It is an average college, it is neither particularly good nor bad.

Placements: B.Teach placements at FET GKV, Haridwar, are average, with a limited number of students securing positions in reputed companies. The highest salary package offered ranges from 10 LPA - 12 LPA. But opportunities in core fields are less. Efforts to improve industry connections and diversity placement options could significantly benefit future batches.

Good college with average packages, but mess food is terrible.

Placements: Placement is good. Till last year, the highest package was 11 LPA, but this year it increased to 35 LPA for an electrical engineering branch student. Top recruiting companies are TCS and IBM. The percentage of students placed is around 60% for CSE.

Good college for academics.

Placements: In the computer science branch, there are 230. Most of the different companies are placed in Mahindra Helix and IBM. Here, the most of the packages are around 4 to 5 lacs, and some of the highest packages are like 11 lacs. Some got more than 5, just a few persons.

Gurukal Kangri Vishwavidyalaya review.

Placements: Placement is not that good, but still, you can hope for off-campus placement. Walmart, IBM, TCS, Infosys, and Wipro are regular recruiters for this college. The highest package offered is 15L from Tech Mahindra, and the average of 5-6L is being offered. Almost 70% of students get placed every year.

Good exploration of the world because of the college.

Placements: In a year, the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, GKV, has almost 225 students enrolled in Computer Science, out of which 70% of students get placed from campus. For some years, Mahindra and Syska are the top recruiting companies. Most of the students are placed as software engineers.

GKV detailed review in one shot.

Placements: Every year, almost 60% of students get placed. Placements are higher in core branches like ECE, EE, and ME. The highest package offered in 2024 was 15LPA to an A.M.E. student from Teach Mahindra. The average is 5-6 LPA for every student. Top recruiters are Walmart, TCS, Wipro, IBM, and many more. Amazon and Google also visit quite often. As such, the college does not provide any internships, so one has to apply for off-campus internships.

The college is best if you want to give time to build skills.

Placements: Placement is also average at 3 LPA. The college assists you with placement, and if you have good skills, you may go with off-campus opportunities.

Good faculty but bad hostel facility.

Placements: The highest package of this college was 1200000 per annum, and the lowest package was 4 Lacs per annum. Placement rate in this college is not too good; students apply to campus for placements. Top companies that are still on our campus are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc. Around 40% of students got placements or internships in this college.

College campus view and details.

Placements: Mostly students get their placement from their respective departments, viz. B Pharm or M Pharm, with 80-90% of students placed in various companies like Mankind, Cipla, and Sun Pharma. Students get placed with packages up to 8-9 LPA. Various recruiting companies visit here and hire many students from the department.

Decent foundation, but lacking in practical exposure and industry relevance.

Placements: Limited brand visibility: Due to GKV being a lesser-known college, it faces a lack of recognition among elite recruiters, with only some offering entry-level or contractual roles. Low average packages: For the majority of students, the offered packages can be underwhelming, with the average package hovering around 3-4 LPA. High competition for limited roles: With a significant number of students vying for a limited number of roles, the competition is fierce.

Infrastructure is great with scenic views and greeney but it is not well maintained.

Placements: Companies are limited. But the reputation is quite good, which helps in a portfolio. The companies are usually mass recruiters, and students have to start from the grassroots level to attain a good standard. The name of GKV is often seen with pride because of its past.

Satisfied with the location of the college.

Placements: About 60% of students are placed even in computer science and engineering. The highest package is 14 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is about 4 LPA. The mass recruiting companies are INFOSYS and TCS, though there are some good companies, i.e., IBM and College Dunia. Students of this college interned off campus because the college doesn't offer any internships. The percentage is quite low in internships, i.e., about 10%. They are interning, like in DRDO, BHEL and some companies nearby, ...

My overall experience of this college life.

Placements: The percentage of students getting placed is around 60-70%. Many companies arrive for placements like Wipro, TCS, Jubilant, Nectar life Science, etc. The highest package offered by the companies is 5 LPA for my course. The students have to find internships on their own, but the faculty members also help with it. Roles offered in my course are that of junior microbiologist, senior microbiologist, lab technician, etc.

Placements: I am in the CSE branch, 1st-year students. Only placements are available for skilled students as per their branch. Companies like TCS, Infosys, and many more are in consideration. You will be placed according to your skill and your age. CSE got more placements as compared to other branches.

Placements: Most of the students who applied for campus placement got the placement. The highest package was 18 LPA, the lowest was 4 LPA, and the average was 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Asian Paints, Dabur. A very small number of students get internships in our college. Top roles offered in our course are SDE.

Review on Gkv-Haridwar (Computer Science And Engineering) .

Placements: In the Computer Science branch, all the students who are willing for a job are placed, but the downside is there is a lack of company options in incampus placements, and also the CTC is low. There is not any certain data of the highest and the lowest package but will range between 5-7 LPA. TCS, Halonix, Panasonic, etc., come to the college.
