The lowest salary package is offered, and work is very hard, So, leave that job and depend on the other companies.

B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication - Batch of 2025
3.4

Good, but can be better. More & more involvement from the media industry should be brought to table.
Placements: There are no placements for my course in our college because the batch size is very small and very few people show interest in our courses. The internships are not provided from the college side, but we can do internships at the places we want with the letter approved by our HOD.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are good. We have access to our studios and libraries, and the editing rooms are available for us. The students are allowed to use the digital equipment available in college, and we are allowed to cover events and do photography and videography.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified from good places, and they are helpful towards everyone. The teachers of our department are knowledgeable and very well aware of technology. The course curriculum is relevant, but there are no field trips from the college side, which is a big drawback. We do not get to visit places with our teachers much. The semester exams are good; they are not easy but not very difficult. Students who pay attention and study can pass and score well easily.
Other: The course, Journalism and Mass Communication, is very interesting and exciting because we don't need to be bookworms, but much more interactive and approachable, which helps people overcome social anxiety.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2026

Good or bad things about the college, but this is actually a good college & you can enjoy your life.
Placements: This college unnecessarily increases the fees and harasses students by the college management and workers. Approximately 10% of students are placed in companies by the college campus. 50% of students are interested in the college campus. Then the rest of the students collect their degree and go back home.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available. The quality of labs is low. My classroom in college is good, like average. The college library is excellent. It has a quiet and relaxing feel for studying. The hostel is not good. I stayed in the college hostel for only one year. The environment is fully green. The facilities for sports and games are crowded.
Faculty: How can I explain the teacher's teaching quality? But I can say the teachers are qualified and well-knowledgeable. I think it's good. The course curriculum is good and pre-planned, following the timetable. The semester exam is hard, but the process in the exam feels like you're preparing for an IAS examination.
Other: The environment is very green and feels comfortable. The college computer lab should be improved. Events, scholarships, and the surroundings are good.

I am not satisfied with this college; the admission and office work are very bad.
Placements: Overall percentage of IES University is 75%. The lowest package is around 2 LPA, and the average package is about 4 LPA. The highest package is about 21 LPA. There are many companies visiting and students are getting placed in companies like Juspay, TCS, Amazon, Wipro, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are good; there are many facilities available in our university such as a library, all labs, and some smart classes, but not all classes are smart. The hostel facilities are good; they are well-maintained and always neat and clean. The mess in the university is not good because the food is not well-prepared for students.
Faculty: Some teachers in the university are helpful and the teaching quality is good, but some teachers do not teach well and students are not satisfied with them. The sessions in the university are very late; they couldn't take the exams on time, which can delay the exams.
Other: According to me, the best things in the university are not that great. They can feel like a school and cannot feel like a university. The uniform in the university is compulsory, and students have to buy the uniform from the university. After market, the same uniform can be bought for 3000, and all must maintain it. Many students face this problem; many students come from middle-class families and cannot afford to buy the university uniform.

If you have talent then you should be away from this college otherwise most welcome .
Placements: Placements in IES University for diploma students are decent; approximately 60% of students get placed. The highest package is 6 LPA, and the average package is 2.5 to 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are IBM and Infosys. Internships are not a focus for diploma students.
Infrastructure: Facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, and a library are available. The facilities provided in the hostel are good; they provide a bed, study table, and locker, but the quality of food in the mess is the worst. In my opinion, consider a paying guest accommodation. Canteen and sports facilities are also available.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful if you are regular in college and maintain good attendance. This university focuses on attendance, dress code, and fees; if these are not in order, then you have to pay a penalty. Semester exams are quite easy; you can score 60 percent easily.

Diploma in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2025
2.2
1Placements4Infrastructure3Faculty1Crowd & Campus Life2Value for Money
In IES university, there is a very big issue with the fee structure.
Placements: I am a student of civil engineering. Any company for civil engineers is not visited yet in my college. Placement for civil engineers students in this college is very bad. But this college offers an average of 4-5 LPA for computer science engineering students.
Infrastructure: Faculty is very good in the civil engineering department. Infrastructure like the classroom is average, the library and labs are quite good, and wi-fi is not available for students. Mobile phones are restricted on college campuses. Drinking water is not drinkable and not available 24*7.
Faculty: The teachers are knowledgeable, qualified, and helpful. Teaching quality is slightly good but not at all. College does not make the students industry-ready. Semester examination is very easy; anyone can pass an exam without studying hard. There is a problem with the fee structure.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in it, but I chose this college because my broker made me fool while admission. Here is a big issue related to structure. Event like a live concert organized every year with the purpose of business. Live concert tickets are too costly and compulsory for every student. If students do not purchase tickets, then a fine will be applied to the student. Fest like Inforia is organized every year, but if you want to participate, then you have to pay first.

B.Sc. B.Ed. - Batch of 2027

3Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty1Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
This is an honest review of the B.Sc. B.Ed. dual degree program from a girl's perspective.
Placements: I am a student in the B.Sc. B.Ed. integrated course at IES University, Bhopal. I have completed my first year and am now heading towards the beginning of the second year. Our batch is the first to join this course since its inception. Overall placements in the college are decent, and the competition is okay. Since our course began just one year ago, our batch will be the first to sit for placements. Placements for other courses are good and are increasing each year, so we expect good placements from our course too.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are very good, all equipped as smart classes with projectors, smart boards, and traditional chalkboards. LAN Wi-Fi is available in all departments throughout the college. The Wi-Fi speed is slightly low but sufficient for studying from YouTube. The library and labs are not up to par. The library is small and sometimes runs out of stock of curriculum books. Hostels are quite good with all amenities available at an affordable rate; there are three hostels in total, two for boys and one for girls. Hostel fees are 15k per semester. Sports grounds are available for almost all games on campus. There is also a swimming pool, though girls are not allowed to use it. The mess food is okay enough to survive on, but there is room for improvement. Some medical facilities are provided, mainly limited to first aid.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and friendly, although this varies from student to student. They are well qualified to teach their subjects. The curriculum is relevant and flexible. The Centralized Placement Cell (CPC) is active in preparing students for industry. However, students must put in their own effort too; one cannot rely solely on the CPC. Semester exams are easy; attending all classes ensures one is well-prepared, as most exam content comes directly from class notes. The passing percentage is low, at just 35%, which is achievable even with last-minute study.
Other: The main attraction of enrolling in this dual degree course is obtaining both degrees in the same timeframe. Improvements could be made to the mess food quality, as boys can eat outside but girls must stick with the poor quality mess food due to restrictions on leaving the hostel after 6 p.m. There are almost no college fests; occasional small events occur, mostly speeches by deans and professors. The crowd is decent and helpful. The campus has excellent connectivity, located near an important road where buses, taxis, and autos are easily accessible from the main gate. The campus surroundings resemble a construction site and barren fields, being in the suburbs of Bhopal. Scholarships and rewards are provided based on eligibility and academic performance, with MMVY and MPtaasc being popular scholarships available to almost all students.
