The college carries a great reputation in agricultural communities in both the north and south regions of the country. The college boasts a huge alumni base with names such as Vineet Nayar, former CEO of HCL. The placements stats have been rising in the last few years and hopefully the college will be able to regain its lost sheen soon.

One of the best university and not to forget the largest also. Since it was already started in late 1970's it is having a strong alumni base. Faculty members are good. Electronics department labs and infrastructure are good. You will always get the feel of the campus. Negative point of the university you may feel that is the connectivity. Placements are good enough with 100% placements is a reality here. Some companies like Tata Steel, Maruti and Coal India do visit the campus. You can study and...

The best engineering college in Utharakhand. Again considered to be one among the largest campus in India. Though infrastructure is not considered to be great but still the faculties, students and teaching methodologies are best in the business. It is having a very good placement records with companies like Tata Steel, Maruti Suzuki recruits from my campus. Since it is a state funded college, fees are meagre. It conducts variety of technical, cultural events like accolade, spardha etc. Since it ...

Pantnagar is one of the best college's in Uttarakhand. It has one of the largest campus in the country. You will get a lot of opportunities here. Placement is average for mechanical around 40%. Maruti, Bajaj auto and power, Honda cars are main recruiters with average package above 4.5L. Placement of CS is improving and is above 70%. Grading system is internal so you have to be good with the faculty. Labs are average and require rejuvenation. Labs are average and require rejuvenation.

The university has vast 16000 acre campus and Asia’s 2nd largest library. Sports are well organised throughout the year. Although facilities were better but organization was not regular and comparable to My B.tech College. Civil faculty at my time was excellent but has got lowered due to some retirement but nevertheless it is great to be there and being a government institution its fee is very affordable.

Good curriculum, though requires more emphasis on projects and training. Very good faculty members. College is worth the money. Good hands-on training to students who want to learn. Laboratories are well equipped. Good interaction among students. Good hostel facilities. An overall good government college. The university is reputed and is the harbinger of green revolution.

GBPUAT PANTNAGAR REVIEW B. VASc.

Placements: The scenario of placement isn't available here. Students usually opt for MVSc or they opt for veterinary doctor in army wing. That's the current scenario. Students might also go for government exams but the placement is hardly present here and no such data related to placements are released.

I am satisfied with faculty members.

Placements: Students have not got placed in our course. The average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Biocon, Bharat Biotech, etc., visit our college. All students got internships in DRDO, UBC, etc. We have to find internships on our own. We have to get industry exposure for better placement opportunities.

Satisfied with the college and campus. And faculty too .

Placements: About 50% of students get placed each year. Common companies are TCS, Wipro, Hero, etc. Students get placed with an average package of 4 or 5 Lacs. Some students go for internships too.

Placements: In our batch, out of 100 students, 40 students got placed in jobs. The highest salary package offered in our batch varied from 4 LPA to 5 LPA. Mostly students were doing internships on campus because the university had good land for agriculture.

Placements: About 50% of the students got placed this year, during corona pandemic, which is quite appreciable compared to the other colleges. The highest package offered was 9.8 Lacs per annum for mechanical engineering students. So, I think it is a good college to join.

Teachers, library, food and other facilities are good. Campus placements are poor.

Placements: Only 20 students got placed out of approximately 76 students, of which 18 members were boys. I think the best salary package offered by Maruti was more than 6 LPA, the lowest salary package offered by some vendor companies was around 3.2 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 4 to 5 LPA. OEMs generally offer good salary packages, but vendor companies are not that great.

Placements: It has good placement facilities but I cannot only say that there are many job opportunities here. We do get jobs but with very low salary packages. Offline placement is much better an option.
