At G. B. P. U. A. &T. , they prepare us for an exam called life.

Placements: The placements at G. B. P. U. A. &T. is great and far better than any other State University of Uttarakhand. College of Technology attracts most of the technology based companies in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Agriculture engineering, Biotechnology, Industrial production, IT and Computer Science. Other than this College of Agriculture gets its students placed in Farm production, Plantation Management, Fertilizer, Chemical and SEED production based company. College of Agri-Business Management ...

G B Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Udham Singh Nagar.

Placements: To be honest, here in Pantnagar, there is good placement in agriculture in comparison to engineering, many of my seniors are in good position in seeds, fertilizer companies and even in banks, other then this they have been serving as agriculture officer also. Every year different companies used to come here on campus and take interviews and select deserving students.

Very good infrastructure and the crowd in the college is also appreciated.

Placements: The placements after this college are like the open sky. Many big companies come to the college for the placement purpose. My present lifestyle is all because of the placement after completing my college. The professors and the college staff are very cooperative.

It has really good infrastructure and the place to realize that we are in heaven.

Placements: Placement depends upon the major subject. Some of the disciplines, subjected to hundred percent placement like agri-business management and some discipline of home science. Agricultural product companies prefer B.Sc (Ag.) rather than agri-allied.

It is the mentor of modern agriculturist.

Placements: Placement was fair, and we got enough time to study both subjects as well as for competitive exams. Though the number of placements was decreased, the success ratio is increased with time, as the number of students being selected agreed as officer in banks in recent few years.

Good infrastructure and campus environment. Poor placements in the last few years.

Placements: The placements are not up to the mark in the recent years, with only 40-50% of the batch got placed. The highest package offered is 6.5 lacs/annum, and the lowest was around 3.25 lacs/annum. Some of the companies which visit for placements include Hero, TCS, John Deere, Escorts Tractors, Sonalika Tractors, Tafe, Amplus Solar, etc. The internship opportunities are almost nil.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty. The placements and infrastructure are good.

Placements: The placement was good for our senior batch because 23 out of 50 students were placed on TCS company. This year also the placements were too good because more than two companies came for placement. TCS company offered 3.32 lakh per annum per student. For this year 14 out of 68 students are placed in TCS company. 5 students are placed in polestar company. Only one student was placed in Wipro company.

Satisfied because of the return on investment as whatever we are investing, we are getting back.

Placements: Last year, the average package in our college was around 6.15 lakhs, the lowest was 4.5 lakhs, and the highest was 9.5 lakhs with 100% placement. This is pretty good in terms of return on investment as the total expenditure of 2 years in CABM is around 5.8 lakhs including the tuition fee. Here, mainly agri input companies like UPL, Tata Rallis, Chambal Fertilizers, etc. come for recruitment for finals as well as summer placements.

Placements: For undergraduate programmes, students search for an internship on their own. As I am from the home science extension department, students from this department went in Amar Ujala, Dainik Jagran, Hindustan, AIR, Almora, ETV, ZEE News, Uttaranchal Deep, Doordarshan and other printing and journalism firms. Students from other departments go for food factories, textile firms, interior designing of prominent restaurants and hotels and NGOs like Goong, special need NGOs, MAD, etc. There are no campus ...

G.B. Pant is undoubtedly a brand in Itself.

Placements: Good placement after graduation. Placement cell used to call different companies from PAN India. Satisfactory packages are offered to the students. But more and better placements can be expected as the university has an excellent alumni base. This can be used in a more targeted and better way.

The campus can prepare for various competitive exams like GRE/CAT/Bank as the campus has CL/Time/Arete coaching. The fees is a little higher than other branches but truly speaking its worth spending.
