part of this course is that they covered all the sub-branches in that field in 6 semesters. I would say it would be best if they had more living examples and experiences for us to understand it in-depth. We have many fests and other extracurricular activities. We have one main fest every year known as Gardenia where a lot of people from other colleges also come and participate.

Good placements, great environment and exposure.
Placements: Placements in our college were good. The placement percentage was also good. Around 80 out of 100 students were placed and got internships. In hotel management, reputed companies such as Hayat, Taj, Oberoi and many offered the roles of hospitality trainer, relationship manager and customer services to the students.
Infrastructure: The college has a good infrastructure. The required facilities are available on the campus. Quality of classrooms and labs is satisfying and well-maintained. Food provided is good. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. I didn't face any infrastructure related issues.
Faculty: They are highly qualified and helpful. They teach us with the help of a projector, and every topic is taught well with live examples. We got a chance to visit a hotel for a project to get exposure. The practical teaching method is followed. Lots of practice and a good amount of information is provided.
Other: Lots of fests are conducted in the college. The campus crowd is great. Students are from 76 countries. It is a beautiful campus with lagoon and coconut trees.

It is the best college but placements in the college are bad.
Placements: Placements were not at all good, but the college conducted a job fair often. Few companies visited the college to offer placements with nominal salary packages. The roles offered were not up to the standard. Most of the companies that visited were related to the BPO sector. A few companies from airlines sector visited to recruit students for ground level staff, but the selected ones were never called for training. The college is the best in everything except placements. I am highly dissatisfied with the placement opportunities provided in the college. Sometimes, the college recruits alumni for assistant professor roles.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was excellent. Free Wi-Fi facility was available all over the campus. The library was perfect. There was a campus radio for the students with in-house journals comprising of student editorial team. There was also an in-house dance academy with a professional choreographer to train dancers and also other students to participate in various college shows. A large playground was available for various inter-college cricket tournaments. Basketball ground, futsal, etc., are also available. The campus has a studio for media students, computer labs for BCA students, kitchen for hotel management students, restaurants and living room for special guests. Fashion and apparel designing labs were also available.
Faculty: The college had great faculty members. They were helpful throughout the course. They also brought guest lecturers to the class to motivate students. We got industry exposure by the college. We were asked to participate in various events as volunteers, some were paid, and some were unpaid. They also helped us in our extracurricular activities. We got great exposure to talented intellectuals who often came for guest lectures. The course curriculum followed in college was very useful.
Other: A lot of events and fests are conducted throughout the academic year in the college that involves students.

The infrastructure of the college is good, but the placements are not up to the mark.
Placements: I didn't attend the placement drives, but the placements in the college were okay. Many of us did not get placed in the campus placements because the placement scenario was not that strong. A few of them got recruited by Indigo as air hostesses and ground staff. Most of the students found internships on their own.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good with beautiful lush lawns. There is a filling food court in the college. The various statues installed in the campus add to the beauty. The fountains and small stream like structures add beauty in addition to the diversity of the students.
Faculty: Faculty members in the college are very good. They teach us in line with the schedule. They mainly focus on providing practical knowledge to students. But a little more field trips and industry knowledge must be imparted. Apart from that, the faculty members are well-qualified to educate the students.
