HITSEEE 2025: The Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science have started the admission process for HITSEEE 2025. The last date to submit the application form is April 25, 2025. The mode of the HITSEEE 2025 application form is online, with an application fee cost of INR 2129/-  for all categories. The authorities have also announced the HITSEEE 2025 exam dates on the website. HITSEEE is a university-level entrance exam conducted to offer admissions to B.Tech/B.Arch/B.Des/M.Tech programmes. Before applying for the exam, candidates must carefully check the details and eligibility criteria. The exam will be conducted from April 28, 2025, to May 3, 2025

The HITSEEE 2025 Syllabus will be based on 12th standard subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Chemistry. There will be 120 questions, 40 questions from each subject. What is HITSEEE?

HITSEEE is conducted for admission to the Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science. It is an online examination conducted every year to admit students seeking admission to BTech programmes. The admission is based on merit, considering entrance examination marks along with Class 12 marks. A total of 120 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) are asked in the exam. There are a total of three sections namely Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics comprising 40 questions each. The exam is conducted for 1 hour (60 minutes) only.

Q:   Does Hindustan University has entrance exam?

A:

Yes, Hindustan University conducts two entrance exams at the university level, i.e., HITSEEE and HITSCAT for all the UG and PG courses. The HITSEEE exam is popularly conducted for BTech admission and it is conducted in two phases. The HITSCAT exam is mandatory for the rest of the UG and PG courses. For PhD admission, the university accepts admission through UGC NET/ GATE valid score.

BTech

Pass in Class 12 or equivalent exam with Physics and Mathematics as main subjects along with one of the Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology Technical Vocational subject

Scored minimum 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for reserved category) in the above subjects taken together

Minimum 60% marks in Mathematics

Vocational Stream

 

Candidates who are pass in HSC (vocational stream) with engineering / technical vocational subjects and any one or two of the related subjects like Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry are also eligible

 

They should have obtained 50% aggregate in the vocational & related subjects.

BArch

Pass in Class 12 or equivalent exam with an average not less than 60% with Mathematics / Business Mathematics as one of the subjects

Pass in Diploma (3 years) with Mathematics / Business Mathematics as a subject

 

Scored minimum 50% aggregate from a recognized central / state government institute

All candidates must appear in the Aptitude test conducted by Council of Architecture (NATA) and the score should not be less than 80 out of 200

BTech (Lateral Entry)

Passed BSc in Science of minimum 3 years duration with minimum 50% aggregate and studied Mathematics in Class 12 or studied Mathematics as core or ancillary subjects at BSc level alone are eligible for admission

Age Limit: Candidates born on or after July 1, 2005 are eligible to apply for HITSEEE.

Note: Only Indian nationals, residing in India can apply for HITSEEE 2025

Q:   What is the eligibility criteria for admission to the BTech programme?

The eligibility criteria for admission to the BTech programme is mentiond below:

Academic Stream:  An average of 50 per cent in Class 12/HSC/Intermediate or any equivalent examination with Maths and Physics as compulsory subjects and at least one of Chemistry / Biology / Computer Science / Information Technology / Informatics Practices / Engineering Graphics as major subjects in regular stream from any board.

Vocational Stream: An average of 50 per cent marks in the related subjects and vocational subjects (Theory and Practical).
B.Tech (Bio-Technology) : A Minimum Average of 50 percent in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology.

HITSEEE 2025 Exam Pattern

There will be 120 multiple-choice questions in the HITSEEE 2025 exam, each question will carry 1 Mark. Candidates will be 2 hours in total to solve all the questions. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers. HITSEEE 2025 exam pattern provides an overview of the scheme of the examination, It is an online examination in which 120 questions will be given. Candidates have two hours to answer the questions. The HITSEEE 2025 will consist of Multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Candidates must select one as correct answer out of 4 options.

HITSEEE 2025 Admit Card

Candidates who will successfully apply for the exam can only download their admit card for appearing in the exam. HITSEEE admit card 2025 will be released online at the official website a few days before the exam date. Candidates will require their login details to download their admit card. Candidates must know to download admit card, no candidate will get permission to enter the exam hall without admit card. Post-examination, candidates must retain their admit card until the admissions process is over.

No candidate will receive their scorecard by post or email.
