January 20, 2025: Gujarat National Law University is organizing the 4th Edition of the GNLU International Conference on Business, Law and Public Policy (GICBLP), in collaboration with Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, GNLU law firm partner, under the aegis of the GNLU Centre for Business and Public Policy. The broad themes of this conference are: Finance/ Financial Services, Securities Law & Capital Markets, Fintech Innovations, Taxation, and Contemporary and Public Policy. The submission deadline for the paper is 24th January, 2025.  The last date of registration is 4th February, 2025. About Conference: The GNLU International Conference on Business, Law & Public Policy (GICBLP), is a platform aimed at promoting dialogue and dissemination of scholarly insights on several important issues in the field of banking, finance, securities market, taxation and allied laws. This edition of the conference will have constructive deliberations on contemporary themes on financial services, markets, instruments, innovations, and laws & regulations such as securities market & its regulations, taxation laws, fintech innovations, public policy, regulatory challenges, and other broad topics of contemporary issues.

Guidelines For Paper Submission

  • ·Author(s) should indicate the theme on which the paper is based.
  • The paper should include a title, an abstract (max. 500 words) and a minimum of 5 keywords. 
  • The papers shall be screened by the editorial board. The author(s) of the shortlisted papers shall be intimated accordingly.
  • The word limit (excluding footnotes) can range between 3000-5000 words.
  • Mode of citation: APA/OSCOLA.
  • The font to be used will be Times New Roman, Heading (Bold) Size -14, Body Size - 12.
  • Uniform margins of 1” shall be kept on all sides.
  • Co-authorship up to 2 authors is permissible (separate registration fees shall be payable for both the authors).
  • All submissions should be the original work of the author(s) and should not have been submitted for publication/published/ presented elsewhere in any form.
  • Certificate of Participation will be given to all the participants.
  • Papers with similarity scores of up to 10% will be accepted and anything above will be outrightly rejected.

Our college has friendly and approachable teachers.

Placements: Our college provides good placements. The salary package offered is 16 LPA to 20 LPA. Top recruiting companies visit our campus. Placements by the placement committee are awarded from the 3rd year to students. Most of them acquire PPOs.

Our college has very positive environment.

Placements: Companies like Khaitan, CAM, and SAM recruit from our college. Students with great CV and personality development matter in placements. Some companies also conduct their interviews and exams. There is a pre-placement for students in 4rth year. Our college offers funds for startup businesses.

Very good placement and decent infrastructure.

Placements: The placements at our college are pretty good, with the average package last year being around 8 to 11 Lacs per annum, and the highest package reaching 17 Lacs per annum. The top recruiters included Trilegal, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Linklaters, and Khaitan and Company.

I am satisfied with everything in our college.

Placements: Some top recruiters of GNLU are Trilegal, Cyril Amarchand Mangladas, Linklaters, Khaitan & Company, J Sagar Associates and Kangna & Company. The legal associate is the role offered to students. The average salary package offered is 15 LPA. Placements are for both undergraduate and post-graduate students.

The placements were pretty good here.

Placements: Approximately there are 100% placements in our college. Many students get paced in firms like Amarchand Mangaldas, etc., as well as in foreign firms from our course. In spite of bookish knowledge, we also get a chance to interact with people and get a better knowledge of society.

Gujarat National Law University is the best college because of good facilities.

Placements: About 30-40% of the students form our course got placed. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA. About 20-25% of the students from our course got an internship. Students are offered many jobs in companies like Talwar Thakore & Associates.
