GKV, the GFTI college you should choose after JoSAA CSAB counseling.

Placements: The highest package of the last batch was 15 LPA and the all-time high was 18 LPA, most of the students remain unplaced after the campus placement. The average package is around 3 LPA. No big companies like Google and Microsoft do hiring from here, and most of the jobs are in sales.

I suggest you not to join this college until you don't have other options.

Placements: This college is very poor at providing placements.

Our college doesn't provide good placements.

Placements: The percentage of students who got placed from our college is average. The highest salary package offered was 5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. The average salary package offered was 3 LPA. Companies like Wipro, Tata, Infotech, etc., visit the campus for recruitment.

Don't take admission. You will ruin your life.

Placements: About of 80-85 students only 15-20 placed with average package of 3-5 Lacs per annum (CTC). There is no disclosure of the highest, the lowest packages offered. Very few companies visit the campus due to lack of proper communication between training & placement cells and companies. There is no facilities for students to get internship from college.

Review of GKV - Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya.

Placements: Placements in our college are average. Nearly 20-30% of the students got placed with an average salary package of 2-3 LPA. Many unheard IT companies come here for recruitment which doesn't offer much salary package.

Don't even think of joining this college.

Placements: No companies visited our campus. There were placements in other colleges where we could attend. But the companies used to give preference to the on campus students and then for our college students. So in our batch only 1 or 2 percent students got placed. The same happened for our senior batch too. Those 1 or 2 percent students were offered a maximum salary of 3.2 Lacs. No internships were provided from college to the students.

Gurukul :- a short view & an unstatisfied but satisfied campus.

Placements: The worst condition if we talk about placement. Placement of branches like CSE and ECE is very low. And placement of other branches like mechanical &electrical is almost negligible. This year companies like TCS, WIPRO, SONY organise placement fair but placement percentage is very low. Average placement package be 3 Lacs. But here students have an option of pool campus.

No one should come here for B.Tech. Or you can visit here for sake of knowledge.

Placements: Just for show off. Placement department is very interested to do good with students future. They are just completing threshold of government order. Most of the students are directionless and don't know what and how should do anything. Time by time they loose their confidence and become a poor student. If you want to know, come here before admission and adk with senior students as well as juniors too.

Take a B.Sc. course instead.

Placements: In my batch from the campus placement nobody got selection because not a single company appeared in the campus. At the end of the session a couple of company appeared but both of them were fake and the management just fooled the students to prevent protest against them. In our senior batch there was, I think, 3-4 companies like TCS, wipro and two more with 3.47 PA as their the highest package. If you are thinking to grab a internship by the name of college then just forget it, it all depends on...

We can study in the college only for getting a degree.

Placements: The placement of this college is very poor. The college shows only placement, but students don't get better jobs. The lower level of some companies are coming in my college, and college doesn't work on placement, which students need.

The worst college experience you would ever have.

Placements: There is a placement cell in my college, but they don't do anything for us neither college does. The previous year, 2017 the companies like Make my holiday provided 1 lakh 50 thousand per annum is the highest package. Hardly 2% to 3% of the student got jobs. We're hardly disappointed with this hope.

I am dissatisfied because of the lack of facilities and services.

Placements: The placement record of the college is bad, most of the students prepare for examination like GATE, ESE etc. ,here only a few companies come which are only for "computer science" and "electronics and communication engineering" branch. Recently, a company offer 3.5 L.P.A. to a C.S.E. student, The college does not provide internships to any student, the student has to do it on his own.

Average college with govt. fee, but not such place where you will develop professional personality.

Placements: The placements are average, but not up to the mark. At least, we expect TCS, Wipro and more such IT organisations to come and hire us, but there is no such thing. Some local companies come and offer a below average package. Even some good BCA college gives more opportunities than this organisation. In short, if your dream is to pursue M Tech or want to earn a job by your effots, only then can you think to come here.

Brighter minds are lead towards a dim future.

Placements: Speaking frankly, there is no guarantee for placements in this college. And if you are talking about the environment of this college, it is too bad to say anything about it. There is no interaction with seniors, no extra-curricular activities. Talking about internships and stipend, it is up to you and solely depends on you to secure an internship from somewhere. College didn't even encourage us and failed to pave the right path. There is no faculty support at all. I am just running out of words ...

A 2017 passed-out speaks about his experienece.

Placements: The present batch of 2017 did not see any company visiting the campus for placements. However, off-campus opportunities were created. Students got placed in Capgemini, TCS, Jindal Electricals, etc. through off-campus opportunities. Internships were not provided by the college but BHEL Sidcul offered students exclusive opportunities to intern with BHEL Haridwar.

I am not satisfied with the placement and infrastructure and also with university administration

Placements: Placement of senior batch was average but in 2017, the percentage of placement is 1%. TCS, used to visit the campus but in this year, TCS has also not come. In fact, companies like Siscom and Webkul visit the campus placing a maximum of 2 students with a package of 2.4 LPA and Siscom offering 1.6 LPA only.Other than this, one company named Grifeo Technology also visited the campus and placed 20 students but later we came to know that the company was fake. Apart from this, if any student got plac...

Real Gurukul - An overview of a purely boys college with limited resources.

Placements: Generally, the placement is good. But since the last few years, there is a downfall shown in placements. Last year, the on-campus placement percentage was only 30%. Only a few companies visited this college which includes TCS. The maximum placement offered to the student is 3 LPA and the average placement is 2 LPA. Generally, 1-2 internships are provided to the student but that would too in a rare case. Roles given to students in a company directly depend on the qualities and skills of the stud...

Really bad infrastructure and facilities etc.

Placements: 5 out of 89 students were placed in TCS with a package of 3.33 lakhs in the 2016 batch, while our batches have 3 placements in TCS, so the average package is 3.33 lakhs per annum. There is no internship opportunity in the college, and no other company other than TCS visits the campus.

Average college for local people.

Placements: The college does not have not too many placements. In our 2011-2015 batch, there were 360 students. But placements were done for 40-50 students. 2 or 3 companies come for placement and hire a few students. Some other companies come but they don't hire even a single student.
