Absolutely dissatisfied and won't suggest anyone to take admission in this college.
Placements: I am currently a 2nd year student. 4th year students have been waiting for their placements, still. So far, only one company came to hire which only shortlisted 4 students. The final year students also suggested us to work hard on our own and learn from other sources and its always better if you're not dependent on this college for a job.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure for art department, it lacks the environment an artist needs for growth. It feels like a closed cell space. I went to other colleges and their design departments and how they are allowed to explore/decorate their departments, it gives a better space to artists in the making, but in this department its just paintings lying around and dull off white walls.
Faculty: Each teacher tries to teach in their own personal style. Also, this year, two of our teachers have left the college and students don't know what assignments they have to prepare for end semester jury sessions. Its confusing for the students and hard for them to develop their own styles as they are forced to experiment with different styles.
Other: Graphic era is only famous for its events, most of the crowd is in this college to enjoy their youth and this college even asks for affidavit so they can debar you if your attendance is short. It has really harmed my mental health as I can't afford the fees and I'm not even allowed to work on my personal commercial projects. I was told by the faculty that I can work on my commercial projects and if I submit the payment invoices I will get attendance. Later, I was told that it is only allowed to final year students and I had to drop all my projects for the 75% attendance.
