The university is good if you are a genius or a student who won't depend on it.
Placements: I am studying in my BCA 2nd year, and I am preparing for placements as well, but I really doubt you'll get a good package. The average package is around INR 4 lacs, and the maximum package is around INR 6 lacs at most, except if you are a genius. The minimum package is around INR 2–3 lacs.
Infrastructure: The only thing this Gautam Buddha university is famous for is its infrastructure. The infrastructure of the university is top-notch; it is beautiful; Shanti Sarovar is the best part of the university; Shanti Sarovar is at the center of the university; and the departments are good as well. Hostel rooms are in good condition and safe, of course; they provide you with a bed (without mattresses), a study table, and a chair; Wi-Fi or LAN is provided; and the mess provides four meals of the day.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful if they don't hold grudges against you, so make sure you never mess with a teacher. The course curriculum is updated and nice, but please don't depend on the teacher or faculty for your studies. They'll hardly teach you something. I am studying BCA, so my academic fee is INR 36k per semester, and my hostel fee is INR 36k (20k for hostel and 16k for mess).

It is the best state government college.
Placements: At GBU, a minimum of 70% of students are placed during placements. The highest salary package goes to the maximum of 5 LPA in BCA. The top recruiting companies are Paytm, HCL, Mahindra, Boat, Goggle, Wipro Technologies Pvt LTD, and many others like Phone Pe and Bharat Pe.
Infrastructure: The classroom is fully equipped with Wi-Fi on campus. It is fully furnished and has a good environment for study. GBU is a residential university so the hostel is compulsory for both girls and boys. In the hostel, the room contains a bed, chair, table, and almirah. The mess food is average.
Faculty: At GBU, all the faculty members are Ph.D. holders. The teaching methods are good. In our course, all the faculty members work in the labs for programming languages. At GBU, the semester examinations are conducted after the mid-semester exams which are for 15 marks and the end-semester exam is for 70 marks.
Other: At GBU, events like GBU fiesta, Abhivanjna, Dawat e GBU, and the other sports and physical activity and the UP domicile are conducted. Students apply for the UP scholarship and the other states' students apply for the national scholarships.

The reality of Gautam Buddha University.
Placements: In my college, the number of students getting placed through on-campus placement is very low, as a very low variety of companies visit the college and rarely offer a good package. The highest package in my course was 7 LPA, which was offered to only two of the students from many others; the minimum is just 1.5–3 LPA; this also depends; not even 40% of the students get offers to get placement. The college takes no initiative in providing a helping hand for scoring internships. If we talk about the top roles offered, they were mostly in cybersecurity and data science.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in the college is very good and well maintained. The 8 individual departments form a beautiful structure, and in between those departments is the main attraction of the Gautam Buddha University campus, which is an artificial lake called Sarovar. The hostels are vast, and the rooms are well maintained and spacious. The infrastructure also consists of stadiums for cricket, football, and hockey. Other sports infrastructure includes an indoor stadium with synthetic badminton and basketball courts; there are also multiple open volleyball, tennis, and basketball courts. The campus also consists of a gym, a swimming pool (not in use), and many other facilities.
Faculty: The faculty and administration there are qualified scholars and smart people; most of the faculty is very nice and helpful, but there are a good number of teachers who are very rude, aggressive, disrespectful and not at all helpful. The administration is very slow and unattentive. The curriculum is vast and moderate; one can easily score passing marks.
Other: Talking about the events in the college, they don't happen that regularly; sometimes there are only the annual events, which are the sports fest, the teach fest, and a DJ night once a year, but the events are nice and playful, providing a chance for interaction with other people.

It is the best college with best campus and better placements with future opportunities.
Placements: I think 70% of students were placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 4 LPA, 2.5 LPA is the lowest salary package, and the average salary package offered is about 3 LPA in our course, Top recruiting companies are Tech Mahindra, NTT, Wipro, Infosys, Decimal, Ebix, etc. From our course, about 20% of students got internships in HCL, Decimal, and many other companies. The top roles offered in our course are graduate engineer trainee, software developer, etc.
Infrastructure: All the facilities offered by the college are very good. Wi-Fi is provided to every student in the hostel. All the lab facilities are very good. The classrooms are very spacious and provided with an air-conditioner facility. The library is very big and spacious, with an air-conditioner facility. You can find out extra books for your course other than your course.
Faculty: Teachers at our university are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching method of teachers is very good and friendly. The course curriculum is relevant but there is no industry work provided in our course. So I don't think students are industry-ready. The difficulty level of the semester exam is average. The pass percentage is 90-95%.
Other: I want to do something different in my life and am curious about computer technology so I chose this course. Before corona, fest, events are regular but now because of security reasons, there are no fests and events. There is good connectivity of transportation to our campus.

Good campus college with average placement opportunities, good placement in 2022.
Placements: Almost 60 % of students got placement in my batch. The highest package offered was 3.8 LPA and the lowest was 3 LPA.
Ebix cash, decimal, agami tech.
No internship was provided by the college.
Associate programme analyst was the top role offered. Some more companies that come to my college are TCS, HCL, Tech Mahindra etc.
Infrastructure: LAN is available in each room in hostels personally. The library and classrooms are AC rooms and have a very good seating capacity. Very high tech labs are there for us. Food in mess is good, rooms are nice with single capacity only, there is every sport almost like cricket, football, squash, shooting, volleyball etc.
Faculty: Teachers are average, well-qualified faculty members, and the course curriculum is good and encourages students to be job-ready. The pass % of Semester exams is 80 %. Exams are of good level. Many students got back in few subjects in 1st sem only.
Other: This course is quite good to enter in IT field, it is 3-year degree course so I opted for it. I would like to suggest HOD set the last sem in BCA as an internship only where students could get training for the job. There are so many fests per year, the campus is too big and there is little connectivity issue there. Students got a yearly scholarship from the UP government. There are too many extracurricular activities going on. In college students can. Get into the interested ones.

Review of Gautam Buddha University.
Placements: Placements are not good at all here, but the majority of companies give placements with a salary package of around 3 LPA-4 LPA. However, a few companies visit here for placements with a salary package of more than 6 LPA. Last year the highest salary package offered was 10 LPA, which is pretty good, but a few students get it.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is one of the best in the country. Our college has more than 500 acres of land with an incredible infrastructure. There is a massive library with all kinds of books that you want to study. There are many grounds and a stadium for sports event and casual games.
Faculty: Faculty members here are a kind of fine but not much great. They are not much supportive. However, a few professors are good and try to understand the problems and try to solve them. Exams are at a moderate level and not easy and not hard. You can easily pass all the exams if you are a decent student.
