LIFE AT NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY SHIMLA

Infrastructure: Our college is actually situated in the hills, so you can't expect very lavish infrastructure, but there is almost everything that one needs. The sports infrastructure is not so good. Talking about the hostels, the college has just one hostel of its own for the first-year girls, whereas the other one is under construction. All the other hostels are in rented buildings near the campus.

Amazing experience of learning law in the Himalayas.

Infrastructure: The University infrastructure is well suited to the hilly terrain of the Himalayas. There are two blocks in the University for Academic and Administrative purpose. There is only one hostel for girls at the university, and the other one is under construction. Boys hostels are rented and located outside the periphery of the University. Boys' hostels are, however, average as compared to the girls' hostel. Basic amenities like Fan, Light, Geyser and wardrobe are provided to the residents. There are ...

The reality of national law university, Shimla (hpnlu).

Infrastructure: The campus is fully furnished and technically advanced; the hostels and mess are also clean and the quality of food offered by the mess is average and reasonable. There is a library comprising more than 1000 books that is spacious enough. The college and hostels are properly equipped with Wi-Fi and bus facilities are also there. The medical facilities are poor but the sports committee is good. We have opportunities to explore sports as we have a table tennis court, a volleyball court, a badminto...

Infrastructure and hostel facilities are not good yet.

Infrastructure: Mess food is not good. They charge 40/- per meal but not worth it. We have a library where only 12 people can seat. We have limited books there. Wi-Fi connection is not available in every corner of college. Hostels are at very bad conditions. Only 1 girls hotel is there rest are rented.

The university is in a nascent stage. It will reach the utmost height in the coming time.

Infrastructure: As of now, the college's hostel is under construction. The students are living in rented hostels for the time being. One should not expect a lavish infrastructure as the college is situated in hilly terrain. All the basic facilities like Wi-Fi, Labs, Classrooms, and library are available. The quality of the hostel is at par with the survival as in one room there are 4 individuals. Quality of food relates to the general scenario of all Indian colleges i.e., average food. One should have to travel...

Review of Himachal Pradesh National Law University.

Infrastructure: The college and all the hostels are equipped with Wi-Fi services. The classrooms and hostel rooms are well furnished and cleaned regularly. Each hostel features a mess. The college has a library and a reading room. The college allows to provide an e-library, which is very vast. The hostels provide all the essential services, like washing machines and almirahs. There is even a common room in one hostel. There are many dhabas, cafes, and essential shops nearby. The quality of the food can be prove...

There are really good faculty members and course curriculum.

Infrastructure: Our campus is good enough but not good as other top NLUs. Our university has smart classrooms, and it is a completely Wi-Fi-enabled campus. The quality of the library is one of the best things about this university. Our university lacks medical and sports facilities. Presently all the hostels are situated outside the main campus as the hostels are under construction.

Review of Himachal Pradesh National Law University.

Infrastructure: The college is in its initial phase, so the infrastructure is not so good, but the library is in its best condition. Internet is provided in the hostel and college. Food is also hygienic. In terms of academics, the college is very good.

Review of Himachal Pradesh National Law University.

Infrastructure: Our campus is still under construction. However, as far as the constructed part is considered, it has all the amenities such as the library, lecture halls, etc. Our campus has its own printing shop, but the mess facility is average. Our college has rented local nearby private buildings for the hostel.

Review of NLU Shimla (HPNLU) - Himachal Pradesh National Law University.

Infrastructure: It is a newly built campus, and it includes separate buildings for different purposes. As the campus is still under construction, there will be more facilities in future. Otherwise, everything which is required is available here, but space might be a bit congested due to the location. However, our college ensures that it fulfils every need of the students. Nearby private properties are being rented by the university for hostels. Bus service is provided from the hostel to the campus. Hostels are ...

Good faculty and adequate facilities.

Infrastructure: As written above the college is very much in its infant stages having only recently taken in its 4th batch last year and so the infrastructure is still being developed and the campus building itself is not complete. Due to this outdoor sport facilities and canteen are not yet available in the campus. However, the construction work is in full force and will be complete in the coming few years hopefully. The computer lab is okay and the library has many books and journals required but it still nee...

I am satisfied because of good faculty members and decent facilities.

Infrastructure: At the beginning of the university, we didn't have our own campus, but now we have our own campus, which is more than sufficient. The hostels have not yet been constructed, and the university has provided private contracted hostels with decent facilities considering the terrain. The library has every book required for the students. There is a decent quality Wi-Fi facility available in the hostels. Library and computer lab are also available.
