BBA - IBS, Hyderabad - watch-out in ten years.

Placements: The batch of 2011-14 was the second batch of BBA for IBS - Hyderabad, and this was the main reason that the placements were close to nil. As far as I can remember, not a single company came for the placements during or after the completion of our degree. Not only this, the summer internships provided by the college were limited to two average companies only. This was a total disappointment.

The one stop for education.

Placements: The placement records are fantastic. In the 2014-16 batch, the highest package was around 48 lakhs. For the 2015-17 batch, already 55 students have been placed under HDFC with a package of 10 lakhs. The companies that come for internship are great as well.

ICFAI Business School is a good college to study in.

Placements: The placements are good. The minimum package is 6.7 LPA and this year, the first company to coming has a package around 9.25 LPA. Mostly banks come for placements. There is a company named Tularam that offers 47 lakh package, which is an international company. The placements for finance and marketing are very good. But for operations and human resources, they're only good.

IBS Hyderabad - The good, bad and ugly.

Placements: The placements have improved over the last couple of years. There has been an increase in the number of companies offering packages in the bracket of 6-10 lakhs, thereby increasing the average salary package. You will find very few FMCG companies visiting the campus. The college is good for people who are looking to get into IT and banking sectors.

Good for freshers to study but not advisable for experienced due to high batch size and competition.

Placements: The placements in my batch of 2017 were average. Around 90% of the total students who wanted placements were placed. There were few students who opted out from campus placements and also some had pre-placement offers from their internship. There were few who took placement off-campus. The highest domestic salary was 24.40 LPA and lowest domestic salary was around 3.5 LPA. The average salary must be around 5 LPA. There were many companies which came to my college for campus placement such as ...

Good placements and infrastructure. No city connectivity. Fee is on the higher side.

Placements: In 2012-14 batch, 80% of the students were placed before the college was over. 10% of the students didn't apply for the placements as they wanted to start their own business or join the family business. In my batch, which was 2015-16, 87-88% students were placed before the last day of the college. The best part is they don't ask you to move out once the college is over. The college conducts extra classes for unplaced students and calls more companies for the placements. Most of the unplaced st...

Happy to choose IBS Hyderabad campus for MBA degree

Placements: Placements were good. Almost everyone got placed but package and in some cases profile was not satisfactory. Average package - 6 lacs and almost all good companies Wipro, TCS, UBS, etc. visit the campus for recruitment. Some companies which come to hire interns offer pre-placement offer.

On the darker side, the placements are not good but on the brighter side, campus life is very good.

Placements: The placements are average. The average package is 2.5 to 3 lakhs p.a. Most of our seniors of CSE branch are placed but in other branches like mechanical, civil and ECE, they are struggling for their placements. Till now TCS didn't come even once and can't say anything about the future. But if we look at the brighter side, the college is providing placement training i.e. soft skills training in summers, although paid.

Good placements in IBS Hyderabad.

Placements: Placements are very good. The college has a dedicated team of teachers dedicated for the placements and internships of the students. The college gives good industry exposure. Also, the college provides chances to do internships in companies offering preplacement offers. The college gives placement in very good companies.

The college is beautiful with excellent placements and good faculty.

Placements: If we look at the present scenario when the economy is recovering from recession placements that happened this year can be considered on track. 1150 students were placed out of 1200. The avg package offered was around Rs. 7 lakhs and the maximum package was about Rs. 48 lakhs. ITC, Novartis, Hero, Maruti, TCS etc., were few of the companies that visited the college. Posts like BA, Area Manager, Management Trainee, Store manager etc., were offered for students. Comming to internship, the majority...

ROI is low, keep it as a last option.

Placements: As of now, the course has been completed but some students are still unplaced, placement scenario was bad this year, though the highest international package was of Rs. 47 lacs which is for Nigeria but the lowest also turns up to Rs. 3.5 lpa (in hand), average packages was near about Rs. 6-7 lpa. Companies like HDFC, JPMC, GE-SBI, Amazon offered a good package. HDFC was the 1st company to arrive in the campus for placement and selected 56 students at a package of 8.5L lpa. The companies which...

Satisfied because of the placement and infrastructure.

Placements: Many companies visited the campus, including Ramky infrastructure, Aparna, Ultratech, Moldrech and My Home, these are some good companies. In these companies, only Aparna Constructions have provided only internships, My Home and Ramky Infra have provided internship through placements (means if you perform well in internships, then they will offer you a job). Ultratech and Moldtech companies are offering direct placements. While coming to the package, the highest package is 2.5 lakh per annum an...

Consider this college if you are ready to spend a bomb & if your CAT score is pathetic.

Placements: The companies which came were pretty good, but the average package was about 5.5 to 6 lakh per annum. The highest placement was for 24 LPA (national) and 46 LPA or so (international). It's January, and around 450 out of 1100 haven't been placed yet. The roles offered were Business Analyst, Management trainee etc. About 70% of the students got the internship from the college and the average stipend offered was about 5k -6k per month.

A perfect jungle to be a MBA post-graduate.

Placements: My senior batch placement was pretty good as almost 95% got placed. But this time in my batch, still 30 - 40 % are left to get placed. Sales profile is offered in the maximum recruitments here. The highest package offered nationally is 24 lacs and the lowest s 4.75 lacs. Internationally, the package offered is 46.5 lacs. DE Shaw, Wipro, TCS, Maruti, HDFC, ICICI, Amazon and Tolaram are the companies which visited the campus. The internship situation is also good here, and the companies are Toyot...

Placements: The college provides 100% placement and the companies like Crisil and JPMC for a business analyst. The highest package is an international package by TolaRam for around 45 lakhs and the national package highest is till 14 lakhs. The average package is 6 lakhs. The strength of IBS is huge, but the placements mainly took around the average package only.

Placements: For the placements, our main recruiter is HDFC which comes with a package above 6 lakhs. For marketing, we have one of the top company like Zenoti, CBRE and the highest package is by Tolaram which is an international package in IBS.

This time also, we got the highest package offered from TolaRam for about 45-50 lacs and the domestic packages are mainly around 6 lacs and thus, the average package offered in IBS also is also around 6 lacs.
