Kind of satisfied with the college and the faculty, everything is balanced as of now.

Placements: The direct placements from this course are almost zero. One has to have great skills to get a job directly after a UG degree here. Although the college has a placement cell, it also guides the students to have their dream job ahead and be successful in life. There is no such campus recruitment.

Infrastructure: The facilities provided in classes are good. The infrastructure and college campus are good as well. There are many new facilities provided in the college, and it’s quite good. The classrooms are good. But there is no hostel for the college students. If you want to study here, there is no option for a hostel.

Faculty: The teachers here are one of the best in the state, they are highly qualified and knowledgeable as well. The teaching quality here is great. The course curriculum is relevant as well, it’s not just book knowledge—they provide a lot of information and skills which make a student industry-ready. The semester exams are quite difficult, although the pass percentage is high.

Other: Studying here at Guwahati, it is one of the best colleges here, so it was kind of obvious to select the college, the campus is quite small, and the campus life is boring as well. I think an improvement there would be great. If you are coming for campus life and events, it’s almost zero here.

Not at all satisfied with college, no internship, no placements, no proper teaching, just useless.

Placements: Only 7 students joined the college for the course. I will not recommend anyone to join the college, please don't ruin your future. Just useless they promise this and that before joining the college, and after that not a single thing is done for the students.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is useless, library doesn't have books according to the courses, just full of newspapers and all. Labs are there but we don't get a single visit during college time. Classrooms don't have smart TVs to teach students. Just a total waste of money.

Faculty: Don't have fixed faculty members. They can't teach properly, as they are not able to teach in English. Despite BBA is a professional course. No words to explain, useless at its level best, I will recommend no one to join the college. You will ruin your life for sure, so take decisions very carefully.

Other: Don't join the college, I just ruined my life despite being the topper of the college, as there are no opportunities provided by the college.

My review of Tezpur College.

Placements: Tezpur College does not offer placement opportunities. Students only receive a bachelor's degree certificate after completing the course. There are no placement opportunities or facilities, and no companies visit the college for recruitment or to give placements. They didn't provide any placement opportunities.

Infrastructure: The college has a very beautiful and spacious campus. The classrooms are excellent and very clean. The laboratories and computer lab are also well-equipped and impressive. There is a hostel facility for girls, but not for boys. The food served is also very good. The infrastructure is well-developed. The hostel is also very good.

Faculty: The faculty of the college is highly qualified and supportive. Most of the teachers have good teaching experience and deep knowledge of their subjects. They explain concepts clearly and are always ready to help students inside and outside the classroom. Exams are held every three months. The faculty is experienced.

Other: Tezpur College is a good option for students looking for a balance between academics and campus life.

Best college to do BBA in North East.

Placements: There are only 75 seats for BBA. The highest placement offered through the college placement cell is 4 LPA and only 10%-15% of students got direct offers from college. Students have internship opportunities in the 6th semester. The faculty team is available to help with the internship and it is mandatory.

Infrastructure: So our college basically focuses on commerce courses only one section is there for the BBA department. Faculty office is only for the BBA department. The canteen food is very affordable and good with great taste both paced and cooked foods are available. Medical facility is provided in the common room.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and experienced, they make us understand the topic very efficiently and provide notes, PDF, group discussions, seminars, and class tests. Though, the course curriculum is not very relevant as not much industrial and practical knowledge is provided rather than bookish.

Other: I chose to do a BBA as I want to pursue an MBA in the future. The best thing about the course is good for students who want to opt for an MBA in the future. Not much crowd and scholarship is also provided.

It has good infrastructure, facilities, and decent placements. Faculty quality needs to be improved.

Placements: Around 80% of students from my course get placed through campus recruitment. The highest package is 18 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, and Accenture. A few product-based companies like Amazon and Cisco also hire students. The top role offered is business analysis.

Infrastructure: The department offers well-equipped classrooms with projectors, reliable Wi-Fi, and modern rooms suited for practical learning. The library is well-stocked with relevant academics. The hostel faculty members are decent. Rooms are regularly maintained. The mess food is average.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, good, and approachable. The teaching quality varied somewhere. They are well-qualified and knowledgeable, and others lack effective teaching skills. The course mostly covers fundamental industry concepts, but it could be more practical.

Other: The course provides a solid foundation in core subjects with decent lab sessions, and assignments are well-structured for understanding theories assignments.

The campus infrastructure and facilities are good.

Placements: 30% of students get placed in my course of college. No package is offered in the BBA course. No companies recruit students from the college. 95% of students got internships for 1 month in Tata Capital and Mega Smart. Other students pursue the MBA in NERIM.

Infrastructure: Facilities are good but in classrooms desks and chairs are available. The projector of my class has issues sometimes. Toilets are also not made properly and they are not clean. They clean 1 day in a week. There is no field to play games or any indoor games. Sports are also not provided by the HOD, and they just tell us to stay in the classroom.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified for doctorate degrees and are PhD holders. They teach us very well and if we have any doubts, they tell us again. They help students to get the important ones and also give notes in WhatsApp groups and in class. Semester exams are moderate. The pass percentage is 30%. It helps to pass semester exams by giving notes or important questions that come in exams. They also gave previous question paper about 1-2 weeks ago before the exam.

Other: I chose this course because I studied 12th in commerce and my parents were not satisfied. So after 12th, I did not take B.Com and opted for this course.
