Overall, the college is good.

Placements: The placements are not good for B.A. students, and they should bring some changes in placement offers. The placements should be more for B.A. students as the placements are very good for science students. Hope, there will be more options in the future so that the students show interest in this field also.

Satisfied with the college as it has good placements, infrastructure, and faculty.

Placements: Placements in the college are very good. Here, almost 100% of the seats are filled with the sequential order of marks obtained in VET. The highest salary offered was around Rs. 1,50,000 per month, the lowest was Rs. 10,000 per month and the average was Rs. 50,000 per month.

Good GATE results are secured by the students from all branches.

Placements: There are no placements, many students got qualified in GATE and also secured AIR 2nd, 5th ranks. Out of 240 students, 114 got qualified in GATE exam. The highest package is 9 lakh per annum offered by TCS, and local Bilaspur companies visited for placement. 40% of the students got internships. There is a placement cell, but it is not useful for students.

It's a good college and worth trying. and things are better than before.

Placements: We are the first batch after our University was declared as a central university. Only a few companies visit the campus for the placements and things have changed now. The placement committee has done a good job by bringing a good number of companies to the college, and the students are getting well-placed.

The university is good for study and or personality development with a minimum fee.

Placements: Many companies came last year for the campus selection, and many graduates are selected for the multinational companies, one of them is Godrej and many finance companies. A total of 5 students are selected. The average salary offered to the students is about Rs. 17,000 per month. They are appointed as middle level and tertiary level of management personnel. In the university, there is the placement cell, which is working effectively for increasing the opportunity for the placement of students at...

The review of Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidhyalaya.

Placements: Reputed companies give a chance to the degree holders. Students feel positive to be a part of the university. Many graduates and postgraduates have been settled in the different region of the country as well as in the globe. The teachers also encourage students for the same.

Moderately satisfied beacuse of low edution fees and good teachers.

Placements: No placement offers in the campus as the university administration does not allow campus selection. But the proposal is on for campus placement and may start this year. You could also directly approach companies as it is a central university so the reputation is good.

Positive atmosphere, good faculty with nice infrastructure.

Placements: Good placement. Every year 3-5 Students get hired by some pharmaceutical company with negotiable starting salary. Mostly students are placed for MR (market representative) or other marketing sector. Some students go for internship from college. Yes it is very useful for building future career.

University is good with faculty, students, infrastructure, and facilities, but no placements.

Placements: In this university, you cannot get placement by completing only your graduation because it is situated in a backward state, so any company is not interested in hiring the people from this university. You have to make sure firstly that are you wishing any kind of placement through graduation or only want to be graduate and appear in the competitive exams. There are no placements yet after graduation from this university.

Overall, the college is the best as far as your educational fee is concerned.

Placements: The placement in the college is not up to the mark. The college is not focusing on the placement part but rest overall the students are very hard working and secured themselves through the competitive exam. The placement nowadays is very important to attract the students of various fields.

Absolutely good college in Chhattisgarh.

Placements: The college does not provide any placement. There is no proper arrangement of volunteers and chemicals in labs required to conduct experiments. Labs are average. The librarian is not available. As the lab attendants do not work properly, students have to go to the store to take chemicals. Although the college provides chemicals, students cannot use them.

A good college with a great faculty.

Placements: Placements are done as per your score, and if your score is good, then you get the job. As per my knowledge for a mathematician, we get placements in a company for statics work and all, if you are a teacher in school and college, else they will take you as an ad-hoc if you teach well. So yes, there are placements too.

The life at Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidhyalaya.

Placements: I got a job offer from Infosys in my final semester, but I have to say the student placement department is very poor in this university. Only 3 students including me got a job offer among more than 150 aspirants. So, regarding placement or campus selection, this has to improve a lot.

The best option to study in Bilaspur or from any local place.

Placements: I am an undergraduate, so I have never gone through these, but some of my teachers told that companies come to campus for placement. They offered jobs to the students, but they paid less to the students.

This college is especially for middle-class students who cannot afford private colleges.

Placements: The campus placements are no good. However, a few students of CSE gets placed. Off-campus placements records are good for our college. 3-4 companies approach our college for placements. The average package of the students in the campus placements is around 4-5 lacs per annum.

Overall, average college. Never expect the best. You have to do everything yourself.

Placements: Bad placements or no placements at all. BPO companies come to take engineering students and last year (2017) 50+ students got placements, but the details are not informed properly. We got to know about it from a local newspaper, not from colleges. If people look for placement, then this is not that college you seek. But the senior students got better off-campus placements in big and reputed companies.

Don't expect good infrastructure. Apart from that, university is excellent. Good faculty support.

Placements: The placements in electronics and communication department are moderate, in the sense that all the companies related to computer science engineering hire from ECE. From the past three years, no core company has come for recruitments. However, there is encouragement and support to attend all core companies' off-campus interviews. There are workshops and training for interviews and other competitive exams, which can benefit in off-campus placements. From my seniors' i.e. 2017 pass out batch, onl...

A good university with a good result

Placements: Guru Ghasi Das University is a very good university. If we see the data of placements, we get that different companies like Airtel, ICICI, Bajaj, etc. come for placement and approximately 85% of the students get placed through the campus. 100% students get internship experience with good companies like SECL, Coca-Cola. Overall, the university is good with structure and facility and placement.

Absolutely satisfied with my college because of faculty, labs and good GATE results.

Placements: Placements for our batch or our senior batch is not at all good. No companies visited the campus for hiring students from the civil engineering department. The students got selected in IITs & NITs through clearing the GATE examination. The GATE result of our discipline is quite good. More than 50% students qualify the GATE examination every year.

Apart from placements, the college was up to the mark.

Placements: There have been no placements in our branch for the past 3 years. We can say that the university has 0% placements for the chemical engineering stream. Coming to the internships, some students had searched through online websites like freshers world etc. and found some training institutes.
