CLAT Final Answer Key 2025 (Dec 9): Objection Window (CLOSED), Download Provisional Key PDF for ALL Sets

With the help of CLAT answer key, candidates can calculate the probable score that they can secure in the exam. However, for the same, candidates need to be aware of the CLAT 2025 marking scheme.

CLAT Marking Scheme

As per the CLAT marking scheme released by the Consortium of NLUs:

• One mark is allotted for every correct answer
• 0.25 marks are deducted for every incorrect answer
• Zero marks for questions left unattempted

CLAT Passing Marks out of 120

The Consortium of NLUs does not release any passing marks for the CLAT exam. Candidates are always selected based on the merit rank. CLAT NLU Allotment is done based on the merit cum preference.  However, those candidates have a good chance who secure 85+ marks to get admission to top NLUs in the country. 

Formula to Calculate CLAT 2025 Marks 

The key formula to calculate the CLAT 2025 score by using the exam answer key is:

Candidates must pay INR 1,000 for each objection raised regarding the CLAT 2025 Answer Key. If an objection is found to be valid, the fee will be refunded. Please note that objections cannot be submitted without the required fee.

Candidates could raise objections against the questions/answers with which they are not satisfied on the official website. Check out the quick steps below:

Step 2: Login using registered mobile number and password.

Step 3: Click on the Submit Objections button.

Step 4: Select the type of objection (1) About the question or (2) About the answer key.

Step 5: Enter objection details.

Step 6: Click on submit button.

Step 7: Click on the Make Payment button to make a payment of INR 1,000 per question.

After the exam authority receives objections on the CLAT 2025 provisional answer key, it will review all the discrepancies and released a CLAT Final answer key 2025. Through this process, the answer key of CLAT exam will be analysed before the results are published. This will also affect the CLAT 2025 cutoff for the CLAT exam, as some answers might be revised or removed from final score evaluation.

The CLAT Final Answer Key 2025 will be published a few days after the CLAT Objection Window 2025 closes. Once available, the final answer key will be posted here. Notably, one question from the English Language Section and one from the Legal Reasoning Section were removed from the CLAT Final Answer Key 2024. Consequently, the CLAT 2024 UG exam was evaluated out of 118 marks instead of the initially stated 120 marks.

The exam authority received 765 objections on CLAT UG and PG question papers. There were 165 questions in CLAT UG question paper as per the official notification released by the consortium. Here's an analysis of the CLAT UG and PG answer keys:

Previous Years CLAT Answer Keys

CLAT Consortium releases the CLAT 2025 answer key for CLAT exam 2025 so that:

• Candidates can determine their expected scores in the exam

• Candidates can file/ raise objections on the answer key in case they find any incorrect question or options mentioned in their question paper set

• Candidates can also get an idea of CLAT 2025 cutoff and hence, use CLAT College Predictor Tool to know the college in which they can secure admission

Overall, the answer key is released before the CLAT result, so that there is transparency in the result evaluation process and the need for rechecking or re-evaluating results is not required.

Candidates can send their complaints regarding CLAT 2025 final answer key, as well as conduct of examination at different test centres. They will be able to submit the grievances in online mode at consortiumofnlus.ac.in as under:

1. Login to CLAT 2025 dashboard at - consortiumofnlus.ac.in 
2. Click the ‘Submit Grievance’ button, and state the nature of the grievance;
3. Describe grievance in maximum 1,000 characters, and upload supporting documents;
4. Submit the declaration form, and click the ‘Submit’ button.

The CLAT 2025 result will be released based on the CLAT Final Answer Key 2025. Candidates must note that CLAT 2025 Result will be published on the official website of consortium; i.e. consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Candidates will be able to check the result by logging into their registered accounts. 

Based on the result, all the qualifying candidates will be called for CLAT counselling. In the counselling session, all the qualifying candidates will be allotted seats in their respective courses offered at CLAT colleges .
