Candidates appearing for ICFAI Law Admission Test (ILSAT) 2025 should prepare for the entrance exam in order to score well. The entrance exam will be held in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. Candidates should first begin with knowing the key details of the examination including, exam pattern and syllabus as under:

Syllabus for ILSAT Sections
Candidates have to cover the following topics from each subject:
- English including Comprehension - vocabulary, reading comprehension, spellings, synonyms, antonyms
- Logical and Analytical Reasoning - patterns, the odd one out, series, relations, analogy, syllogism, blood relations, directions etc.
- Legal Reasoning - Core law topics including, torts, liability, criminal law, family law, contractual law, constitutional law, international law, IPR, contemporary topics and legal awareness
- GK & Current Affairs - general knowledge around politics, economics, geography, environment as well as, current events of national and international significance.

ILSAT Preparation Tips 2025
Here are some tips to prepare for ILSAT 2025 exam:
- Make a section-wise preparation plan - Candidates need to schedule their preparation for ILSAT 2025 in a way which is focused on each subject, cover the syllabus as well as, enhance test-taking skills. Moreover, candidates need to work on time management skills between the section as there will only be 120 minutes to attempt a total of 125 questions. Practice each subject for at least two hours a day and, include practising of questions based on the concepts for 15 minutes at least. Make notes and develop tricks to solve questions quickly and save time. The reasoning and English comprehension question will need little extra time, therefore try to accommodate for it accordingly. To attempt questions quickly, learn idioms and enhance vocabulary as most of the candidates get stuck on questions as they cannot understand the exact meaning of words.
- Practice mock test and question papers - To ensure and cross-check exam preparation, candidates should practice mock-tests and question papers based on the exam pattern of ILSAT. With the mock tests, candidates would be able to develop speed, accuracy and work on time management. Moreover, the practice would give them an analysis of their ILSAT preparation, so that they can rework on their key improvement areas.
- Revision plan - In the last week remaining for ILSAT 2025, candidates should revise with the help of revision notes and mock tests. The questions will carry multiple choices, and to avoid confusion and select the correct answer, candidates should have concept clarity. Therefore, make use of revisions and clear any confusion there could be in the subjects. Learn tricks to memorise answers for GK, Current Affairs and Legal Reasoning sections. This will save much time for other sections i.e. Logical Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning and English section as they are time-consuming.
