Review of M.E.S. College of Arts, Science and Commerce.
Placements: There were not that many students who were placed in my course. These placements are mainly for B.Com. students. What I want to say is that if you are looking for placements, then this college is not for you; hence, choose your decision to opt for this college. There are several companies that come to this college, but they see which course you have opted for, so if you are in an arts course, there is not much interest. Choose your college wisely.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good, with well-maintained toilets. And also with the canteen, which serves fewer dishes when compared to other colleges, The library has a number of books, but its holdings will be upgraded with time. There are not that many books relevant to our course, but one can find the oldest books too. There are no hostels. And the food available in the canteen is okay; I can say it's edible. There is also Wi-Fi and labs for science students.
Faculty: As they say, it all depends on us. The teachers do their work and finish their portions correctly, and exams come, which means a lot of study holidays. The teaching quality depends upon the teachers; some of them are very knowledgeable, but some are poor in communication skills, so it all depends upon the individual teacher, but there are also some good-reputed teachers who I look up to till today.
Other: MS is famous for its fests; hence, many fests are conducted. I chose this college due to its fests being conducted, as well as for the scholarship availability and the fact that students are active with regard to their needs.

Review of Goa University.
Placements: Goa University has recently started a French course for bachelor's students. In our batch, there are a total of 8 students, 2 boys, and 6 girls. Goa University does not provide placements for French students. Students have to search for the jobs themselves.
Infrastructure: Fans and air-conditioners are provided in all classrooms. There are some classrooms in other departments at our university with only fans. Libraries have study rooms and computer rooms. Study rooms have fans only. Air-conditioners and fans are available in computer rooms. At Goa University, there are hostels for boys and girls. Hostel 1 is for B.A. and M.A. students, and Hostel 2 is for Ph.D. students. Every hostel room has two students. It depends on you and whom you want to stay with in the hostel. Every room has 2 fans, 2 tables, 2 chairs, 2 almirahs, and 2 beds without bedsheets. Almost everything is good in the hostel. The quality of the food in the mess is not good. The canteen food is good. There are a few North Indian food items available in the canteen at Goa University, including samosas, parathas, tea, etc. Sports and medical facilities are excellent. Goa University is situated in the north part of Goa, away from the city, and there is only one shop, one cyber cafe, and an SBI bank. When the university is closed, everything is closed, and that is a very difficult situation for us because we have to go 5 kilometers away from the university to buy something.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful and polite. They are always available to help students, either online or offline. When I was new to this college, I was very scared, but they started talking to me in our national language, and then it seemed very familiar to me, especially our Anthony sir and Shourya mam. They are my two favorite teachers at our university. The university uses Hindi, Konkani, and English to communicate with students. Semester exams are not difficult. You have to give 18 exams every semester, which will determine your overall marks for each semester. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: Everything is expensive. A middle-class student will find it very difficult to adjust to our college.

B.A. in Economics - Batch of 2022
Offered by M.E.S. College of Arts, Science and Commerce
3.8

The professors at the college were good.
Placements: In our batch, only 30% of students were placed. The highest offered package was 7 LPA, while the lowest was 2 LPA, and the average package stood at 2.5 LPA. Around 60–70% of students secured internships in the last year of college. The top roles offered in my course were in economics and education. A majority of students opt for higher education.
Infrastructure: The college's infrastructure was average and conventional. Classrooms were well-maintained, and the library and labs had all the necessary resources. The food in the college canteen was moderate. The college provides facilities like volleyball and basketball courts, as well as hostel accommodations.
Faculty: The professors in our college were qualified and knowledgeable, providing helpful and supportive guidance to the students. Teachers offered high-quality education, and the college exams were not excessively challenging, requiring a minimum of 33% marks for passing.

There are various curricular activities that happen throughout the year.
Placements: The lowest salary offered is Rs. 5,000 per month and the highest salary offered is Rs. 40,000 per month. Students who passed out from the same college are given the opportunity to teach in the same college once they are eligible for teaching. Teachers of Dhempe College Of Arts and Science are good as they guide their students throughout the course.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good in our college and the campus location is also appropriate. The infrastructure is a bit older but is firm. The atmosphere in and around the campus is good. The infrastructure provided by our college is good enough. Wi-Fi facilities are average. Classrooms and a library are also average. There are also various labs, etc.
Faculty: Most of our faculty members are Ph.D. degree holders. They are also experienced. Staff members are very supportive towards the children in any activity, etc.
Other: Different departments organise different events in which we can participate and show our interests. Janmashtami Dahi Hand is an event that is held. Sports day, teacher's day and all such days are also celebrated on campus. There are also quiz day, Science day, and other Science events that happen throughout the year. Events like Creation and Ebullience are held around January to March. The college teams participate in all possible events organised by other colleges. The library is open for all with all the books the students might need. There is an innovation club, quarks club for Physics students, a cultural club, and many more.

Review of M.E.S. College of Arts, Science and Commerce.
Placements: The placements are provided to students with above 7.5 CGPA. The lecturers are very good to teach. There were no placements for our batch. We hope the college will provide placements soon.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel facility in our college, but the canteen food is very good and tasty. Sports in MS are very good, and the physical education teacher guides us and treats us well. Many indoor games like chess, Ludo and carroms are available.
Faculty: As of now, the new education policy has come, so it is very tough for students who are studying now. But it was quite easy for us, and the lecturers are very talented. They taught us well and made us learn more effectively. I recommend everyone to join this college.
Other: I chose B.A. in political science to study for UPSC. The best thing is in UPSC, political science is the base for main exams. To improve the course, I wish the teachers should take more classes. A fest named Anubhav is held once a year, and it is grandly celebrated.

My golden days of college.
Placements: The highest package offered was 150,000/- per annum. The recruiting companies depend on courses. There is an internship cell where students can go and clear their doubts. And the top companies are Wipro, Infosys, Amazon, Flipkart, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is okay. The course they offer and the education of the college are very nice. Classrooms are huge, and the library is also well maintained, and there are many books that can be referred to by students. The canteen is okay taste-wise but there is a limited menu. The college is very good for the sports. There is also a gym where both boys and girls can go whenever they are free. There are many indoor games like table tennis, carrom, chess, business, etc.
Faculty: All the faculty members are excellent. They are so good, and the way they explain is also good. The difficulty level of semester exams is average. Not so tough nor too easy. The faculty members put their efforts into teaching by creating the slides, showing videos, and even practicals, which are also so good. They are very supportive towards students.
