Q:   Can I get direct admission to GSFC University?

A: 

Yes, candidates can get direct admission to various courses based on their eligibility. Direct admission is offered on first-come-first-serve basis. Below is the criteria to get direct admission:

  • Candidates who have passed BE/ BTech/ BSc with at least 55% aggregate to get direct admission in MSc programme.
  • Aspirants need to pass HSc with at least 50% aggregate to apply for BBA programme.
  • Candidates who have completed HSC with at least 45% aggregate to apply for BSc course.

Q:   How can I get admission in GSFC University?

A: 

GSFC University admissions begin with registration. Below are the step-wise admission process:

  • Application- The admission process starts with filling GSFC University application form. Interested candidates can visit the official website of GSFC University to apply for the course of their choice along with making the fee payment of INR 350 for BTech and INR 500 for BSc, MSc, BBA and BCA course.
  • Selection Process- For BSc, MSc, BBA and BCA course candidates need to clear ACT and fulfilment of the latest eligibility, i.e., class 12. However, for BTech programme, student need to clear JEE (Main)/GUJCE.
  • Admission Confirmation- After completion of the selection rounds, the shortlisted candidates are called for verification of the documents. Aspirants need to pay course fee to confirm their seat in the university.

Q:   What is the selection criteria for BTech at GSFC University?

A: 

Candidates need to pass  JEE or GUJCET to get admission to BTech programme. The state quota seats of the BTech will be filled by Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), Govt. of Gujarat. If seats are not filled under specified JEE & GUJCET, vacant seats will be transferred to either of the categories. Besides, aspirants must also complete Class 12 to take admission in BTech.

Honest review of GSFC University.
Placements: 71% of students were placed in my course. The highest package is 10 lpa, the lowest is 4 lpa, and the average is 6 lpa were offered in my course. GSFC Ltd., Atul, Prakash, Alembic, and Dipak Nitrate are the top recruiting companies in my course. 80% students got internships from my course and in companies likes Reliance, GSFC chemical, Infosys, etc.
Infrastructure: Good Wi-Fi is provided, labs are well maintained, all the devices in the lab are up-to-date, there are lifts provided, AC is provided in the lab, and there is a sitting area in our college named Sarjan. I have not opted for hostel but it's good.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality of GSFC is good. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry-ready. Internal exams are not that challenging but external exams are quite challenging.

Satisfied with the college, good teaching, and good vibes.
Placements: Many of the chemical students got placed in GSFC chemical Company; many got placed in Adani , Reliance, Infosys, etc. We got internships every semester. Top recruiting companies are GSFC Agrotech Limited, GSFC chemicals, Infosys, Reliance, Adani , Linda, L & T, etc.
Infrastructure: We have a very good infrastructure and environment. Canteen food is very tasty and healthy, medical facilities are good as there is a medical center on campus and sports courts like basketball, swimming pool, volleyball court, cricket ground, etc. are absolutely good.
Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful, and course structure is well designed to get understood. Semester has 2 mid-semester exams and external semesters are not hard to pass. You'll be scoring good marks in mid-semester, and external is quite challenging because you have to at least score 17 marks to pass and you have to do hard work for it.
Other: Technology for CSE is very good . More hands-on experience will be better if we get. Events and fests are the best.

Not satisfied with the college.
Placements: Among us all, 30% students are probably placed. The lowest package would be 1.5 lac per annum, and the highest package would be 3.5 lac per annual for freshers. Companies like Baxter, DSWD, etc. are recruiting. Top roles we can get are QC inspector, QC analyst, QA, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are above average. Canteen food and even the hostel food are bad, even when students are paying a lot of money for this. They have the audacity to underfeed the students. Even breakfast is only a piece of bread without butter. Sports and games are organized properly, though.
Faculty: Teachers are arrogant but excellent in their teaching. They are extremely knowledgeable in their field. Most of them don't care about students, although few are caring about actually educing students. Course curriculum is a try-hard type of resource and does try to make the students industry-ready. Exams are extremely difficult, and the examiners are super strict.
Other: I love my subject, that's why I chose it. Learning about different bacteria and working on them is pretty fun. There could be improvements in labs, as we can never find the necessary items required for experiments. There's always an event going on the campus. Extracurricular activities are almost zero

Placements: Our college provides average placements. It is a new university. They will provide good placement opportunities in the future. Top recruiting companies are Byju's, GSFC, Reliance, Nirma, etc. They provide internship opportunities each semester.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is average. Our college provides us with all facilities. The hostel facilities are good. The hostel rooms are small. Our college is Wi-Fi enabled. We have a gymnasium. A playground is available in our college.
Faculty: Our teachers are good and friendly. The syllabus is as same as the old curriculum. It has some minor changes. Exams are divided into two parts, mid semester and end-semester exams. The mid-semester exam consists of 20 marks. The end-semester exam consists of 40 marks. The internal exam consists of 40 marks.
Other: It is a good course. The course consists of 3 years. Practical and interactive learning should be encouraged.

Placements: There are many companies that visit GSFC University for campus drives. More than 60% of students got placements. The highest package offered is 10 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA, and the average is 6 LPA. The roles offered include Full Stack Web Developer and many others.
Infrastructure: GSFC University has full Wi-Fi access. There is a separate building that houses all the laboratories, including computer labs, chemical labs, and biotech labs. The hostel provides good quality meals, including breakfast in the morning, lunch, an evening snack, and dinner. The canteen offers a variety of food dishes.
Faculty: All the faculty members are well-qualified. They are attentive to each and every student. The course curriculum is very relevant, as it provides deep and thorough knowledge to the students.
