Good infrastructure and good place.
Placements: Placements are good. Salary package offered is up to 7 LPA. Placement cell provides training to students before recruiting companies to visit and take responsibility for placements in good companies. They also help in good education and training.
Infrastructure: Hostel charges Rs. 1,50,000 rupees per year in which they provide good food and rooms. They also have a gym and games like table tennis foosball, etc. They also have a sitting area outside and we can play outdoor games there.
Faculty: Faculty members are average in teaching and they provide slides for studying. They help in referring books which helps to study. It makes it easy and can be understood easily. They provide help for 24 hours and they are available for students.

Quiet satisfied with the Gitam university, teachers, infrastructure, internship, placements etc.
Placements: The placement record for this college is quite good. About 80% of students were placed. The highest package was 45 LPA, the lowest was 3 LPA, and the average package was around 6 LPA. Some of the top recruiters were TCS, Amazon, Modak Analytics, and Cognizant. About 90% of students got internships with companies like TCS, Amazon, and Microsoft. The top roles were security analyst and pentester.
Infrastructure: The campus is beautiful, and the facilities are top-notch. The classrooms are air-conditioned, well-equipped, and have projectors. The labs are well-maintained and stocked with new equipment. The Wi-Fi signal is strong throughout the campus, and the food in the cafeteria is pretty good. The campus also has a medical center, a gym, and a variety of sports facilities.
Faculty: Every teacher has their own way of teaching, almost all of them are very helpful. The course curriculum is flexible, and students are encouraged to explore their own interests and develop their own skills. Exams are not that tough, and with thorough study, students can excel in their chosen fields.
Other: GITAM University holds many events throughout the year, but the most popular is the show fest, which is the largest fest in South India. Students from all over the country participate in this fest, and the experience is quite memorable.

Review of Visakhapatnam Best Deemed University.
Placements: About placements in our college, they are pretty average this year. Due to the recession, very few companies attended, and those that did had an average offer of around 3-4 LPA. The highest offer was around 12 LPA. The percentage of students who got offers was also very low, around 60%. Almost all of the placements for all branches were in technical fields, and in non-technical fields, placements were near to zero. In Gitam, unlike other colleges, we don't get any internship opportunities within the college; we have to apply for them outside the campus, which is a very negative point here.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in Gitam cannot be faulted; for the fee we pay, the infrastructure is worth it. All the classrooms are well air-conditioned with high-tech facilities for charging laptops, Wi-Fi available all around the campus, and more. The labs are also very well maintained; they don't seem as if they are 30 years old. Equipment in labs gets replaced frequently, leading to new instruments and technology in our labs. However, the hostels are a bit more expensive for what they provide, in my opinion. The variety of food provided in the hostel mess is vast, but the taste of it is not so good. Compared to other universities in the same tier, the mess at Gitam is much better. There are numerous sports facilities at Gitam, ranging from an indoor stadium to an outdoor stadium for cricket, football, and more. From chess to table tennis to cricket, we can play all types of sports here. The medical facility at Gitam is also very good. Just opposite the technical department of the college, there is a dental and MBBS part of the college where they provide free treatment to all the students of Gitam.
Faculty: The faculty and curriculum are way below par considering the fees charged. The teachers here may have many certificates on paper, but it does not reflect in their teaching methods. They often just read out the presentation slides they have prepared. While not all faculty members are like this, most follow a similar pattern. Ultimately, it falls upon the students to self-study for exams. Every student is assigned a mentor for academic assistance, but many mentors seem disengaged, only collecting signatures every six months without providing much support. The curriculum also seems subpar compared to other universities of the same tier; it appears tailored to ensure students pass rather than fostering deep understanding. Internal assessments are worth 70 marks, meaning a student can pass by scoring just 35 marks. Semester exams, worth 30 marks each, are not very challenging, often featuring repeated questions from previous semesters. The pass percentage is also very high.
Other: I chose this college simply because of its location; it is near to my home, and it is not a bad college. If we have the zeal to study, it is a good choice as we get all necessary things to study here. The library here is top-notch, as are the classrooms and everything else. Fests here are also very good; something or the other happens every other week. The crowd here is also very diverse, ranging from local to international exchange students, giving us exposure to a lot of people.

Placements: 60% of students are placed in the college. The highest package was around 50 LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA. We got many top MNCs in our college. Many students got internships through our college, which were suggested by the faculty only. Data analyst and Software Engineer were the roles offered by companies .
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is too good. Starting from classrooms and labs and the library, all are too good. Which are easily accessible to all of the students. The quality of the washrooms, hostels, and personal areas is way good and comfortable.
Faculty: The teachers are very good; they are much approachable to the students and also they are well qualified. The faculty over there teaches in a way that all the students get the right thing into their brains. We have a grading system called relative grading.
Other: I have chosen computer science because it has a really good future and also the maximum alumni have been placed through this course .

Great faculties, modern classes, great cafes, great stadiums, and excellent extracurricular options.
Placements: Almost 60% of students secured placements in our batch. The highest package is 30 LPA, the lowest 3 LPA, and the average 4.5 LPA. The top picks included Accenture, TCS, Cognizant, Capgemini, Tejas Network, Deloitte, and HSBC. Almost 60% of the students also received internships in companies like State Street, Accenture, TCS, and a few parent organizations. High-level activities offered were software development, research, and core engineering.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good and is improving every day. The labs are good with all equipment and good computers. Wi-Fi is available everywhere inside the campus. Medical facilities like GIMSR Hospital are available inside the campus. Two grounds are available for sports and games, with one upgraded gym inside the campus with all the games available and equipment.
Faculty: Yes, the faculty members are qualified and knowledgeable with good knowledge of smart classes. The curriculum provides us with a balance of both theory and practice knowledge in the subject. As Gitam follows relative grading, semester exams are moderately difficult, with a supportive learning environment.
Other: I chose this course because of my passion for the subject and to get the opportunity to work in corporations. The course provides strong practical knowledge with theoretical understanding. I wish there were more industrial-based training and learning. Gitam campus offers a vibrant environment, from food to clubs and stadiums with newly built, best infrastructure. Events like Shore are very engaging and vibrant. Overall, the experience is very good at GITAM.

I would not recommend this college for middle-class students.
Placements: Around 60% of students got placements. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: Hostels and their rooms are very old. They are charging much for hostels. They are very far from the city. The metro is not available. There are very strict rules.
Faculty: Teachers are not very good. They just teach. They don't explain the topic. They are not highly qualified.
Other: If students want just a degree, they can join this college.
